1:30 Brighton Racing Tips (21st June)

BRIGHTON 1.30 

A typical sort of day where the 2 races I'm interested in are the first and last races of the day, its a pity there's only 7 runners here as I don't usually have an each way bet with only two places to compete for. I have got negatives against five of the runners in this race which doesn't happen very often but it might be ideal for me in this race, I could lay anything that's a single figure price except for Real Estate 7/2 who is my 2nd top rated but this horse has only won once before from 19 attempts but could go ok here and maybe the one for the forecast but my money will be riding on MOVEONUP 7/2 who is my top rated and the only known front running type in the race and has been found an ideal opportunity to follow up from the win it recorded last time out and the apprentice jockey has a very good strike rate for the stable.

NEWBURY 8.40 

Eleven runners but just the one known front runner so the pace could be set by Enduring but it would need to improve time wise to win this race but might be one to lay in running, looking at the tissue prices Libertus 3/1 is forecast to be the favourite mainly because its a 3to and finished 2nd last time it ran but that run might have flattered it as it was a slow run race and if this race is run at a fast early gallop then this horse might need a longer distance to show its best, there is 3 other 3yo’s in this race the bottom two have shown very little but Kindness 14/1 could be a bit of a hidden danger but I couldn't back or lay it although it wouldn't be a surprise if it did win, Strike 10/1 comes out 3rd best on my figures and usually runs on at the finish after racing at the rear or midfield of the pack so is another that could make the frame, Vape 7/1 comes out in 2nd top spot but the trainer hasn't had a winner for a month now from 12 attempts and the trainers 0-23 record at this course is off-putting, I will be putting my faith in RAINBOW MIRAGE 6/1 who is a hold up type and the jockey booking looks a positive as the jockey won on its only ride so far for this stable but its been a long time since the stable last had a winner but they have only sent out 8 runners during that time so that can be excused.

7:30 Kempton Racing Tips (4th May)

KEMPTON 7.30 

LIGHT LILLY 2/1 this one might set the pace to this race so could be dangerous if allowed an easy lead, I think a longer distance would suit it better so i'm not convinced this race will be run to suit it and if it leads and sets a slower pace it might not be able to bring its stamina into play so maybe worth the risk to lay it at the price. 

JOY CHOI 8/1 is making its debut on an artificial surface so I'm not sure what to expect but on turf it seemed to prefer some cut in the ground so it might be better suited to the Tapeta surface but I'm not sure if I could lay it at the price. 

CAMACHESS 4/1 hasn't shown much in its 3 runs over this course and distance but it has a rating which it recorded in 2021 at Lingfield that would make it my top rated and it has decent trainer stats and even better jockey stats making me think connections are expecting it to go well here. 

LIBERTY BAY 9/1 has won over this course and distance before and its best ratings are all around the same level so it would need to improve time wise to win this race but I expect it to be an outsider so its up to your risk levels if you are prepared to lay it or not. 

*TRIDEVL 22/1 has had four runs and has shown nothing worthwhile from any of them so I expect it to be the rank outsider in the betting but a lay if of value to do so. 

HEERS SADIE 8/1 has won on turf before but is 0-5 on an All-Weather surface but has made the frame in two of those five runs and its best times on turf haven't been good enough to register on my graphs so maybe worth laying. 

RAINBOW MIRAGE 4/1 is my top rated on recent, 2021/22, ratings and second top on my overall figures so should go well here as it is a course and distance winner, it has decent trainer stats but has much better jockey stats so it looks another where connections are expecting a big run. 

AMAZING AMAYA 8/1 hasn't any form at this course and the distance which might be too short for it on this fast surface and seems a much better prospect when racing on the Tapeta surface so maybe another one to lay if of value nearer the off time. 

SUMMARY: The top weight Light Lilly could set the pace to this race but I think its prospects would be better on the Tapeta surface and hasn't shown much in its two runs over this distance on this Polytrack surface, the betting will decide whether I post any lays for this race while as for the winner I will be backing CAMACHESS 4/1 who comes out top on overall figures if I use its rating from 2020 at Lingfield and it can reproduce that rating here while RAINBOW MIRAGE 4/1 is my top rated on more recent ratings and this one is figure was recorded over this course and distance and with both having positive jockey bookings they look as if both are expected to go very well here but I might split my stakes 60/40 in favour of Rainbow Mirage.

7:00 Kempton Racing Tips (6th October)

KEMPTON 7.00 

A class 2 conditions race which looks very competitive on paper but the lack of a pacesetter muddies the water, I would normally look to lay Live In The Moment 7/1 as it can struggle to stay the distance if there's a good fast early pace so it might be ok in this race while the bottom weight Bahrain Pride might prefer a slower surface but is dropped in class to run here, Tabdeed and Soldiers Minute are my 3rd and 2nd top rated horses but I will have a small wager on STYLISH PERFORMER 14/1 who is forecast to be the outsider in the field but it has won its last 2 races so is in cracking form and looks the value call in the race.

