4:50 Kempton Racing Tips (26th October)

KEMPTON 4.50

A poor class 5 claiming race with 9 runners but what will set the early pace I'm not really sure, Beau Jardine has led or disputed the lead once before after they had covered one furlong and then faded nearing the finish but could be dangerous if allowed to set a relatively slow pace but I somehow doubt that will happen. The horse that is forecast to be favourite is Starshiba 7/4 but it hasn't won over this distance before and races as though a longer distance would suit it better so maybe this race wont be run to suit it so its one of those horses that I couldn't back or lay and in this race. On official ratings the horse that should win this race is Desert Boots 7/2 but it only comes out 4th best on my unique speed figures but they say class always tells so maybe worth an each way bet if of value to do so. The 3yo Alfred Cove 6/1 is my 3rd top rated and usually likes to settle in midfield in the early stages of a race and then try to stay on at the finish, Under Curfew 9/2 comes out in 2nd top spot and is another that usually races in midfield before staying on at the finish but my money will be riding on CAMACHESS 10/1 who usually likes to track the leaders before staying on the stronger at the business end of the race and it has won over today's course and distance before which is always a bonus, yes I have to admit its not been in the best of form lately but has been known to spring back into form with any obvious previous warning so lets hope that happens here.

5:50 Hamilton Racing Tips (8th June)

HAMILTON 5.50

I very often look at these amateur jockey races and decide to leave them alone but for some unknown reason I analysed this one thoroughly and if I'm right I'm going to be glad I did, Deevious Beau 11/2 has poor form on turf but is the only one in the field known to front run but even with an easy lead I doubt it can hold on for the win, looking at the early tissue prices both How Bizarre 8/1 and Marwarl 11/2, who might need a longer distance to show their best form, are forecast to be single figure prices so I would look to lay them, my money will be riding on HARD SOLUTION 13/2 the trainer has a 20% win ratio at the course and the jockey is 4-8 on the stables older horses.

Only 7 runners but I am not sure what will set the pace which is always a worry so I don't think I will be able to find anything to lay and as for the winner I would side with CAMACHESS 10/3 who likes to track the leader/s and then stay on the stronger at the finish and is my top rated and the jockey has a 4-11 strike rate for the stable which hopefully makes me think connections are expecting it to get back to winning ways here.

I can see two front runners in this field of nine in a class four race, I will start with something I will look to lay, Internationaldream 11/1, if its a single figure price, I could add Tipperary Tiger 9/2 to the list if the going is good to firm as it isn't its favoured surface, Ballyconneely Bay 9/1 is another that doesn't seem to like fast ground but could be a danger if the going was just genuinely good, my top rated is Jordon Electrics 3/1 who is one of the possible pace setters and would have been my bet in this race, it finished 2nd last time out but the time was relatively slow for this class of a race, the trainer is 0-16 in the last 2 weeks and its been 174 days since the stable last had a winner plus at this course the trainer is 1-20 and the jockey is 0-4 for the stable so I will be siding with CHOOKIE DUNEDIN 2/1 who won last time out and has been found a good opportunity to follow up here.

Chookie Dunedin 5/1 8th -1pt

A six runner dash with half the field being front running sorts and in such a small field the draw wont make much difference, I will look to lay Joshua R 5/1 who might get outpaced in the early stages here and then stay on too late to pick up the leaders, Sixcor 3/1 could do best of those coming from off the pace seeing that its my 3rd top rated, Refuge 11/1 is my 2nd top rated and a possible pacesetter but I will be backing TANASOQ 9/2 who can lead but doesn't need to as its a versatile type, the jockey has a 17% win ratio for the stable so I'm hoping that's a good pointer.

7:30 Kempton Racing Tips (4th May)

KEMPTON 7.30

LIGHT LILLY 2/1 this one might set the pace to this race so could be dangerous if allowed an easy lead, I think a longer distance would suit it better so i'm not convinced this race will be run to suit it and if it leads and sets a slower pace it might not be able to bring its stamina into play so maybe worth the risk to lay it at the price.

