12:50 Newcastle Racing Tips & Lay Bets (3rd September)

NEWCASTLE 12.50

To be honest there's quite a lot of horses that could go really well in this race and it wont take much winning but first a couple of lays (Lincoln Red + Arnold) I wouldn't persuade anyone who decided to leave this race alone to take the gamble but I will be betting in the race, to small stakes, on 3 horses for various reasons, STAR CRACKER 8/1 in stall 5 is one of 4 known front runners in the race its not been in good form lately but its best time from 2019 would be enough to win this race, another that could go well from the front and drawn in stall 13 is ROCKLEY POINT 8/1 then I've got to add GUNMAKER 7/1 into the mix, this one likes to track the leaders and then stay on strongly so from stall 7 it should get a good tow into the race.

Gunmaker 10/1 8th (-1pt)
Star Cracker 14/1 Unp (-1pt)
Rockley Point 12/1 Unp (-1pt)

Lay bets: Lincoln Red +1pt, Arnold +1pt

Total: -1pt

NEWCASTLE 4.45

Six of the 14 runners have been known to lead before and this race might well be won from the front, I would look to lay (Not On Your Nellie) who is a 3yo so i might have got this one wrong but I will stick with my analysis and think this surface might not suit it and on the early tissue prices its forecast to be one of the favourites, Be Proud and Royal Brave could run well in this race and both will be trying to stay on at the finish my money will be riding on BOUDICA BAY 6/1 who is known as a front running type and the trainer has a 21% win rate at this course with their older horses.

Boudica Bay 8/1 8th (-1pt)

Lay bet: Not On Your Nellie +1pt

Total: 0pts

CHELMSFORD 8.20

There's 4 known front runners in this race and will hopefully set it up for a horse coming from off the pace, I cannot find anything of value to lay here, Never Dark, Summit Fever and Global Prospector could battle for the lead and possibly manage enough to make the frame but I will be backing COWBOY SOLDIER 7/1 who is a hold up type and is dropped in class to run in this race.

Cowboy Soldier 8/1 2nd (-1pt)

Total: -1pt

Total on the day: -2pts

2:35 Lingfield Racing Tips & Lay Bets (15th February)

LINGFIELD 2.35

Just the essentials for each race with so many races to cover, I will look to lay (Tinto) my 4th top-rated is Mohareb who has been known to lead before and this 4 year could still be able to improve, Merhoob another possible pacesetter is my 3rd top-rated but maybe Lady Dancelot from stall 2 can get out and take control on the rails as it's my 2nd top-rated but I will be backing KACHY 4/5 who will be settled in behind the leaders ready to pounce as the line looms but I will be very surprised if it's not an odds on favourite but it can bolster a multi bet.

Kachy 4/5 PU

Lay bet: Tinto (+1pt)

Total 0

LINGFIELD 3.10

There's a couple of horses I will look to lay, (Jack The Truth + Zac Brown) the bottom-weight Something Lucky is capable of a fast time but usually, in a lower class race than this one, Momtahil is my 2nd top-rated and could be a danger but I will be backing GREEN DOOR 7/2 who is my top rated and I am hoping can lead from start to finish here.

Green Door 7/2 2nd

Lay bets: Jack The Truth (-6pts) Zac Brown (+1pt)

Total -6pts

NEWCASTLE 6.30

A full house of 14 runners in this class 5 race and to be honest it's hard to confidently narrow it down as there's different speed figures on different surfaces, I have 3 that will look to lay (Gamesome + Desert Ace + Airwaves) to make sure of a small profit even my selection doesn't win, Spirit Power is outside my top 3 on just 2019/20 c/d times but had a time from Kempton that would make it top rated but maybe this course doesn't suit it as well but it does have good trainer + jockey stats which may be a pointer to connections expecting a big run here, Big Lachie has a 2018 time that would see it make the frame, Rumshak could set the pace and then become a danger, Mutabaahy has a 7lb claiming apprentice riding which puts it in the mix, my money will be riding on the top-weighted TATHMEEN 5/1 who won last time out and has been found a good chance to follow up.

Tathmeen 5/1 3rd

Lay bets: Gameson (+1pt) Desert Ace (+1pt) Airwaves (+1pt)

Total +2pts

NEWCASTLE 8.00

With 3 known front-running types it should be a true run affair, its hard to find something to lay in this race and just as hard to narrow it down to less than three selections which I will look to dutch, Calin's Lad has an interesting jockey booking but would need to improve timewise to win this race, I KNOW HOW 4/1 is my 3rd top-rated and another with a positive looking jockey booking, LUCKY LODGE 7/1 is my 2nd top-rated and again it's one with a positive looking jockey choice and I have to include my top-rated *ORIENTAL LILLY 11/1 and being a hold-up type that likes a strong pace to aim at this race could be run to suit but I will be backing the 3 horses mentioned but may be tilted in favour of my top rated.

I Know How 4/1 1st
Lucky Lodge 7/1 4th

NEWCASTLE 8.30

Another full house of 14 runners and I can only find 2 horses to lay (*Strawberryandcream + Highland Acclaim) Olivia R will be staying on at the finish as will Dream Mount and both may be better over further but they both have very good jockey stats, timewise KOMMANDER KIRKUP 16/1, ZEBULON 9/1, GUNMAKER 3/1, and ONE ONE SEVEN 8/1 are all closely rated so I cannot split them although the latter would be the sole selection if its best time had come at this course instead of at Wolverhampton.

Zebulon 9/1 3rd
Kommander Kirkup 16/1 5th
One One Seven 10/1 6th
Gunmaker 3/1 Unp

Lay bets: High Acclaim (+1pt)

Total -3pts

Total on Day -4pts
