1:30 Southwell Racing Tips (19th December)

SOUTHWELL 1.30 

I am still debating whether or not to bother with this race as I've only got one horse with a time fast enough to register on my graphs so I think the betting will decide for me if the three-year-old CHAMPAGNE MONDAYS 17/2 can reproduce its best figure it would be worth backing so I'm hoping for about 8/1 to be of value for me to bet.

SOUTHWELL 4.30 

Only 8 runners and four of them look to have very little chance of winning this race, Napping could be a bit of a hidden danger having won on g/s ground before but it hasn't won in 15 previous 15 races but none over this c/d, GLOBAL MELODY 11/2 is my top rated but this will be the apprentices first ride for the stable and its losing run of 12 are not ideal so have planted a seed of doubt in my mind while only Liamba 10/1 looks capable of pushing it but its a poor price in my opinion

WOLVERHAMPTON 6.30 

There's only a couple that looks out of their depth in this race and maybe four that I'm not sure what to expect of, Storm Over is my 3rd top-rated but its losing run of 10 does put me off somewhat while its record on AW tracks is quite good with 2 wins and 2 places from just 5 runs, the 3yo With Caution comes out 2nd top and it likes to track the leaders this one AW record of 3 wins and 3 places from 7 runs is quite impressive but my money will be riding on another 3yo in the shape of WHISPER ALOUD 15/2 who also has a decent record on AW tracks, the impressive 21% win rate of the trainer at this course and the jockeys 32% win rate of the jockey for this stable and if things go as I hope then it will be able to lead all the way.

WOLVERHAMPTON 7.00 

To be honest, this is one of the most competitive class 4 handicaps I have seen in quite a long time and I haven't got a major negative against any of them, with 4 frontrunning types in the race it should be a fast and furious affair, Zapper Class is my 4th top-rated and will be staying on at the business end of the race, I've got joint 2nd top-rated horses in Canford Bay who is versatile when it comes to its racing tactics and Tan who’s the best time came from 2018, my stake won't be at full strength but I will b backing TATHMEEN 9/2 who is another that will be staying on resolutely at the finish and I'm hoping the booked jockeys 1-3 win rate for this stable is a positive move and they are expecting a big run here.

WOLVERHAMPTON 7.30 

This looks decent for a class 6 race with just one known frontrunner who will probably set the pace from a stall 3 draw, Mansfield is 4th top-rated and will be trying to stay on at the finish and could run into a place, Brockey Rise comes out 3rd best but its losing streak of 12 races isn't confidence-inspiring, Billyoakes is a hold-up type of horse and comes out 2nd top on my figures but I will be putting my faith in SANTAFIORA 6/1 who likes to track the leaders so from stall 2 could get a good tow into the race and the jockey has an overall win ratio of 15% for this stable but it rises to 20% when riding the stables older horses.

3:15 Lingfield Winning Horse Racing Tips (23rd November)

LINGFIELD 3.15 

Ten runners in this 5 furlong dash and half the field have been known to lead before so it should be a fast and furious affair, the 3yo Mercenary Rose has got the plum draw in stall 1, Just That Lord, Green Door are other fast starters but not so well drawn in the make-up of this race, I will back 2 horses in this race, firstly I will be on FIZZY FEET 5/1 another possible pacesetter and stall 3 should be ok and if this one gets to the front it could prove hard to catch but if they go off too fast in the early stages and then tire late on then maybe SHINING 25/1 could be the one to prosper and the booked jockey has a good record for this stable so at the price I will back it each way.

WOLVERHAMPTON 4.10 

Quite a closely rated handicap but I can only find Aquarius that has been known to lead before, it would need to improve a few pounds to win this race on paper but if allowed to dictate its own pace then it could be very dangerous, Brockey Rise is my 3rd top-rated but is on a losing run of 10 races but it ought to be staying on at the finish, Billyoakes is always capable of running a big race but stall 13 isn't ideal in this race so my money will be riding on SANTAFIORA 9/2 who has been found a decent chance to follow up its win last time out and with a positive looking jockey booking I think it should go well here.

WOLVERHAMPTON 5.10

This 11 runner class 5 affair has plenty of early pace so it should be a true run race, maybe Tonis A Star could do best of the frontrunners but stall 11 isn't ideal but it could be fast enough away to get across to the rails, Awsaaf comes out 3rd best on my speed figures and usually likes to track the leaders and then stay on strongly at the finish but maybe too late in this race, my 2nd top-rated is Three Little Birds and this one also likes to track the leaders in the early stages of a race, once again my money will be on a horse that won its last race QAARAAT 5/1 who can track the leaders or be held up, its drawn in stall 10 here and could get a good tow into the race if the stall 11 horse tracks across to the rails mine could follow and then sit in a handy position to attack and stay on the stronger at the finish.

4:40 Kempton Racing Tips (23rd October)

KEMPTON 4.40 

With four 3yo’s in a field of 10 nothing is certain any of them could suddenly improve but lets hope its not in this race, Spot Lite is well drawn in stall 1 and has been known to lead before and comes out joint 3rd best on its best run from 2018, Knockout Blow is 2nd top rated on 2019 c/d times and joint 3rd top overall, Edged Out 10/3 is the other known frontrunner in the race and it has only had 1 run on any AW track and its time at Lingfield would make it my 2nd top rated but it is on a losing run of 18 which is off putting while the jockeys 3lb claim makes it joint top rated so it could go very well from the front if taking to this surface, my top rated on 2019 times and joint top overall is KATHERINE PLACE 5/1 who’s trainer has a 2-7 win rate with their older horses and the jockey is 1-4 on those older horses so has to carry my money, I was going to back 2 horses just in case the frontrunners got an easy lead but at the prices I will back the one with the proven form over this c/d.

WOLVERHAMPTON 6.55 

This race sure wont be carrying much of my money as there are too many 3yo’s or lightly raced types in the race, Dodgy Bob could set the pace from stall 2 but its not won in its last 31 runs and another drawback being that its had 20 runs on the AW tracks before without ever winning but it may make sure a lot of these don't/can't get involved in the race but I will be having a wager on SANTAFIORA 4/1 who likes to try and track the leaders and then stay on strongly at the finish and from stall 3 could get a good tow into the race and may have been found an opportunity to end its losing run of 10 races, i was hoping for a much bigger price so I could go each way as the Sporting Life predicted tissue price was 16/1 and to be honest I'm not sure its value at this price so I will hope it drifts to over 5/1 so I can lay it or if not back it place only on one of the exchanges.

It's very close at the top of my speed figures for this race, with 3 known frontrunners in the race anything that struggles to go the early pace will get outpaced and then not be able to claw back the deficit, Secretfact comes out joint 2nd top on its best time from 2018 and has only been 4lb below that level this year, joint 4th top-rated is Canford Bay and Powerful Dream, my other joint 2nd top-rated is the 3yo Show Me The Bubbly who likes to track the leaders but may need a degree of luck from stall 7 in the make up of this race, the one that will be carrying my money is JOEGOGO 11/2 who is the one from stall 3 that I think will be able to lead and gain control of the rails and then repel any late challengers and register an all the way win.
