6:00 Chelmsford Racing Tips (16th September)

CHELMSFORD 6.00

Its a class 6 race and its very confusing without the fact there's no known front running types in the race, looking at the early tissue prices the 1st 3 in the betting are 2 of the horses i think have a good chance of winning its only the top weight La Roca Del Fuego 6/1 who I think might be a shorter price than its actual chance of winning but nothing is written in concrete in the basement level of horse racing, I would have looked to lay both Aces and Big Impact if there was some definite early paced sorts in the race as they can struggle to stay the trip with a fast early gallop although the former does have a decent time from Lingfield but has 2 slow times over this course and distance, Irish Times and The Tron have the best speed figures from just 2021 but neither have very good trainer and/or jokey stats and the jockey on the latter is 0-19 riding for today's stable, I will split my stake in this race with a win bet on PERFECT SYMPHONY 6/1 who I think will be to the fore of the betting and hopefully an each way wager on *MAID MILLIE 6/1 (EW) who hasn't shown much in its 4 runs this year but last time out did point to it coming to form and it has won twice before after being out of the frame on its previous run but I have to admit my stakes will be kept on the low side.

CHELMSFORD 6.30

What should be a nice class 2 race is spoiled by a poor turnout of just 6 runners where 2 of them are known as front running types and they happen to be my 2 top rated horses, I think the 3yo Inveigle 11/2 may be better when tried over a longer trip but this race could just be run to suit it, Soul Seeker 9/1 is making its debut on the AW tracks and would need to improve on its best speed figure from the turf, I've got Top Breeze 10/1 as my 2nd top rated but only 1lb below MAY SONIC 7/2 while the official speed figures make it the other way round by 2lbs and with them being so close it might be best to back the other one as a covering bet.

2:00 Chelmsford Racing Tips (31st May)

CHELMSFORD 2.00 Div I

Division one of a poor class 6 race but luckily there is a couple of known front running types in the race, its a hard race to find anything in a single figure price to lay so I will have to look for something to win the race, I think/thought that Nibras Shadow might be better over a shorter trip but it has good trainer 18% winners + jockey 15% winning stetson the stables older horses but I wont be backing it but it could run well if the early pace isn't too fast but I somehow doubt that will happen, Requited is one of the possible pacesetters and it comes out in 3rd top position on my figures, Agueroo comes out 2nd best but that is using a time from 2018 and hasn't shown much speed figure wise since then, my money will be riding on the one I think/hope can get away smartly and lead all the way and stall 1 is the perfect draw for ROCKESBURY 12/1 (EW) to implement its front running style and if repeating its best time from 2020 it would get back to winning ways and the price allows me to go with an each way wager.

CHELMSFORD 2.35 Div II

This sure isn't a race to be betting heavily in if betting at all, I have got negatives against 9 of the 12 runners but none of the 3 that are left on my list fill me with any confidence, I think the best way to make a profit in this race is by picking out 1 or 2 to lay but I cannot do that until I've seen the betting, Delegate The Lady comes out 3rd top on my figures and usually stays on nearing the finish over this distance but trainers 3% win ratio here doesn't inspire confidence while the jockey is 1-12 for the stable, TARSEEKN 22/1 (EW) is the only known front running type in the race and if allowed an easy lead it could go well especially as this race wont take much winning and might be worth an each way wager, my top rated is PERFECT SYMPHONY 50/1 (EW) who hasn't been in the best of form and the jockey is 0-6 for the stable but this horse is capable of hitting form without any warning so I am hoping to have 2 small each way bets in this race.

1:30 Lingfield Racing Tips (17th March)

LINGFIELD 1.30

A field of 12 for this class 6 race, I can see 3 horses that have been known to lead but all of them are double figure prices and would need to improve time wise to win this race, Secret Treaties ran well last time out when finishing 3rd and could run well again here, I will look to lay (Delegate The Lady 7/1) who is the tissue favourite but may need this run for fitness, it usually does after a break, it also likes to stay on at the finish but it might get caught out looking at the make-up of this race, I will be putting my faith and money in PERFECT SYMPHONY 14/1 who is my top rated using a time from Chelmsford and has won over this c/d and the apprentice jockey has an 18% win ratio on the stables older horses and as usual at the price I would have to suggest an each way wager.

Perfect Symphony 22/1 9th -2pts

Lay bet Delegate The Lady +1pt

Total -1pt

LINGFIELD 2.05

Only 7 runners but luckily there is three known front runners, Storm Melody comes out 3rd best on my figures but with only 2 places it cannot be given as an each way prospect, Clashaniska won nicely last time out and could improve but need to improve 7lbs if my selection reproduces its best rating from 2020, Rebel Redemption and Requited might try to set the pace but I think they will struggle to stay with CHAMPAGNE SUPERNOVA 6/1 in the early stages and this one if hitting the front should prove hard to catch.

