3:15 Epsom Racing Tips (27th August)

EPSOM 3.15 (7.5)

Only 7 runners but 3 of them have some chance of winning the race and I will have one main bet and 2 covering bets, my covering bets will be on DIZZY G 5/1 who could lead here and then prove hard to catch but maybe a better horse in a slightly lower class of race, and the 3-year-old THE GREATESTSHOWMAN 7/2 who produced a good time at Windsor but the trainers 0-5 record at this course causes me some concern, my main bet/money will be riding on POYLE VINNIE 7/2 who did its best time at Goodwood so this course should suit it ok and its been running in class 2 races and drops to class 3 to compete here.

The Greatestshowman 7/2 4th
Dizzy G 9/2 5th

RIPON 4.05 (8.2)

A strange looking race especially for a class 4 affair, there's 3 natural front runners and 2 others that can lead if needs must, the 3 at the bottom of the handicap can produce fast times but also have negatives against their names in the make-up of this race which makes me doubt if they can actually win this race but never say never, my money in this race will go onto BIG LES 5/1 who has only run twice this year both times, not at its preferred distance, it ran on well over 5 furlongs last time out and now upped in distance I'm hoping its ready to repeat its best speed figure from 2018.

Big Les 8/1 8th

MUSSELBURGH 7.00 (7.6)

A decent-sized race with 14 runners which on the whole are a poor-looking lot but there's still a winner amongst them somewhere and in this instance I will go with backing BRONZE BEAU 11/1 who is a front running sort and led last time out on softish going and faded as I would have expected but if the going here is g/f then it could lead all the way.

Bronze Beau 18/1 Unp

BATH 7.50 (7.7)

Only 7 runners in this class 5 race but there is a couple that has led before so it should be a true run affair, Thegreyvtrain is one of the pacesetters and its 3rd best on this years times but it seems to be a better horse in class 6 races, Haveoneyerself is top-rated on this years times but it might prefer a flatter track like Yarmouth so I'm not convinced it can repeat its best times at this course, my pennies will be on PERFECT CHIME 7/2 who I think can lead from start to finish and has good trainer/jockey stats making me think connections are expecting a big run here.

Perfect Chime 9/1 7th
