2:30 Kempton Racing Tips (19th December)

KEMPTON 2.30

INEVITABLE OUTCOME 3/1 has only a slow time to its name from two c/d runs and one of those races it won and its best overall figure is a bit below whats needed to win this race.

ENDURING 6/1 can lead if allowed to set its own slightly slower pace and time wise it needs to improve a good few spots to even make the frame.

IGOTATEXT 25/1 a possible front runner if it doesn't get outpaced which it just might here and time wise its a bit below whats required.

I AM A DREAMER 9/1 hasn't any c/d form to its name but has a good rating from Chelmsford but hasn't won in 7 previous AW attempts but could make the frame.

TYGER BAY 9/1 is usually held up for a late run but I doubt time wise it will pick up the leaders in time to win this race.

EQUITATION 13/2 slow times even when it won last time out so may be a shorter price that it merits and may need a longer trip to show its best.

LITTLE PALAVER 14/1 a possible pacesetter from stall 2 and could possibly gain control of the rails but I'm not sure it will lead overall or for not too long if it does get to the front.

ALBUM 10/1 a possible leader and stall 12 might not be as bad as it first seems which also applies to its form and it appears to be coming to hand.

NEFARIOUS 33/1 has poor recent form and it also might like a longer distance before it shows its true worth.

MOBARHIN 14/1 has shown very little lately and I doubt it will be good enough to win this race but never say never with a 3yo.

ANOTHER DAWN 8/1 won in a lower class race but may go well here but it does need to improve a few spots to win this race.

SUMMARY: This Class 5 race is hard to analyse mainly because some have good ratings but none of them at the top have been consistent after or before, I Am A Dreamer has poor trainer and jockey strike rate of 5%, Another Dawn is a 3yo so it could still improve but this is a slight step up in class so i am hoping that *ALBUM 10/1 who is top on a time recorded earlier this year at Chelmsford but has been in poor form since but had a break and has since had 2 runs on the AW tracks and I'm hoping its last run over an extra furlong has tunes it up for this race and i hope it is an each way prices.

1:00 Southwell Racing Tips (24th February)

SOUTHWELL 1.00

This race will evolve around Owhatanight 4/9 who has won its last 2 races and one of those wins was over this c/d but time wise both races were not fast enough to register on my figures and I expect it will be the hot favourite, it might win easily but I am definitely not backing it at an odds on price let alone under one to two, but that could leave me a value call in the race and hopefully it will be a double figure price, I expect Jazz Legend 6/1 to set the pace unless something else changes its usual race tactics and it could do enough from the front to hold on for a place and could be worth putting in a forecast with the selection and I quite like Josephine Gordon riding front running horses despite all this I will be putting my faith in the top weight PUCHITA 17/2 who has been running in better class races and this drop could see it back to winning ways plus connections have employed a 5lb claiming apprentice who has a 31% winning ratio for the stable and could be worth an each way investment.

Puchita 17/2 4th -2pts

SOUTHWELL 2.05

A poor turnout of just 5 runners for this class 2 race with nearly 12k to the winner both Ornate and King Of Stars are known to front run and I expect the former to do best of those two and it could steal the race if allowed an easy lead but that isn't easy on this straight 5 furlongs, the latter maybe outclassed at this level as might Mulzim, the top weight Lampang might need further to show its best but this surface has been running very slow lately so it should be staying on at the finish but I will be backing TAWNY PORT 9/1 who has won twice and been placed in its 3 runs over this c/d and they are using a 7lb claiming apprentice to help their cause and he has won on his only previous ride for this stable and I didn't expect it to be this generous in price.

Tawny Port 9/1 5th -1pt

SOUTHWELL 3.15

Quite a poor class 6 dash with half of the 8 runners having been known to lead before, one trainer has 3 runners, Tan with a jockey record of 0-29, Brandy Station with a jockey record of 0-8, so it makes me thing that RED STRIPES 10/3 could be the trier and this front runner is still capable on a going day, Red Allure is another that can run ok if in the mood but its best time came at Newcastle back in 2019, the top weight MOVEONUP 20/1 another front running type and with a 5lb claiming apprentice helping its cause has to have a decent chance of winning this race and at the price I have to go with an each way wager, I will be backing both selections but my stakes wont be at full strength.

Red Stripes 9/2 4th -1pt
Moveonup 20/1 6th -2pts

KEMPTON 5.15

This is very competitive race with quite a lot of conflicting ratings, there is 2 known front runners in Turanga Leela who comes out 2nd best and only 2lbs off top spot for recent c/d times and its best time was recorded this year, Album is the other possible pacesetter but has only ran once over this c/d where it didn't record a speed rating but its best time recorded at Chelmsford this year would make it my top rated overall, Winneetka is the one that is top rated on recent c/d figures and has finished 2nd in its last 3 races and could go one better here, Princes Des Sables hasn't any course form but does have a time from Lingfield that would see it just 3lbs below top spot overall, Jackstar will be trying to stay on at the finish but maybe too late for the win, Grey Galleon is one I would look to lay for the win part but it has been placed in 3 of its 4 c/d runs so it might be worth an each way interest, I will go with backing both TURANGA LEELA 14/1 in an each way punt at the price and ALBUM 11/4 who will try to set the early pace and they could lead all the way.

