2:05 Lingfield - Horse Racing Tips (21st December)

LINGFIELD 2.05

A nice looking class 4 race, depending on prices I will look to lay Pop Dancer, Doc Sportello and Bombastic, there's few that could run well, El Hombre, Count Otto and Wheres Mick and could be an each way bet but hopefully they will only be battling for 3rd place as I will be backing ARAIFJAN 5/1 who can be versatile with its racing tactics and as its drawn in stall 1 I think it might race from the front as will my other selection MERHOOB 10/3 as long as it gets out quickly enough from stall 12, they both have good trainer/jockey stats making both stables are expecting to win this race.

Araifan 5/1 6th (-1pt)
Merhoob 4/1 7th (-1pt)

LINGFIELD 3.05

For a class 5 race this looks very competitive, there's plenty of early paced types so it should be a true run race, Boom The Groom won last time out over this c/d but its penalty for winning that race wont make it easy for it to follow up here but it could go well, in fact I've only got 2 horses that are not with a few pounds of my 2nd to 7th rated horses but i think at the weights my top rated beast is COMEATCHOO 6/1 and from stall 1 it can hopefully get a good early position from which to attack in the home straight.

Comeatchoo 6/1 2nd (-1pt)

NEWCASTLE 4.25

The draw usually makes no difference at this straight course and there is 3 known front running types in this field of 12, Gunmetal in stall 2 is one of them and my 5th top rated, in 4th top spot is Lucky Lodge who will be trying to stay on at the finish after tracking the leaders, Tathmeen is 3rd top and will be running on well at the finish but i will be backing FANTASY KEEPER 8/1 who is top rated on 2020 c/d times and a front runner so if getting there he should be hard to catch but the top weight WASNTEXPECTINGTHAT 20/1 (EW) has a time from 2019 that would make it my top rated and this is a drop down in class for it so has to be worth an each way wager at the price

NEWCASTLE 5.25

Boy oh boy is the ratings for this race so close at the top of the leader board, there's several who could make the frame and there might be an each way wager when I've seen the betting, Kommander Kirkup is my 3rd top rated on 2020 c/d times but this 9 yo does seem to be on a slow downward spiral and could go well here, the top weight Phoenix Star is going for the hattrick and is my 2nd top rated and that is only by 1lb but the reason I am going for PROPHECY 10/1 (EW) is that it could be the one to set the pace and if allowed an easy lead could lead from start to finish although the trainer/jockey stats are a little off-putting but hopefully it will be an each way price and worth a small punt.

11:45 Lingfield Racing Tips (19th December)

LINGFIELD 11.45

A dash with 3 known front runners, I'm not sure A Go Go 3/1 can reproduce its form on this surface so worth a lay, Kaths Lustre 7/2 may need a longer trip therefore worth laying, Starchant and Fairy Fast are my joint 2nd top rated but both from times earlier in the season and they haven't shown much on their recent starts, my money will be riding on EQUALLY FAST 11/2 who is a possible pace setter and should be able to gain control of the rails and once in front it ought to prove hard to catch but the jockey Franny Norton is 0-10 for this stable which surprises me but it surely that must just be a coincidence and he has a chance to break his duck for the stable here.

Equally Fast 11/2 5th (-1pt)

Total: -1pt

LINGFIELD 1.25

A very competitive class 2 race i can only see Lomu 10/1 to lay if it drops to a single figure price, time wise I might also take on Premier Power 5/4 it has been in good form but none of its races were as fast as some of these can go on a good day and if favourite wont be of value and its even a shorter than i anticipated, Brian The Snail could stay on at the finish and is going for a hattrick of wins here, i will take a wild punt in this race by backing MERHOOB 12/1 (EW) each way, it has led before and from stall 4 could even grab the rails if it can beat the stall 2 horse out of the stalls, it has the fastest c/d figure for 2020 and that would be 2nd best overall but its best from 2019 pushes it back into top spot.

Merhoob 12/1 7th (-2pts)

WOLVERHAMPTON 5.00 Div I

Quite a poor race where on tissue prices 8 of the 11 runners are predicted to be double figure prices and my top two are in the 3 that are fancied in the betting, The Mackem Torpedo 2/1 could be the favourite but i think it might need further to show its best and might be worth taking on with a lay bet and at the price isn't value to back in my opinion, i will be backing 2 horses to cover the angles, ROCKESBURY 13/2 could be the one to set the pace, it hasn't run here before so not 100% sure what to expect but its best time from Chelmsford makes it my top rated on overall figures so could lead all the way if not then my 2nd top rated horse KNOCKABOUT QUEEN 7/2 who is top rated on just c/d times and it was recorded this year which is always a positive.

