3:50 Lingfield Racing Tips (16th August)

LINGFIELD 3.50 

An 8 runner race where half the field have been known to lead before so it should be a fast and furious dash and I think the race could be won from the front as long as they don't go mad trying to lead and spend too much of their energy and tire nearing the finish, firstly I will look to lay Sir Rodneyredblood, if its a single figure price, who may need further, Seneca Chief or Katelli could be the ones to prosper if they do go off too fast, I will be backing both GREEN DOOR 9/1 (EW) who recorded its best time in 2020 but hasn't run over this course and distance since then, it has been off the track for over 300 days but has won before after a break but just in case it does need the run I will also be backing THEGREYVTRAIN 14/1 (EW) who recorded its best time this year over this course and distance but the jockeys 0-9 record doesn't fill me with confidence so my stakes will be kept low and at the prices available, and as long as all 8 runners take part, then it has to be 2 each way wagers.

CATTERICK 4.35 

Another 8 runner dash where half of them have been known to lead and again I think the race can be won from the front, Orchid Rose is still a maiden after 9 runs and it also has poor trainer/jockey stats but it is capable of recording decent times but its usually when towed along with a fast early pace but its not for me in this race but it may fare best of those coming from off the pace, Refuge my 4th top rated and Captain Corcoran my 3rd top rated are both possible pacesetters but if the going is good to firm or faster then it might not suit the latter and I would lay the win part, I will be putting my money on AUCKLAND LODGE 8/1 who would be hard to catch if getting to the front.

With no known front runners in this race it might not be run to suit *Sara's Hope 7/1 so I will lay it if a single figure price, Bellevarde is capable of producing a fast time but its best form comes in lower class races which puts me off, I will be splitting my stakes between 2 runners, FREE LOVE 5/1 is my top rated on just 2021 times which is always a positive but I do have THE DALEY EXPRESS 7/1 rated higher but this ones best time comes from 2019 but its best time from 2021 would put it in 2nd top spot so they hold the top positions between them but without a known pacesetter my stakes will be kept low.

2:45 Doncaster Racing Tips (2nd July)

DONCASTER 2.45 

Only 7 runners with 3 of them being known to lead so it will be a true run dash, of the likely pacesetters the top weight Mountain Peak may do best of them as its my 3rd top rated using a time from 2020 recorded at Haydock and this is a similar course, Indian Sounds is my 2nd top rated on overall figures again using a 2020 time which was recorded at Bath and I was going to have a covering bet on this one but the trainers 0-14 in the past fortnight puts me off, Jawwaal comes out 2nd best if I just use 2021 times but it drops down to 4th on overall figures but FREE LOVE 10/1 who contested a Listed race on its last outing after running a fast time at Bath the run before that when finishing 2nd and it wasn't disgraced in Listed company so will appreciate being dropped back down in class to run here and the apprentices 3lb claim helps its cause even further.

I really do hope all 8 of the runners entered for this race take part so I can hopefully have an each way wager in this race, Liberty Belle looks the most likely front runner but it hasn't run over this distance on turf so if they think it might not stay the trip it might not go to the front from the off, with both Princess Power and Mid Winster racing as though they would prefer a longer trip they may well ensure there's a good early pace, Amor De Mi Vida is my 3rd top rated using a time recorded at Haydock this year and usually likes to track the leaders, the top weight Rose Hip comes out 3rd best on just 2021 times but has a time from 2020 that would make it my top rated by just 1lb but the trainers record here is 0-24 and the jockeys record is 1-14 which makes me think they have a future target in mind at a different type of course to this one, PORNSTAR MARTINI 8/1 comes out top rated, it won on its debut last year at on soft ground at Chepstow, it tried 6 furlongs on its 2nd run but tired about one furlong from home and finished last as the jockey stopped riding as soon as its chance had gone, its first and only run this year was on good to firm ground at Nottingham (so it should like this track as well) where it finished fifth of 6 runners but was only beaten 2 lengths in a time fast enough to make it my 2nd top rated overall but top on just 2021 times and the trainer has had 2 winners from 22 runners at this course but those 2 wins came from 9 runners that were 3yo’s.

12:15 Doncaster Racing Tips & Lay Bets (26th June)

DONCASTER 12.15 

Div1 There are quite a few of these runners who are out of form, Kick On Kick On, North Wind, Jumira Bridge, James Watt, and Marks Choice and could be lays if the going is good to firm plus there's plenty of early paced sorts in the race so I will look to lay (National Anthem + Abel Handy) who both like to lead but maybe not able to do so here, if Merry Banter gets to the front it could prove hard to catch for most of these, Choosey could try to lead but its best time was back in 2018, my money will be riding on FREE LOVE16/1 (EW)  who can either track the leaders or be held up for a late run and with plenty of early pace this race should be run to suits its style of racing and maybe worth backing each way.

DONCASTER 12.45 Div2 

As often the case I will start with those I will look to lay, (Saluti + Lathom + Jawwaal) I think the early pace will be set by Harome, in stall 9 and/or Wrenthorpe in stall 1, either could do enough to make the frame on a going day, my selection is CANFORD BAY 14/1 (EW) who can be held up or track the leaders and from stall 9 should get a good tow into the race and then prove the stronger at the finish and its a big enough price to have an each-way wager.

NEWMARKET 1.10 

This is a very competitive class 4 race and I will start with those I don't fancy and will look to lay (Chitra + Secretinthepark + Colonel Frank + *Machree + Erissimus Maximus + Excellent George) the early pace could well be set by PINK FLAMINGO 12/1 (EW) who starts off as my 2nd top-rated but the apprentices 7lb claim moves it to top spot but I know very little about them so not sure what to expect but if worth their 7lb claim then that could swing things in their favour but if not I will also have to back LINE OF REASON 12/1 (EW) who can be held up or track the leaders and will hopefully prove the stronger at the business end of the race but at the prices I will be having two each way punts.
