1:45 Haydock Racing Tips & Lay Bets (25th June)

PLEASE READ

Today they get the going wrong again, neither Hamilton nor Haydock was good and good to soft in places which enforces why you should check the going with your own eyes before having a bet.

HAYDOCK 1.45

A very competitive class 2 sprint and i do hope the going is good or firmer, i will look to lay 3 horses that all might struggle to stay the distance if theres a fast early pace (*Camacho Chief + Top Breeze + Celsius) i would lay others but only if the going is good to firm, i will still have to dutch 3 runners in an attempt to find the winner, BURIDAN 10/1 (EW)  is my 3rd top rated but only 3lbs below my top rated and this one might be the one that sets the pace so worth an each way punt at the price, BARBILL 14/1 (EW) is 2nd top rated on my own unique speed figures, this one has good jockey stats with a 29% win rate on the stables older horses but the trainers record is 0-20 at this course with their older horses so not sure what to expect but again maybe worth an each way bet at the price, my top rated is *STAXTON 10/1 (EW) so another worth an each way wager who recorded a good time on its last run at Newmarket so even though it finished 7th it showed its in decent form, so i will be dutching the 3 selections with each way bets.

*NR

Barbill 14/1 1st EW +16.8pts
Buridan 25/1 EW  6th (-2pts)

Lay bets: Top Breeze +1pt, Celsius +1pt

Total 16.8pts

LEICESTER 4.55

If the going is good to firm then I would lay both Burtonwood and Atyaaf, Teepee Time is the likely pacesetter and my 3rd top rated and could do enough to make the frame, Qaaraat is my 2nd top-rated and this one has been running well of late without winning and I'm not sure its one to rely on with any certainty, the one I think is probably the value call is MONARCH MAID 7/1 who will be staying on strongly at the finish and hopefully strong enough to register the win.

Monarch Maid 9/1 5th (-1pts)

Total -1pt

BATH 5.10

There's plenty of early pace on show in this dash but I think they will be setting the race up for a finishing type, maybe Coronation Cottage will do best of those at the head of affairs and could even stay long enough to make the frame, Essaka is my 2nd top-rated and will be staying on at the finish, I will be backing the topweight INDIAN SOUNDS 5/2 who finished 2nd last time out and this is a drop-in class and has what looks a positive jockey booking and it should be able to go one better here.

Indian Sounds 5/2 1st (+2.5pts)

Total +2.5pts

LEICESTER 5.55

I will look to lay (Requinto Dawn) who can find this trip a bit too far for it, there is a niggle in this race with no known frontrunners but I guess something will change its usual tactics and go off from the front, Case Key is my 3rd top-rated and likes to track the leaders, Mutabaahy is my 2nd top-rated but this one is a hold-up type who likes to come with a late rattle but again my money will be riding on the topweight COOL SPIRIT 33/1 (EW) who has had a run this month to hopefully blow the cobwebs away and now dropped in class it can get back to winning ways and I am amazed at the price on offer so an each-way bet at such a big price.

Cool Spirit 50/1 9th (-2pts)

Total -2pts

Total on the day: +16.3pts