KEMPTON 8.00 Div I 

A pretty poor race even for a class 6 affair, the early pace could be set by Coolagh Magic 15/8 as its versatile with its racing tactics and has led before, I will look to lay Bama Lama 11/2 who has won its last 2 races both times on this surface but both were slow run affairs and I think it will be lower in the market than its actual chance of winning, the rest of those with a speed figure all have negatives against their names so I will be putting my pennies on RAINBOW MIRAGE 9/2 who is my top rated on just 2021 times and they are the most important unless something has a good reason why its not performed well lately and is then what could be called a dark horse, the race will not take much winning so again it will be low stakes.

This division is even worse and only the two at the top of the handicap have times fast enough to register on my graphs, Moonshiner 4/1 could be a bit of a dark horse as it ran on over 5 furlongs but faded over this distance but I couldn't back or lay it but I will look to lay both Rubee Forty 7/1 and Mr Moneypenny 4/1 who are both still maidens after 10 and 7 races respectively, of the top two in the handicap I cannot split them and will be backing both ACES 6/1 and QUEEN OF BURGUNDY 4/1 the former has a time from Lingfield that makes it my top rated by quite a few spots but can struggle to stay the distance if the early pace is really fast but I cannot see what will lead so it could be ok in the make-up of this race, while the latter is my top rated on just 2021 times and the trainer has a good record at this course.

1:10 Doncaster Racing Tips (9th September)

DONCASTER 1.10 

A class 3 race for female jockeys and my selection is being ridden by one of the top jockettes, I will look to lay Pivoting and Rocket Action if they are single figure prices which I very much doubt, so maybe the best lay will be Citron Major 15/2 who doesn't seem to like good to firm ground the early pace could well be set by Giogiobbo and unless its allowed a very easy time in front I doubt it can hold on for the win, Call Me Ginger 7/2 comes out 3rd top rated on a time it recorded when winning at Hamilton but I doubt it will be an each way price, Embour 15/2 is my 2nd top rated and again its using a time recorded at Hamilton so might just about be worth an each way bet, my money will be riding on LORD P 9/4 who recorded a time when winning at Carlisle which would see it winning this race quite cosily and the trainer is in good form with a 7-18 record for the last 2 weeks.

CHEPSTOW 2.00 

A 7 runner race but I could potentially lay 3 of them, Mabre, Siglo Six and Russco 7/4, as long as they are single figure prices, as I think they all could do better over a longer distance but at the prices it looks likely I will only lay Russco, the hold up type Gilt Edge comes out in 3rd top spot, MY STYLE 11/1 (EW) comes out top rated using 2021 times and that speed figure is good enough for 2nd top spot on my overall figures so worth an each way wager, HANDYTALK 7/2 has only slow times so far this year but does have a time from 2020 recorded at Salisbury that makes it my top rated on the overall figures, both horses have good trainer/jockey stats making it look like both sets of connections are expecting a big run from their horse in this race so I will be backing them both.

CHEPSTOW 3.05 Div II 

Division 1 of this race was full of 3yo’s and lightly raced sorts so I will leave it alone, this isn't a great race but the top weight Creek Harbour 7/2 has been known to lead if nothing else wants to but will probably try to set a slightly slower early pace to keep something in reserve for the finish so it could be dangerous but along with Andre Amar 4/1 and Glorious Crescent 11/2 it can struggle to stay this distance on good to firm ground if theres a fast early pace, I will be backing 2 horses in this race there is only 2lbs between SIR RODERICK 10/1 (EW) and RAINBOW MIRAGE 12/1 (EW) and the latter has the better trainer/jockey stats which makes it hard to split them and I will be backing them both each way. 

Sir Roderick 10/1 6th -2pts

CHEPSTOW 4.35 

For a class 6 this one isn't too bad there's 3 known front runners and it could be won from the front, I will look to lay Nacho 7/4 who has won before but both on turf and AW surfaces they have been slow run affairs when it has won so this race may not be run to suit it, Glamorous Force 5/2 is my 3rd top rated and will be trying to stay on at the business end of the race but isn't an each way prospect, Aquadabra 14/1 comes out best on just 2021 times and 2nd best on my overall figures so may be worth an each way interest while CORONATION COTTAGE 11/2 comes out 2nd best on 2021 times but top on my overall figures and is the one that I think could lead all the way in this race.

CHELMSFORD 8.00 

There is a couple of known front running types in this race which helps with my analysis, I have Storm Melody as my 3rd top rated and it usually likes to track the leaders as does Tilsworth Rose who sits in 2nd top spot but top on my figures but only by 1lb when I take off the apprentices 3lb claim on JORVIK PRINCE 12/1 who is a front running type and has the plum stall 1 draw in this race and could lead from the off and then prove hard to catch, its a pity there is only 7 runners because I would have put it as an each way bet if there was 3 places.