3:20 Wolverhampton Racing Tips (17th February)

WOLVERHAMPTON 3.20

A very competitive class 4 race but the lack of known front runners its going to be hard to analyse, a couple of them, Strong Power and Street Parade, can struggle to stay the trip if there's a fast early pace so they could go well here, Invincible Larne hasn't run on this surface before but its best time from Chelmsford would make it my top rated and would be dangerous if taking to the surface, Steelriver comes 2nd top rated on c/d times and the jockey has a 15% win ratio on the stables older horses so I expect it will go well but I think ALBUM 2/1 may be up to completing its hat trick but its a race where my stakes will be kept low and I do hate backing favourites especially in such a competitive affair.

WOLVERHAMPTON 4.20 Div I

This is the 1st division of a class 6 handicap, I will not be bothering with the 2nd division or the other 2 sprints at Wolverhampton mainly due to their not being much data to work with. If betting in this race, we recommend visiting Online Bookies to get some bookmakers reviews and offers before making a wager. Major Valentine and Mercury look likely to set the early pace the former may not really like this surface and the latter hasn't shown much time wise since 2019 but its best time from that year would see it make the frame, Mansfield is another with a good rating but again back in 2019 and has only slow recent times, DYLAN'S LAD 6/4 is my 2nd top rated but only 1lb off top spot behind KATELLI 9/2 they will both be trying to stay on strongly at the finish and being so closely rated it could come down to which one gets the clearest run when needed.

Katelli 9/2 2nd (-1pt)
Dylan's Lad 6/4 4th (-1pt)

KEMPTON 5.15

A nice class 2 race and I hope all 8 take part, (Ghaith) has 2 slow times over this c/d and looks as though further will suit it better and i would look to lay it in this race if a single figure price but I'm not hopeful, Nigel Nott maybe outclassed here and I guess the price will reflect that, Streamline comes out 3rd best overall using a Lingfield time and the last it had a time that registered on my figures over this c/d was recorded back in 2019, the early pace may be set by May Sonic who will need to improve time wise to win this race and PREMIER POWER 9/4 who is my 2nd top rated, that time was recorded in 2020 and has run well after a break before and if leading could be hard to catch it also has good trainer/jockey stats but just in case it needs the run for fitness I will also be backing BRIAN THE SNAIL 4/1 who has been in good form lately, winning its last race and also has a positive jockey booking.

1:10 Lingfield Racing Tips (4th January)

LINGFIELD 1.10

An eight runner dash where 5 of them have been known to lead so it should be fast and furious, the 2 I think will be outsiders, Stake Acclaim and Spirit Of May, may struggle to get involved in this race, Recon Mission 6/1 might be worth a lay if of value as I am not convinced it is up to winning in this class, Watchable 13/2 might do best of those coming from off the pace but maybe too late to win the race but could make the frame but isn't what I call an each way price, Royal Birth 11/4 has a win record of 4-12 over this c/d so cannot be dismissed out of hand and comes out 4th best on my figures but pricewise I think it is way too short, Ornate 9/2 sits in 3rd top spot so could also go well but once again it isn't an each way price, Lihou 4/1 comes out 2nd best but isn't ideally drawn in stall 8 and there's no value in backing it each way, I will be having a punt, hopefully an each way punt, on VERNE CASTLE 10/1 who looks the value call in the race and is a possible pacesetter and has the plum stall one draw and if getting control of the rails it could be hard to catch and as long as there is eight runners it would have to be given as an each way wager.

Verne Castle 10/1 2nd +1.5pts

Total: +1.5pts

WOLVERHAMPTON 4.50

Apart from Sarah's Verse at the bottom of the handicap and Fantastic Flyer who will both be biggish prices I cannot find anything else worthwhile laying, with an apprentice taking weight off the top weight Inevitable Outcome 9/4 it could run well here and is my top rated on just 2020 c/d times and is maybe a worthy favourite and I might have a covering bet on it just incase my selection doesn't do the business, Kraka 3/1 looks the one most likely to set the pace and the apprentice does well for this stable but the horses 0-3 record at this c/d is a bit off-putting but it could still do enough to make the frame but isn't an each way price, Bahuta Acha 16/1 is 2-8 over this c/d and could also go well so might be worth an each way bet, I am going to take a bit of a risk and put my money on ALBUM 9/1 who hasn't run on this surface before but its best time from Chelmsford in 2020 makes it my top rated overall and hopefully it will take to this surface it has good trainer, 17% and jockey 26%, stats so I think connections are expecting to win this race.
