1:35 Ayr Racing Tips (26th April)

AYR 1.35 

A 8 runner race and I'm hoping all of them take part, only Gunnerside has been known to lead even then only on sufferance, I will look to lay Mo Henry if of value as it hasn't won since 2017 and Deevious Beau who might struggle to stay the trip if there's a decent early pace, there is 2 more I could look to lay but I doubt they will be of value, Global Humor is 2nd top on recent times but only 4th top on overall figures, Kilconquhar is 3rd best on overall figures but that was from an AW time, Paddy Power has a time from 2019 that would make it my 2nd top rated but I will be going with the top rated *EPEIUS 10/1 who comes out top rated on recent, 2020/21, times and that's good enough for 2nd top overall but it has itself a faster time from 2019 that moves it to top spot on overall figures but it wont be a race I will be betting to heavily in.

The early pace could be set by Glory Fighter but it is one of a few who don't like really fast ground but is 4th top rated, Bielsa is 2nd top rated on recent times but drops to 3rd top on overall figures, George Bowen is 3rd top on recent times but has a time from 2019 that would move it to top spot but only by 2lb’s, CALL ME GINGER 10/1 is top rated on recent times and 2nd top rated overall and the jockey has a decent 15% strike rate for the stable and will be the one I will be backing.

On my figures there isn't a lot between, Spring Bloom, Coronation Cottage, Katherine Place and Thegreyvtrain, 3 of them Spring Bloom, Coronation Cottage and Thegreyvtrain are all known to be front runners so it should be a fast run affair and maybe they might go off too fast and fade nearing the finish and as my top rated horse is one that likes to track the leaders and then stay on resolutely at the finish this race should be run to suit SHANI 28/1 and a repeat of its beat time from Bath in 2020 it would win a shade cosily.

THIRSK 6.30 

The pace could be set by the bottom weighted Tathmeen but this one doesn't want the going to be too fast and has only won once from 15 attempts on grass, Lezardieux might struggle to stay the trip with a fast early pace and maybe worth laying if a single figure price, there's very little between Wentworth Falls, Rathbone and I Am A Dreamer but they are 6th to 4th top rated, Music Society sits in 3rd top spot, using a 2091 time, just 1lb below Spanish Angel in 2nd top spot who usually runs in midfield before staying on at the finish, I will be backing GUNMETAL 4/1 who usually likes to track the leaders and then stay on strongly at the finish.

4:15 Doncaster Racing Tips (10th September)

DONCASTER 4.15

There's a few lightly raced sorts in this field of 16 and then others with times from 2018/19 that would make them competitive, with a big field its hard to find anything of value to lay so I will have to hope I've found the winner, Musharrif is capable of fast times but usually in a lower class race, the same applies to Tricky Dicky, Royal Prospect doesn't want good to firm ground but is at home on good going, Hart Stopper, Flying Pursuit and Fighting Irish could battle to make the frame if running to their previous best but I will be backing GUNMETAL 7/1 who has the fastest overall taking into account the jockeys 5lb claim it is also the top rated using just 2020 times.

CHELMSFORD 7.30 

A poor turnout of just 6 runners for this class 3 race, funnily 2 of the 3 that like to set the pace are my 5th and 6th top rated so BENNY AND THE JETS 5/2 may do best from those racing to the fore, this is its 1st run at this course but it does have the 2nd top speed figure overall from Kempton so could prove hard to catch if getting to the front, the 3yo Dazzling Des and will be trying to stay on at the finish, Thegreatestshowman would come out 3rd top overall but i had to go back to 2018 to find that rating, if BREATHLESS TIMES 15/2 can cope with this drop to 5 furlongs it could win this race, its best time over 6 furlongs is way above anything the rest have shown and this one does have good trainer/jockey stats.

1:15 Ripon Racing Tips & Lay Bets (6th August)

RIPON 1.15 

A nice field of 11 runners in this class 3 race, I will hope to lay (Fairy Stories + True Mason) both may struggle to stay the distance if Bossipop sets a fast pace which is capable of doing and could do enough from the front to make the frame and has a stablemate, Staxton who could also make the frame and this one has the fasted time from 2020 only and 3rd top overall, Watchable will be running on at the finish and its best time from Epsom 2019 makes it 2nd best on my own speed figures, GUNMETAL 5/1 has a time from this year at Newmarket that would make it 3rd top on just 2020 times but has a time from Ascot in 2019 that puts it at the top of my figures and will be carrying some of my money.

BATH 3.40

A 9 runner dash where 4 of them like to front-run so it should be fast and furious and as long as they don't cut each other's throats I think it will be won from the front, a couple I would lay are (Jaganory + Bequest) both King Crimson and Thegreyvtrain like to lead and are my joint 3rd top-rated so either or both could go well, the horse that might prosper if the leaders do push each other too much is Moonraker but this one doesn't seem to want genuine good to firm ground so it may not finish fast enough to pick up the leaders, I am hoping my top-rated beast, CORONATION COTTAGE 11/2 can get to the front and if doing so it ought to prove pretty hard to catch and the jockey booking has a18% win ratio for the stable, makes me expect it will run a very big race in this race.