Knockabout Queen 13/2 7th (-1pt)
Rockesbury 13/2 8th (-1pt)

Total: -2pt

WOLVERHAMPTON 5.30 Div II

This is a strange race where there's not a single horse that has a recorded c/d time from 2020 so I've had to go back to 2019 to find Billyoakes 6/1 best time while in its defence it has only had one c/d run this year so it could make the frame but the trainer/jockey stats are quite low and the price isn't really big enough to back each way, Miracle Garden is my joint top rated horse once again using a 2019 time but again the trainer doesn't have the greatest of stats at this course which leaves me with SWANTON BLUE 28/1 (EW) and this ones time was recorded this year but at Chelmsford and if it takes to this course it could be worth a small each way wager especially at the price on offer.

Swanton Blue 28/1 1pt EW (+4.6pts)

Total: +4.6pts

WOLVERHAMPTON 6.00

This is a decent looking class 4 race with just one known front runner in Mythmaker 5/1 who is my joint 3rd top rated horse alongside A Sure Welcome 4/1 who likes to track the leaders and both could make the frame if things go their way but neither are each way prices in my opinion, sitting in 2nd top spot is Steelriver 12/1 but its only by 1lb and this one can be held up or track the leaders so could make the frame and is an each way price but my money will be riding on CHOOKIE DUNEDIN 4/1 who won last time out and has been found a good opportunity to follow up here, stall 10 isn't ideal but a repeat of its time last time out would see it winning this race a shade cosily.

WOLVERHAMPTON 7.30

Sprint number 6 for the day, there's only 11 runners but its a race where I will have to dutch a few of them, ZULU ZANDER 10/1 is top rated on just 2020 c/d times so has to be included and its versatile when it comes to racing tactics, ANOTHER ANGEL 7/2 could be the one to set the early pace and is my 2nd top rated on overall figures and could make the frame but isnt an each way price then add BALLYARE 11/2 into the mix as this one is top rated using a Newcastle time but its best c/d time isn't good enough to even make the frame, I hope I've got the winner within the three selections but my stakes wont be at full strength.

5:00 Newcastle Racing Tips & Lay Bets (12th December)

NEWCASTLE 5.00

For a class 6 race this is quite a competitive affair, there's a couple of front runners among the 13 entrants and I think this race could be won from the front, I will look to lay (*Debawtry + Kaafy + *Suwaan) if in single figure prices, Longroom is one of the possible pacesetters and could do enough to make the frame but it would need others to under perform, Qaaraat is capable of winning this race if able to reproduce its best 2019 time while its best 2020 time isn't quite good enough, Fair Alibi is my 3rd top rated and this is a drop in class compared to its recent runs and could be a danger so maybe worth a covering bet but I will be relying on LORD OF THE GLEN 9/1 (EW) who is the other front running type in the race, so I am hoping this one can lead all the way in this race and at the price it might be worth doing it each way.

WOLVERHAMPTON 7.15

Another 13 runner race with 3 known front running types apart from the 2 at the top of the handicap I cannot find anything to lay which will be of any value, El Hombre and Misty Grey could go ok in this race if reproducing their best efforts, of the likely pacesetters I think from stall 8 MERHOOB 5/1 should be able to lead in the make-up of this race and if getting to the front it could prove hard to catch as on my figures its only 1lb below being top rated but that is using a 2019 time then in its defense it hasn't run over this c/d recently, my top rated is ASTRO JAKK 6/1 who won for me last time out at Newcastle and if able to reproduce that time here would just get up on the line but I will be backing them both to cover both angles.

WOLVERHAMPTON 7.45 Div I

I cannot find a front runner in this race which always makes things hard to analyse and leaves me with very little to say about most of the runners, there is a few I could lay as they can struggle to stay the distance but if they go at a slower early pace then that might not matter but I will go with having 2 small bets in the race, one that might prosper if they go off at a slow pace is IVA REFLECTION 16/1 (EW) and this 3yo has to be considered so at the price I have to back it as an each way bet, SEPAHI 28/1 (EW) who can be held up or track the leaders and hopefully it will race prominently so as not to be caught out flat footed if something suddenly kicks from the front and maybe worth a small each way punt at the price.

