7:00 Chemsford Racing Tips (8th November)

CHELMSFORD 7.00

A 5 furlong dash where 5 of the 12 runners have been known to lead before but it sure looks a race to me where they will be setting it up for something coming from off the pace. Of the possible pacesetters the 3yo *Thank The Lord 13/2 could do best and could make the frame if others falter, I don't think it can hold on for the win so it might be worth laying the win part only. *Kerkyre Island 6/1 races as though further would suit it better so this race could well be run to suit it but it would still need to improve a few spots to hold on for the win unless allowed an easy lead which I very much doubt so might be worth laying if of value to do so. Enchanted Night 9/1 is still a maiden after 19 runs but has been known to record a good rating and should be trying to stay on at the finish. Lesha 9/2 is my 2nd top rated but its been 74 runners and 267 days since the stable last had a winner but it could feasibly still make the frames I don't do my ratings and data for places just the wins. My money will be riding on *SHAMSHON 8/1 who has been running ok lately and made the frame 2 runs ago when finishing 2nd and has been found an opportunity to go one better here and it has decent trainer/jockey stats making me think connections are expecting a big run in this race.

CHELMSFORD 8.30

Another dash but this time with 9 runners but once again 5 of them have been known to lead before but this time I think it might be won from the front as my top 2 ratings are both possible pacesetters that's as long as they don't go off too fast and then fade badly nearing the finish. I have a feeling that this distance is a bit too short for Zim Baby 7/1 to how its true worth and might be worth laying if a single figure price, Jack The Truth 14/1 is my 3rd top rated but could do best of those coming from off the pace but I'm not sure if I could back it to win this race and its recent form has been quite poor so maybe not even worth the risk of backing it each way. The Defiant is capable of producing a good rating and is my 2nd top rated but this is a class 4 race and this runner has never won at this level before and if of value to do so might even be worth laying the win part. My money will be riding on LUCKY AVA 10/1 (EW) who is a front running type so stall 2 should be ideal and the apprentices 7lb claim makes it my top rated it is a course and distance winner although the stable isn't in the best of form recently i think it looks the value call in the race especially if its an each way price.