Champagne Supernova 17/2 1st + 8.5pts (Betfair SP 11.78)

Total +7.5pts

KEMPTON 8.20

I hope all 8 runners take part as I am hoping I have found an each way wager for this race, Capotes Dream won last time out over this c/d but it was a slow run affair so it might be a shorter price in the betting because of that but it certainly is in form,Grey Galleon will be staying on at the finish and might do enough to make the frame, The Blue Bower and The Lamplighter both have a break to overcome and they are 3rd and 2nd top on my figures for recent, 2020/21 c/d runs, my selection PHUKET POWER 12/1 also has to overcome being off the course for awhile, my main reason for backing it is because its has been known to lead before when nothing else wants to and i cannot find a front running type in the race plus the jockey has a 21% win ratio on the stables older horses so lets hope it means connections are expecting their horse to at least run well here so I'm hoping I can make a profit with an each way punt.

5:10 Yarmouth Racing Tips (17th September)

YARMOUTH 5.10

I cannot find anything to lay confidently so I will concentrate on my top 3 ratings, in 3rd spot is Spanish Angel who usually races midfield before staying on at the finish, *SPIRITED GUEST 7/2 is top rated on 2020 times and likes to track the leaders before staying on resolutely nearing the business end of the race but MOKAATIL 7/1 has a time from 2019 that is just 4 spots higher and this one can be held up or track the leaders and I will have to back them both but maybe tilting in favour of the one that did its best rating this year, the only problem with this race is the lack of known pace setting types.

Mokaatil 7/1 5th (-1pt)

Total: -1pt

CHELMSFORD 5.30

Again a race where I'm not sure where the ealy pace will come from which always puts me on the backfoot, 4th top spot overall goes to Maid Millie but its 2020 time makes it 2nd best on just this years times, Phoenix Star is joint 2nd top but this ones best time did come from 2019 and hasn't shown much lately, the other joint 2nd top rated is Tomshalfbrother who recorded his speed figure this year so has to be considered as the winner but PERFECT SYMPHONY 12/1 has a time from 2019 that would see it winning cosily and the jockey booking looks a positive move as the 7lb claiming apprentice has a 2-5 record for the stable so at the double figure price on offer it has to be given as an each way wager.

Perfect Symphony 12/1 2nd (+2pts)

Total: +2pts

YARMOUTH 5.40

The top weight Prince Caspar could be a possible danger making its handicap debut but its time from the AW would need to be improved upon to win this race, the early pace could be set by Arzaak who is my 5th top rated and/or Tilsworth Rose who is my joint 2nd top rated, the other joint 2nd top rated is Wild Flower who likes to track the leaders and then run on at the finish but my money will be riding on SWELL SONG 6/1 who also likes to track the leaders and then stay on the stronger at the finish, its best time from 2020 puts it in top spot but has a 6lb faster time from 2019 but the jockeys 0-37 record for the stable is a little off-putting.

1:35 Kempton Racing Tips (3rd June)

KEMPTON 1.35

Theres 10 runners in this class 4 dash with 4 known as frontrunners, I will be looking to lay 3 horses (Han Solo Berger who might prefer further, Peggy Sue who might need either a longer trip or a slower surface and Kodiac Attack who looks to need a slower surface to show its best) looking for the winner is quite difficult, Griggy who has good trainer/jockey stats should be staying on strongly towards the finish of this race but maybe a little too late but could make the frame, May Remain has only poor AW form in the UK but it is one that likes to lead so could be dangerous but i couldnt back before it has shown some glimmer of form, Youre Cool is capable of winning this race and it likes to do so from the front and could be one i might dutch, Waseem faris has decent speed figures but its 0-16 record on the AW is enough to put me off its chances of winning but could still run a big race, the main one i will be backing is SPIRITED GUEST 5/1 who likes to track the leaders and then stay on strongly at the finish but is a race i wont be betting too heavily on.

Spirited Guest 5/1 6th

Lay bets: Han Solo Berge -4.5pts, Peggy Sue +1pt, Kodiac Attack +1pt

Total: -3.5pts

KEMPTON 5.40

I can only see Showmethewayavrilo who likes to set the pace and could, therefore, be a danger if allowed to set a slightly slower pace and then kick from the front and stall 2 looks ideal, I have found a few that I will look to lay (Dubai Elegance who may prefer a shorter trip, It Must Be Faith may prefer a slower surface, *Fly The Nest looks as though a longer trip would suit this one, Napping has only a slow time at this course and the jockeys 1-25 record on the stables older horses which looks a negative, Red Bravo is another that needs a slower surface while Glamorous Crescent is another that may prefer further) Fard hasn't any course form but cannot be discounted easily, my money will be riding on *PERFECT SYMPHONY 5/1 who can be held up or track the leader and is drawn in stall 4 so could get a good tow into the race.

