POP DANCER 15/2 is a 3yo who is usually held up for a late run, it hasn't run over this distance on this surface before and its best time from Wolverhampton is relatively slow so would need to improve quite a bit for the switch to this c/d.
CHARMING KID 9/1 hasn't any course form to its name but is known to like to front run and has a fast time from Newcastle which would make it 2nd top rated overall but its times on this surface but elsewhere leave it needing to improve to win here.
ALSVINDER 5/2 another that likes to front run and from stall 2 it could gain control on the rail and as its my top rated if it gets to the front it should prove hard to catch so therefore could lead all the way here.
THEGREATESTSHOWMAN 4/1 is my 3rd top rated on overall figures but its best c/d time came back in 2018 and that time was 6lbs better than this ones best time from 2020.
DAZZLING DES 2/1 this 3yo comes out 4th top overall and that was from a 2020 c/d time so could go well and will be trying to stay on at the finish but maybe a little bit too late to win this race and i am surprised it is the favourite to win the race.
VANDAD 13/2 this 3yo is a possible front-runner but it is still a maiden after ten previous races but from what i can gather it looks as though it might be a better horse when raced over a longer distance so i will lay it at the price.
CONCLUSION: With half the field liking to front run it should be a true run affair, I could lay Vandad if of any value to lay, my money will be riding on.
ALSVINDER 5/2 who is my top rated and has the best of the draw so could grab the rails and lead all the way, the jockey booking, with a win ratio of 23% on the stables older horses, makes me think that the connections expect it to go one better than when finishing 2nd last time out.
