5:30 Newcastle Racing Tips (30th June)

PLEASE NOTE TODAY'S SPRINTS ARE NOT RACES TO BE BETTING IN TOO HEAVILY SO KEEP STAKES TO A MINIMUM LEVEL.

NEWCASTLE 5.30

5F Class 5 14 Runners Little Muddy has had 1 previous run on an artificial surface it was at this course but over 7 furlongs, it has won twice this year from its 4 runs on turf so I'm not sure whether to back this one or not, Blazing Hot is my top rated using a Southwell rating so might be worth an each way interest, Run This Way and Elzaal will both be trying to run on nearing the finish and either could make the frame, Murbih is one of 3 front runners I can find in this race and if getting to the front it could prove hard to catch. This isn't a race I will be betting very heavily in but I might go with backing both MURBIH 33/1 (EW) and BLAZING HOT 20/1 (EW) especially if they are double figure prices and then they will be each way bets.

Blazing Hot 50/1 Unp -2pts
Murbih 40/1 Unp -2pts

Total -4pts

NEWCASTLE 6.00

5F Class 2 14 Runners I can see 4 front running types and it might be a race to win from the front, Mondammej keeps running well without winning and seems in the grip of the official handicapper so I'm not sure it can win this race but it did run well last time out on turf recording a fastish time and did run in better company last year, I'm not sure I can pinpoint anything worthwhile laying, Korker is making its debut on an artificial surface and if able to reproduce its best turf rating it would win this race a shade cosily but does sometimes hamper itself but being slowly away but this stiff course could help its cause, Fine Wine in stall 2 and Bedford Flyer in stall 12 are both front running types and my joint 2nd top rated so either of them could win the race from the front with probably the latter fancied more because of the high number draw bias. I might go with dutching KORKER 17/2, FINE WINE 13/2 and BEDFORD FLYER 15/2 to small stakes.

Korker 10/1 2nd -1pt
Fine Wine 12/1 3rd -1pt
Bedford Flyer 15/2 Unp -1pt

Total -3pts

NEWCASTLE 8.52

6F Class 6 14 Runners I can find 3 possible pacesetters in this race, Eldeyaar who doesn't seem to like this tough straight course maybe without a bend they go too fast for it so one to lay if of value to do so, Fantasy Navigator who hasn't shown much form wise lately and this surface might not be its favoured one, and Muddy Lynn who hasn't run before on an artificial surface, so I doubt the race will be won from the front. I will look to lay Enderman who is 0-11 on the AW tracks and Impressor who can struggle to stay the distance when there's a fast early pace. Yazaman and Dream Together could run well here being my joint 3rd top rated horses, Laertes hasn't run on this surface before but if it is capable of reproducing its Chelmsford rating it would win this race cosily so will be carrying some of my money as will Angel Amadea who is my top rated on just this surface ratings. Its not a race to be getting too heavily involved in and whether it will be best to go with a lay bet or a win bet in this race I'm not sure maybe the betting will help me make that decision..... I might go with backing both LAERTES 10/1 (EW) and ANGEL AMADEA 16/1 (EW) to small stakes and if they are each way prices then all the better as it is a hard race to analyse properly.

Angel Amadea 16/1 Unp -2pts
Laertes 10/1 Unp -2pts

Total -4pts

Total on the day 11pts

PS:- REMEMBER ALL 3 SPRINTS TODAY HAVE BEEN VERY HARD TO ANALYSE TO A CONFIDENT CONCLUSION SO KEEP STAKES TO A MINIMUM