4:00 Lingfield Racing Tips & Lay Bets (21st February)

LINGFIELD 4.00

Div I:

In this 1st division I can find 3 horses to lay (Roundabout Magic + *Impart + Stopdworldnletmeof) for various reasons, I would add Garth Rockett 7/1 to the list if I knew there would be a reasonably fast early pace which a lack of always makes a race harder to analyse, Vino Rosso and Sir Hector are joint 4th top-rated, Englishman would be joint 2nd top-rated but that is using a time from Chelmsford but has only a slow time when winning over this c/d but is in very good form so could go well again, Mercers is the other 2nd top-rated but this one does have poor trainer stats at this course 2-97 and the jockeys 0-3 is another possible negative but the apprentices 7lb claim would move it to top spot but I will be backing CHOCCO STAR 2/1 who won last time out and this looks a good opportunity to follow up here but the price isn't great and I don't like backing favourites but I guess a winners a winner.

LINGFIELD 4.30

Div II:

This 2nd division is another tricky race once again I can find 2 to lay (Fareeq + Hit The Beat) now that Alaskan Bay is a non-runner, with the poor trainer/jockey stats I could add Nautical Haven 5/1 to the lay list but this one could possibly be the one to set the pace and if allowed an easy lead it could prove dangerous, Disruptor is top-rated on just 2019/20 c/d times but the jockeys 0-14 on the stables horses on the AW tracks is a little off-putting, Mont Kiara has a decent speed figure but that was from Chelmsford but it is versatile with its racing tactics, my money will be riding on my top rated horse PERFECT SYMPHONY 7/2 who only has a slow time over this c/d but its best time from Chelmsford takes it to top spot and the apprentices 7lb claim is what swings me towards this horse and the jockey does have a good record when riding for this stable.

4:05 Lingfield Racing Tips & Lay Bets

LINGFIELD 4.05

A 10 runner race with no known frontrunners in the field, usually means it's hard to analyse how things will turn out during the race, with no early pace then I would look to lay The Groove who may need further to shine, Knockabout Queen hasn't any course form but could dangerous after winning last time out, both Seraphim and Kath's Lustre are capable of running big races and could battle to make the frame, my top rated on just 2019/20 c/d times is Aguerooo who I admit isn't ideally drawn in stall 9 but could go well if getting a clear run when needed but its losing run of 10 shows how hard it is to will with a hold-up type of horse, my top-rated overall is PERFECT SYMPHONY 7/1 who from stall 2 should be able to get a good early position from which to attack and follow up its win from last time out.

Perfect Symphony 12/1 2nd
Lay bet: The Groove (+1pt)

KEMPTON 4.30

I've found 3 runners in this race that I will look to lay, (Sing Bertie, It Must Be Faith, Creek Harbour) then Dark Side Dream, Solar Park and Andre Amar could be dangers, Porto Ferro is 2nd top overall but its best time was from 2018 although it hasn't run over this c/d lately, in stall 1 EQUALLY FAST 9/4 who is a frontrunning type is my top-rated overall but its time was recorded at Lingfield and this will be its first run here, top-rated on only c/d times is SPIRIT POWER 5/1 who is another that is known to lead before and should be ok in the make-up of this race from stall 8 and it has good trainer/jockey stats, I will have to back them both in this race and hopefully they will dominate from the front here.

Spirit Power 5/1 1st Equally Fast 5/2 4th
Lay bet: Sing Bertie (+1pt) It Must Be Faith (+1pt) Creek Harbour (+1pt)

KEMPTON 7.00

This is a strange race, I have found 3, (Para Mio, Barrington, Waqlas) that I would look to lay, but it is such a competitive affair there's 7 horses that have a chance of going well or winning, there's only 2lbs between Los Camachos, Venture and Enthaar who are my top 3 ratings on just 2019/20 c/d times, Spring Romance would be top on c/d times if I use its best from 2018, the frontrunning Harbour Storm is 3rd top overall using a Wolverhampton time but has only a slow time on this surface while Pride Of Angels is 2nd top overall and at least its time was on this surface but at Lingfield and hasn't run here before over this c/d, in top spot overall is Rock Boy Grey again it's using a Wolverhampton time as it's not run at this c/d before. I am not sure what to make of this race and it is probably best left alone unless the betting says otherwise.
