5:30 Kempton Racing Tips & Lay Bets (5th September)

KEMPTON 5.30 

I can find negatives against 5 of the 9 runners so I will look to lay (Redemptive who looks poor value at 9/4 and may want further and the same applies to The Lamplighter 10/3) the others I think will be outsiders in the betting, Cappananty Con could set the pace here but is only 3rd top rated on my figures but could do enough to make the frame, I cannot split my final 2 horses, GRIGGY 8/1 is top rated on c/d times and has good trainer/jockey stats so has to have a good chance but if JOHNNY REB 14/1 can reproduce its best time from Chelmsford it would win this race and also has good trainer stats and the jockey is 1-6 on the stables older horses but it has run once on this surface which resulted in a slow time so I'm not really sure what to expect but I have to cover the angles. 

WOLVERHAMPTON 7.30 

Not a great race where I've only got a speed rating for 6 of the 13 runners and I will look to lay (Q Twenty Boy 6/1 and Elzaams Dream 15/2, the first one might find it too far with a fast early pace and the 2nd one might not like this surface) others that could go well in this race are, Kilconquhar but it hasn't been in good form so far this year and the same applies to Di Matteo, Bernies Boy hasn't shown much time-wise since 2018 but is taking on lower class opponents in this race, i have only found 2 horses that are known as front-running types and they are the pair I will be backing, QUAINT 6/1 is a 3yo so could improve further and does have the fastest c/d time from just 2020 which is always a positive but PEACHEY CARNEHAN 16/1 is better drawn and the jockey does have a 19% win rate for this stable and has times from both 2019 and 2018 that would make it my top rated.

6:50 Wolverhampton Racing Tips (30th September)

WOLVERHAMPTON 6.50 

Quite a poor race with only 3 of the 13 runners having a time fast enough to register on my figures, there is a couple of known front running types in the race and they are both in my top 3 so a lot of these could struggle to get involved here, Tavener in stall 6 is a possible pacesetter it comes out 2nd top overall but that figure was from 2018, Billyoakes is my original top-rated on just 2019 times and 3rd best overall despite this surface not looking to be its favoured, in top spot on both this year times and overall is PEACHEY CARNEHAN 7/2 and the 7lb claiming apprentice could swing things more in its favour and has a 1-3 record for the stable, if this one gets to lead or contest the lead it could prove hard to catch for most of these although I did expect it to be a bit bigger in price, probably about 5/1, but a winners a winner.

WOLVERHAMPTON 7.20 

In this dash there's 3 that look the likely pacesetters and ACCLAIM THE NATION 4/1 is one of them and it is my original top-rated by 4lbs and if getting to the front it could prove hard to catch for the majority of this field but with *A SURE WELCOME 5/1 being ridden by a 5lb claiming apprentice it moves to top spot by just 1lb and this one likes to track the leaders and then it should be trying to stay on strongly at the finish but for the sake of just 1lb I'm going to have to back them both to cover the angles although I won't be getting rich at the prices backing them both but again a profit is a profit.

2:40 Sandown Racing Tips (30th August)

SANDOWN 2.40 (7.7) 

A lot of sprints for me to analyse today so have to keep things fairly brief for each race, this is a very tight little handicap, Our Oystercatcher could be the one setting the pace and is my 3rd top-rated it could prove hard to catch for most, Spanish Star comes out 2nd best so could make the frame but my money will be on SECRETFACT 5/1 obviously my top rated and it has good trainer and jockey stats.

THIRSK 3.40 (7.9)

A field of 17 so my stakes won't be at full strength in this race, Roundhay Park is my 3rd best on a Doncaster time so could well if it can reproduce it on this more undulating course, Jawwaal sits in 2nd top spot and this one likes to track the leaders and its drawn in stall 17 while most of the early pace seems to be in those drawn low, top spot goes to TOMMY TAYLOR 12/1 who also did its best time at Doncaster and it does have to overcome a losing run of 17 races.

WOLVERHAMPTON 5.05

There's 13 runners with just 2 known frontrunners, Royal Connoisseur is well weighted on its best 2018 time but hasn't been in the same level of form this year, Always Amazing is top-rated on just 2019 times but its losing run of 22 is off-putting but could still make the frame, my top rated on my overall speed figures is PEACHEY CARNEHAN 16/1 who is also 2nd top on 2019 times and will be carrying some of my money.

THIRSK 5.45 (7.9) 

I'm not a fan of these amateur lady jockey races but VENTURA SECRET 10/1 has a few spots in hand on its best form BUT yes it is a big but, there's a couple of negatives against it, firstly its on a losing run of 21 and secondly the jockette who I think is the trainers daughter has only had 18 rides, all for the stable and hasn't won a race so far but I'm hoping it might be worthwhile having a small wager. 

Ventura Secret 11/1 Unp

HAMILTON 8.00 (7.4) 

There's quite a few that could make the frame but they may be all fighting for one or 2 places if my ratings are correct and they run to their best, Groundworker comes out 2nd top using its best time from 2018 at Thirsk but hasn't been near that figure so far this year but it proven capable when in the right mood but I will be backing the 3-year-old *HARD SOLUTION 7/1 who recorded its best time over this c/d this year and should be staying on resolutely nearing the finish of this race.
