1:40 Chepstow Racing Tips (19th August)

CHEPSTOW 1.40 

Not a bad looking class 6 race but there isn't any known front running types amongst them and in this race I am hoping the early pace isn't a frantic one, Our Man In Havana has good jockey stats and comes out 4th best on my figures, in 3rd top spot I've got Knockabout Queen who has average trainer/jockey stats and could make the frame, I've got joint top rated horses in WIFF WAFF 6/1 and I'M WATCHING YOU 25/1 the former is held up for a late run while the latter usually runs in midfield or tracks the leaders and I will be backing the both of them with the latter being worth an each way interest at the price.

This is a tricky looking race where I have got 5 horses that all look to have some chance of winning this race, Oh So Nice is one of the 2 known front running types in the race but only comes out 5th of them, Toptime the other possible pacesetter comes out 4th of the five with winning chances so they may set the race up for something coming from off the pace, Alba Del Sole is 3rd top rated using a 2020 time recorded at Ripon but hasn't been in as good a form so far this year, Katherine Place is my 2nd top rated and once again its using a 2020 time this time from Lingfield my top rated horse AQUADABRA 25/1 is top rated using just 2021 times and has an even faster time from 2020 that also makes it my top rated on overall speed figures and I'm hoping this one will be an each way price as a bit of insurance.

I expect that Fernando Rah will set the pace to this race but time wise it only comes out in 5th top spot so may struggle to lead all the way, the bottom weight Lady Celia is capable of running a fast time but usually in lower class races than this one but could still go well, the 3yo Koolmoe Dee comes out 2nd best but that is using a time recorded at Bath in 2020 and this years best has been way below that standard, my top rated on 2021 times is HURAIZ 7/1 who recorded it over this course and distance but will have to bounce back to form from what its achieved in its recent runs and i am hoping it will be an each way price as a bit of insurance.

An 11 runner race with 2 known front runners, Tanfantic is one of them but would need to improve timewise to stay there till the end as its only 5th joint top rated on my figures the other frontrunner is SMEATONS LIGHT 13/2 who is my joint top rated on just 2021 times and 2nd joint top on overall times so it could be hard to catch and has decent trainer/jockey stats, TEMPLE BRUER 10/1 is the other joint 2nd top rated on overall figures and this one has even better trainer/jockey stats so it looks like both sets of connections are expecting big runs in this race but i do have EQUITATION 5/1 with a higher rating but this ones best time does come from 2020 in its defense though it hasn't any form on good or good to firm going recently so if fully fit it could win, so i will be dutching the 3 of them.

5:50 Wolverhampton Racing Tips (1st March)

WOLVERHAMPTON 5.50 

This should be a nice class 2 race but a poor turnout of just 6 runners ruins things, I think the early pace could be set by Major Jumbo who is having its 1st c/d run and needs to improve on its best Newcastle time to hold on for the win and is the outsider in the field, Aberama Gold 7/2 is 2nd top rated overall but hasn't run at this course before so looks a short price for a horse that's not proven over today's conditions, HURAIZ 3/1 is 2nd top rated on recent time but it was recorded at Newcastle and its another that hasn't run here before but has a time from Lingfield that would make it top on overall figures, my top rated on recent c/d times only is FIZZY FEET 3/1 who is usually held up for a late run so this race might be run to suit it and I will be backing them both in this race.

WOLVERHAMPTON 6.20 

This 5 furlong dash has 3 known front running types but is very competitive for the class, horses that could go well using some snippets of form are, Ballyare 11/2 who will be held up or race in the middle of the pack, The Daley Express 9/1 who can be held up for a late run or track the leaders and then try to stay on dourly at the finish, Agent Shiftwell 6/1 who is one of the possible pacesetters and Global Prospector 5/1 who is also one that likes to be to the fore in the early exchanges but none are what i would call each way prices, Zulu Zander 11/2 comes out 2nd top on recent c/d times and will be trying to stay on at the finish in this race so it should be thereabouts at the business end of the race but I am hoping YOU'RE COOL 5/1 can lead and in the make-up of this race stall 6 shouldn't be a problem and if does get to the front it could prove hard to catch and the apprentice jockeys 7lb claim can swing things further in its favour.
