1:50 Newmarket Racing Tips (14th April)

NEWMARKET 1.50

A nice looking class 2 handicap and a couple that have been known to lead, Going Places only seems to lead if nothing else wants to so may not have to lead here and it may be better over further so may not even be able to lead and it may be one i will look to lay if it is of value to do so, two others I will look to lay if of value are Stone Circle and Gunmetal, the former may also prefer a longer trip and the latter who is actually my 2nd top rated, may be outclassed at this level and it doesn't want the going to be too firm, Additional is the one I think will set the pace and could be very dangerous if allowed a soft lead but then again it might need this run for fitness, I couldn't back or lay this one, I think Dazzling Dan has a chance to make the frame even though its only 4th on my figures, I will split my stakes in this race backing both CHIL CHIL 8/1 who ha a decent time from 2020 but it is a 2019 time that makes it my 3rd top rated and this one has a positive looking jockey booking it has a break to overcome but has one after a break before, the other bet is COUNT OTTO 10/1 who produced its best time last year over this c/d so I'm hoping it can do so again.

Count Otto 10/1 1 Point Win 1st +10pts (Betfair SP 11.12) CSF £68.44
Chil Chil 8/1 1 Point Win 2nd -1pt
Gunmetal 2 Points Lay +2 pts
Goin Place 1 Point Lay +1pt
Stone Circle 1 Point Lay +1pt

Total +13pts

BEVERLEY 4.00

I can only find 1 natural front runner in this 5 furlong dash, I will look to lay Muscika and Queens Order if a single figure price, Jawwaal, Ginger Jam, Music Society and Saluti all like to stay on at the business end of a race but all need to improve time wise if others run to their best, Nibras Again is capable of recording a good time but this one might be outclassed in this class 3 affair, my 2nd top rated is King Of Storms 9/2 and it could be the one to set the pace to the race and recorded its best time this year when winning at Bath so has to be respected and it could be the one for the forecast but I wasn't expecting it to be the favourite, I will be hoping that VICTORY ANGEL 10/1 can improve on its 4th place on its last run at Musselburgh and that's where it recorded its top time, so being this year it is another in good heart and as usual at the price I have to go with an each way wager.

Victory Angel 1 Point Each Way 1st +12pts (Betfair SP 8.4)
Queens Order 2 Points Lay +2pts
Muscika 1 Point Lay +1pt

Total on the day +28pts
