4:20 Lingfield Racing Tips (3rd October)

LINGFIELD 4.20

This class 6 race looks very good for the class and there's 3 known frontrunners in the field so it should be a fast run 5 furlong dash, 2 of the possible pacesetters are ASK THE GURU 14/1 and SANDFRANKSKIPSGO 14/1 who both have times that could win the race but they are also not very consistent but ignore them at your peril as they could bounce back to form without warning and the 3rd possible pacesetter is BROGAN'S BAY 3/1 and this one 2nd top-rated on 2019 times, so it looks like the race will be won from the front and I will have to go with dutching the 3 of them but myabe tilting in favour of the more consistent Brogans Bay.

Ask The Guru 14/1 8th
Brogan's Bay 3/1 9th

WOLVERHAMPTON 6.15

A lot of the 11 runners in this race have been in good form which makes it hard to eliminate many if any and there's not really much data to work with so I will have to concentrate on my top pair of ratings, ARCHIMEDES 15/2 is my 2nd top-rated on its best time from Newcastle recorded this year so could be hard to catch for most of these but I do have LANDING NIGHT 25/1 rated higher but this ones best time was recorded in 2018 but it also has a faster time this year at Newcastle, so I will back them both to cover the angles but maybe slightly in favour of my highest-rated horse.

Archimedes 15/2 8th

CHELMSFORD 8.00

I can only see one horse who has led before so it might not be a fast run affair but it is my 2nd top-rated so DREAMBOAT ANNIE 50/1 could prove hard to catch for most of these and at the price it as to be an each-way wager, there's only 1lb between Gottardo my 4th top-rated and Sir Hector in 3rd spot, my top rated but only by 1lb is DESERT FOX 4/1 who usually stays on well at the finish, so I will go with backing the 2 horses to cover the angles.

CHELMSFORD 8.30

This looks a poor race but I guess that's to be expected for a class 7 affair and to be honest I cannot narrow it down to just 1 selection, Such Promise 20/1 is a possible pacesetter but is still a maiden after 11 runs and has only one 3rd place finish in those 11 races, Good Business 20/1 will be running on at the finish and its best time from 2018 would make it my top-rated, Broughton Excels 7/4 won last time out and is 2nd top-rated on 2019 times over this c/d, top-rated on 2019 times is Ar Saiorse 50/1 who can sometimes struggle to stay 6 furlongs if there's a fast early pace so might be ok here, i will probably dutch all 4 of them but my stakes wont be at full strength but there won't be much value when the favourite is so short.

3:25 Lingfield Racing Tips (24th September)

LINGFIELD 3.25

With four 3-year-olds in the race it has the potential to be a tricky race but I think/hope I've found a reason why 3 of them shouldn't win the race so maybe Starchant could do best of them as it's my joint 4th top-rated but its a 19 run maiden which is off-putting, Brogan Bay comes out 3rd best and is one of 2 known frontrunners in the race so could do enough to make the frame, I've got Staffa as my 2nd top-rated but that is using a 2018 time and has shown very little in its 2 runs this year to suggest it will win here but it could be competitive if on a going day but my money will be on SANDFRANKSKIPSGO 6/1 who I'm hoping can lead all the way in this race and get back to winning ways.

Sandfrankskipsgo 9/1 9th

CHELMSFORD 8.00

A full field of 14 runners with 3 that have been known to lead before, Creek Harbour and Wotadoll being my 4th and 5th top-rated could be the ones to set the pace, in 3rd top spot I've got Broughtons Flare who likes to track the leaders and the same tactics are usually deployed by Kraka my 2nd top-rated but my money, as usual, will be riding on my top-rated DESERT FOX 9/2 who is the second favourite, it can either be held up or track the leaders and then stay on strongly at the finish, the favourite Grisons 7/2 is a 3-year-old so feasibly it could still improve but I'm thinking this surface might not suit it and maybe worth having a small lay on.

4:45 Lingfield (19th August) Dutiful Son 50/1 Could Spring A Surprise

LINGFIELD 4.45

A very strange race with only 5 of the 12 runners having a recorded time add in 3 that have been known to lead before, so it should be a true run race for its class, but none of these 3 are in my 5 with recorded times, the bottom weight PRINCE ROCK 6/1 has a time from Chelmsford last year that would make it my my top rated the fact its a maiden after 16 races doesn't bode well for its chances, my top rated on c/d times is DUTIFUL SON 50/1 who recorded it last year but hasn't been anywhere near that level so far this year but this is a dropped in class and hopefully that will bring about a revival in form and at the price I cannot let it run without a few quid on it, I will be backing them both in this race.

LINGFIELD 5.15

This looks a much better race again there's 3 known pacesetters in the race but this time these 3 are all in my top 4 ratings, Ask The Guru can lead and it's my 4th top-rated in stall 4, Flowing Clarets who hasn't shown much so far this year is 3rd top using its best 2018 time and could be the one to prosper if they cut each others throats vying for the lead, the topweight BROGAN'S BAY 6/1 is in stall 6 and my 2nd top-rated but could find itself 3 deep going round the bends as my top rated is SANDFRANKSKIPSGO 6/1 who being housed in stall 1 can get out quickly and gain control on the rails and then kick on entering the home straight and hopefully repel any late challengers.

WINDSOR 6.30 (7.5)

I do hope the going is ok for this race but I doubt it so just a quick note about my top 3 just in case it does dry out in time, Harry Hurricane has to overcome a losing run of 31 which is quite off-putting but is capable of on a going day plus there's conflicting trainer/jockey stats which makes it hard to know what to expect from it in this race, Jack The Truth could be the one to set the pace and with an easy lead may well do enough to hold on and I will be backing both of the 2 mentioned but my stakes will be tilted in the favour of my 3rd bet, LOOK SURPRISED 9/2 who won last time out and has been found a good opportunity to follow up here, it likes to track the leaders and they stay on the stronger at the finish and should get a good tow into the race being drawn next door to the likely leader.