WOLVERHAMPTON 8.15 Div II

In this 2nd division there's 3 known front runners, shame one of them wasn't in the other division, Inevitable Outcome is my joint 2nd top rated on my speed figures and this one is usually held up for a late run and could do enough to run into a place, Paddy Power is my top rated but I had to go back to 2019 to find its best time and its recent form has been woefully short of that level this year, my other joint 2nd top rated is HEER WE GO AGAIN 10/1 (EW) who is versatile when it comes to racing tactics which does include leading, stall 10 isn't usually ideal but with only 3 that could go from the front then it can either lead or contest the lead and if getting to the front it could prove hard to catch or it could track the leaders and then stay on the stronger at the finish either way at the price it has to be an each way wager.

4:00 Lingfield Racing Tips & Lay Bets (28th February)

LINGFIELD 4.00

Only 5 runners to analyse and I'm hoping the one I will be backing can lead all the way, I'm in a quandary with Shamshon it should be a lay as it doesn't always see out the 6th furlong in a fast run race and with just the 1 known frontrunner will the pace be quick enough to ruin this ones chances but it does have very good jockey stats, I will lay (Deputise) as it usually needs a run after a break from racing, Fizzy Feet has been in good form lately and could go well again here but my money will be on MERHOOB 7/2 and hope that Adam Kirby sets the right pace from the front to repel all challengers.

NEWCASTLE 6.15

Theres 13 runners here with very little early pace in the race, Quench Dolly is versatile and capable of leading if nothing else wants to but I think the pace might be set by Tomahawk Ridge although it's not run over this c/d before and its 2 AW runs have both been poor, I will put some lays up when I've seen the betting as this looks a competitive affair with several that could run well enough to make the frame on some bits of their form and speed figures, Gowanbuster, Buniann, Oriental Lilly, Eternal Sun, Kyllachey Warrior would be on this list but it usually needs its run after a break, the one that comes out top on my figures is Qaaraat but its best times have come in lower class races but this stable very often runs more than 1 horse in a race and can be a bit tricky with which ones are trying but its stablemate KLOPP 7/2 who won last time out has been found an ideal opportunity to follow up in this race but I may very well have a covering bet on the bottomweight just in case they are being tricky here.

NEWCASTLE 7.45

This is a poor looking class 7 race and it is very hard to be confident with any selection at this donkey level but if you delve down deep enough you can/will find a few snippets to work with and I think I might have found one thread of form good enough for me to have a bet, maybe not at full strength at this class and a lot will depend on the betting.

Now just to see how many of you actually read what I say and not just concentrate on the highlighted/emboldened horses

I want you to look through this race and see if you can find the horse I will be backing, if enough people have a guess then I will reveal the mystery horse if not I will keep it to myself because at this level nothing is guaranteed to run its best.

1:40 Lingfield Racing Tips (30th December)

LINGFIELD 1.40

MERHOOB has a fastish c/d time from this year that would put it 2nd top on just this years times and has a time from Chelmsford in 2018 that would make it my top-rated but it hasn't been in good form lately but if leading from the off it could prove hard to catch but hasn't been able to lead lately so not sure quite what to expect.

LADY DANCELOT 5/1 hasn't any course form but does have a time from Kempton in 2018 that would make it 3rd top overall while its 2019 time is quite a bit below that level, the trainer has decent stats at this course and the horses versatile racing tactics makes it another I'm not really sure what to expect but I'm doubting it can win this race, so worth laying the win part at the price.

TOTAL COMMITMENT 15/2 another with no course form to work with while its best time in 2019 is from Kempton but a few spots below what's required to win this race but being a 3yo never say never but I would look to lay it if of value which it is just about.

INTISAAB 11/1 is on a losing streak of 20 which doesn't inspire confidence, it hasn't run over this c/d so far this year but it's c/d time from 2018 would make it my 2nd top-rated overall. I'm not saying it can't go well here but I'm doubting its chance of winning the race.

DUNKERRON 7/1 is a 3yo who has good trainer/jockey stats but hasn't run at this course before and its best time from Kempton this year would make it 4th best on overall figures so it could make the frame but would need to improve to win the race so lay at the price.

