12:45 Wolverhampton Racing Tips (6th January)

WOLVERHAMPTON 12.45

This isn't the greatest of races and there's not a lot to say about most of the runners, there is 3 horses known to lead and the race could well be won from the front, firstly I will look to lay (Arzaak 4/1 + Jumira Bridge 9/2) as I don't think this is either of their favourite surface, the latter could attempt to lead but maybe not be able to here, my money will be riding on SUPER JULIUS 7/2 who in the make-up of this race might be able to get to the front and if getting there it could prove hard to catch.

Super Julius 7/2 2nd (-1pt)

Lay bets: Jumira Bridge -3pts, Arzaak +1pt

Total: -3pts

KEMPTON 6.45

Only 6 runners in this class 2 Conditions race but none of them are known as front runners so I just hope its a true run affair, Brian The Snail comes out top rated on just 2020 c/d times but that's only good enough for 3rd top spot overall, my top 2 both recorded their best times at Lingfield which is the same surface as here, Gulliver is my 2nd top rated but did record a good time here before but that was way back in 2017 so not sure how significant that is nowadays and its best Lingfield time came in 2019 so my money will be riding on ABERAMA GOLD 5/2 who likes to track the leaders and then stay on strongly at the finish.

Aberama Gold 3/1 5th (-1pt)

Total: -1pt

KEMPTON 7.15

Quite a nice looking class 4 race, firstly I will look to lay (Equitation 6/1) as its not been in great form and may prefer a longer distance, Owney Madden comes out 4th top on my figures but that is using a time from Chelmsford, Ghaith is my 3rd top rated and this ones best time was recorded over this c/d but in 2019 and it 2 previous c/d runs have seen it make the frame but no wins, in 2nd top spot sits Global Warning 2/1 but it doesn't look any value at the price so I will be siding with the front running BOWLING RUSSIAN who is my top rated using a Lingfield time in 2020 and it is well drawn in stall 2 for one that likes to lead.

Bowling Russian 18/1 7th (-1pt)

Lay bets: Equitation +1pt

Total: 0pts

Total on the day: -4pts

2:40 Musselburgh Racing Tips (28th August)

MUSSELBURGH 2.40 (7.6)

A hard race for my 1st sprint of the day and I will concentrate on my top 4 ratings, I've got DAPPER MAN 13/2 a possible pacesetter who has good trainer stats but the jockey who has been doing well for this stable is riding something else and the replacement jockey has a poor 0-13 record but it could be a ploy to throw people off the scent and the other front runner is *SUPER JULIUS 9/2 who is being ridden by that jockey and he has a good 27% win rate for this stable, now to the 2 that should be staying on at the finish if they are on a going day, EAST STREET REVUE 16/1 is top rated overall using its best Ripon time from 2018 but below that level so far this year hence the big price, the other staying on type is DIAMONIQUE 7/1 a 3 year old who did its best time this year at Ripon...im hoping I can dutch all 4 to make a profit but maybe tilted in favour of the 2 front running types as it looks to me as though they have plans afoot and im not completely sure which one will be the more fancied horse in this race.

East Street Revue 16/1 2nd
Dapper Man 13/2 4th
Diamonique 10/1 Unp
*NR

CATTERICK 4.55 (8.4)

Not a great race and the 2 I give the best chance of winning this race are both on double-figure losing runs so my stakes won't be at full strength but I will be having small bets on both horses, EXTRASOLAR 8/1 and VALLARTA 12/1 they can both be either held up or track the leaders but who will set the pace I haven't a clue but I'm hoping there will be some value in the betting and have 2 each way punts to hopefully make a profit but my stake won't be at full tilt.

Vallarta 12/1 3rd
Extrasolar 8/1 8th
