1:15 Chepstow Racing Tips & Lay Bets (3rd July)

CHEPSTOW 1.15 

Just in case the going is good or firmer I will say my bets and lays for this race, I will look to lay (Pastfact 3 points + Mad Endeavour 2 points + Crimson Princess 3 points + Bold Decision 1 point) I think this race will be won from the front, bothKinglami and Creek Harbour are possible frontrunners and have the exact same rating on my figures so could make the frame but my money will be on JAGANORY 12/1 (2 points each way) who is versatile with its racing tactics and that includes leading but it the make-up of this race it could lead from stall 3 but then again it could sit in just behind the leaders waiting to pounce and prove the stronger at the finish.

WOLVERHAMPTON 7.30

In this 10 runner race I have marked 6 down as possible lays (Kyllachy Castle 2 point lay + *Valley Belle 1 point lay + Alba Del Sole 2 point lay + Chillon Castle 1 point lay + Potters Question 1 point lay + Simba Samba 1 point lay) my money will be riding on POPPY MAY 8/1 (3 points win) who is the only one known as a frontrunning type and could lead all the way here but One One Seven has a speed figure 1 spot higher but would need everything to fall right for it to pick up the leader if it repeats its best time.

WOLVERHAMPTON 8.00

Of the 8 runners here I will look to lay (Camachess 3 points lay + John Joiner 2 points lay) going back to 2018 Krystallite would have every chance but its 4 runs since then at this c/d have been poor so maybe best left alone, Precious Plum who has been known to lead is my 4th top-rated with Solar Park sitting in 3rd top position and this one will be trying to stay on at the finish, I've got joint top-rated, firstly Shepherds Purse who actually finds this trip a little too short for it to show its best but should be staying on but will need everything to go in its favour just to dead-heat this race if DARK SIDE DREAM 9/1 (2 points win) leads and runs to its best and this is one carrying my money.

4:00 Chepstow Racing Tips (22nd August)

CHEPSTOW 4.00 (7.5) 

Rather surprisingly there's only one known frontrunner in this 5 furlong race unless one of the 3-year-olds adopt that tactic which means any stakes will be kept on the low side of things, Secret Potion and Compton Poppy are capable of running decent races but my top 2 ratings are Spot Lite who is top on just 2019 times and 2nd top on overall times but its losing run of 14 does put me off somewhat, if they decide to let *JAGANORY 12/1 set the pace here it could lead all the way especially with an easy lead, its best time of 2018 was recorded over this c/d although it hasn't shown much so far this year it hasn't had ideal conditions before so I'm hoping today is the day it get backs to winning ways.

LEICESTER 8.00 (8.2) 

There's only 1 frontrunner in this race but this one is over 6 furlongs, Scuzeme is that horse and its 4th best on my figures and could easily make the frame if allowed to set the pace, Evening Attire is 3rd best but only by 1lb so would need a perfect run to make the frame if others reproduce their best, I've got joint top-rated horses here, Mutabaahy isn't well drawn in stall 11 and its on a losing run of 19 which tilts me into siding with LUCKY BEGGAR 7/1 in this race, this one does like real good to firm going and if getting the right conditions it will be carrying my money.

1:45 Bath Racing Results (21st August)

BATH 1.45 (7.7) 

A big field of 17 runners and quite a few are relatively unexposed sorts who could prove in time or maybe even here to be better than they have shown so far and the only positive could be if JAGANORY 10/1 can either lead or at least contest the lead as it is my top rated using 2019 times and its best was recorded over this course and distance and could be worth a small each-way punt at the double-figure price

BATH 3.25 

Quite close at the top of my figures, the pacesetters are my 4th, 5th and 6th top-rated so there should be a true run race, Secretfact is 2nd top on 2019 times with a rating of 91, Line Of Reason comes out 2nd best on overall figures with a rating of 92 but hasn't been that good so far this year but top-rated overall on 93 is THE DALEY EXPRESS 5/1 who likes to track the leaders and then stay on the stronger at the finish.