CHARMING KID has 1 run over this c/d which resulted in a slow time, it's best speed figure which is from Kempton this year isn't good enough to win this race and the jockeys 0-14 on the stables 3yo’s makes me think I will lay it if of any value but not at 20/1.

COUNT OTTO has had 3 wins and 2 places from 8 runs on the AW tracks but would need to improve timewise to win this race and another I would look to lay if of value.

PRINCE OF ROME has a time from Kempton in 2019 that would put it just outside my top 4 ratings, it has never run here before but has won twice and been placed another 6 times in its 9 runs on the AW courses, it needs to improve but being a 3yo it could feasibly do so but its not for me in this race so a lay at 7/2.

FIZZY FEET 6/1 has good trainer/jockey stats and won its last race so is in cracking form, its 3rd best on just my 2019 c/d times and 6th top overall and I think it could make the frame especially having won twice and placed 6 times from its 12 AW runs.

SPOOF hasn't won in its last 13 races and its best time from Kempton in 2018 wouldn't be good enough to break that run here and the jockeys 1-31 record on the stables older horses isn't inspiring and also a shorter trip might suit it better.

SECOND COLLECTION has one run over this c/d but in a slow time, it has won 2 and placed 3 from 10 AW runs, its best time from this year which was at Kempton would leave outside my top 4 ratings so not for me int this race.

SUZI'S CONNOISSEUR has a fast time over this c/d from earlier this year but hasn't been in good form lately and this class may be a touch too high for it nowadays but does usually try to stay on at the end of its races.

SUMMARY: I will not be betting too heavily in this race as its got too many variables to be completely sure of what will do what, MERHOOB 12/1 is more than capable of winning this race if leading but for some reason hasn't been able to do so lately, it may be worth the risk and have an each-way punt at the price.

Merhood 12/1 3rd

3:45 Newcastle - Free Winning Racing Tips (14th December)

NEWCASTLE 3.45

I can see natural frontrunning types in stalls 1. 2 and 13 but the draw makes very little difference here, of these 3 maybe Rockley Point will do the best but it's not in my top 4 ratings, Landing Night comes out 4th best and likes to track the leaders as does Qaaraat my 3rd top-rated, in 2nd top spot I've got the 3yo Be Proud another that likes to track the pacesetters, my top rated is another 3yo in *KYLLACHY WARRIOR 8/1 who can be held up or track the pace and the booked jockey has a good win ratio for this stable, the downside is that it is still a maiden after 11 runs but it is taking on slightly lower class horses here and it has been in the frame in 4 of its 7 AW races and I will be having a punt on it hoping it can break its duck.

*NR

WOLVERHAMPTON 6.20

This is a tricky little class 6 race and to be honest, I cannot narrow it down to less than 4 possible winners, Peachey Carnehan has a good jockey booking and I think this one from stall 3 will be the one to set the pace and could be very dangerous if allowed an easy lead, It Must Be Faith usually likes to track the leaders and has a fast time from 2017 but has been way below that last year and this, Miracle Garden can track the pace or be held up but hasnt been in good form lately so im not sure what to expect of it here and it might be foolish to ignore it, Brockey Rise usually stays on at the finish over this distance but is on a losing run of 11 ut could go well if the jockette is worth her 7lb claim, overall I think the safest call would be for me to back PEACHEY CARNEHAN 12/1 in case it can lead all the way and then also back BROCKEY RISE 6/1 in case the apprentice brings out the best in the horse and then have smaller covering bets on the other 2 horses mentioned

Peachy Carnehan 12/1 6th
Brockey Rise 8/1 8th

WOLVERHAMPTON 6.50

A class 2 race but its a bit devoid of early pace which always makes analysis tricky, Mokaatil is capable of running a fast time but usually in class 3 races so may struggle again here to win this race, Lancelot Du Lac could do enough to make the frame if running to its best but is on a losing run of 12 races, Desert Doctor won last time out at Chelmsford so is good heart at the moment and could make the frame but my money will be riding on MERHOOB 14/1 who is drawn in stall 1 so could get a good early position and then prove the stronger at the finish and the jockey booking looks to be a positive one and the price looks a little generous so I can go with an each-way wager.

Merhoob 14/1 5th