JOY CHOI 8/1 is making its debut on an artificial surface so I'm not sure what to expect but on turf it seemed to prefer some cut in the ground so it might be better suited to the Tapeta surface but I'm not sure if I could lay it at the price.

CAMACHESS 4/1 hasn't shown much in its 3 runs over this course and distance but it has a rating which it recorded in 2021 at Lingfield that would make it my top rated and it has decent trainer stats and even better jockey stats making me think connections are expecting it to go well here.

LIBERTY BAY 9/1 has won over this course and distance before and its best ratings are all around the same level so it would need to improve time wise to win this race but I expect it to be an outsider so its up to your risk levels if you are prepared to lay it or not.

*TRIDEVL 22/1 has had four runs and has shown nothing worthwhile from any of them so I expect it to be the rank outsider in the betting but a lay if of value to do so.

HEERS SADIE 8/1 has won on turf before but is 0-5 on an All-Weather surface but has made the frame in two of those five runs and its best times on turf haven't been good enough to register on my graphs so maybe worth laying.

RAINBOW MIRAGE 4/1 is my top rated on recent, 2021/22, ratings and second top on my overall figures so should go well here as it is a course and distance winner, it has decent trainer stats but has much better jockey stats so it looks another where connections are expecting a big run.

AMAZING AMAYA 8/1 hasn't any form at this course and the distance which might be too short for it on this fast surface and seems a much better prospect when racing on the Tapeta surface so maybe another one to lay if of value nearer the off time.

SUMMARY: The top weight Light Lilly could set the pace to this race but I think its prospects would be better on the Tapeta surface and hasn't shown much in its two runs over this distance on this Polytrack surface, the betting will decide whether I post any lays for this race while as for the winner I will be backing CAMACHESS 4/1 who comes out top on overall figures if I use its rating from 2020 at Lingfield and it can reproduce that rating here while RAINBOW MIRAGE 4/1 is my top rated on more recent ratings and this one is figure was recorded over this course and distance and with both having positive jockey bookings they look as if both are expected to go very well here but I might split my stakes 60/40 in favour of Rainbow Mirage.

12:40 Lingfield Racing Tips (31st December)

LINGFIELD 12.40

A nice looking class 3 race with 8 runners and 3 that like to lead, Outrage 9/1 may prefer further, Vandad 11/1 and Lucky Ava 3/1 might be outclassed and I will look to lay all 3 of them if they are of value to lay , the top weight Top Breeze could go well but may not be ideally drawn in stall 8 for a front runner and might get carried wide on the bend, my money will be riding on LIHOU 7/2 who is another front runner and from stall 5 it should be able to get either a good position or lead and it then should prove hard to catch.

Lihou 7/2 6th -1pt

Lay bet Lucky Ava +1pt

LINGFIELD 2.55 Div I

Not the best sprint even for a class 6 race but with 2 known front runners it should be a true run race with Winnetka and Julie Johnston battling for control of the early pace, I will look to lay Hector Loza 9/2 who has recorded slow times on this surface at both Chelmsford and Kempton and I think its a better horse over a shorter distance plus the jockeys record is 1-42 which doesn't indicate it will be expected to win win this race, Come On Girl and The Cola Kid are my joint 3rd top rated so either could make the frame if they repeat their best so might be worth an each way punt if they are a double figure price but they might be battling for just the one place so it makes more sense to leave them alone, both of the 2 horses I will be backing in this race like to track the leaders, my top rated horse CAMACHESS 9/2 would normally be my sole bet in this race as it is my top rated and it recorded that rating here this year but its been 57 days since this stable last had a winner admittedly they have only sent out 6 horses in those 57 days so i might also back my 2nd top rated horse Nubough 9/2 more as a covering bet as its been 18 runners and 128 days since this stable last tasted success, so any stakes will be kept low.

LINGFIELD 3.25 Div II

This looks the weaker of the two divisions with five 3yo’s in the race and just one known front runner, if Amasova 7/1 is a single figure price I would look to lay it as it seems much better when raced over a shorter trip plus the horse is still a maiden after 14 races while the trainer is 0-12 in the last fortnight and its been 13 runners since the stable last toasted a winner, Thaki 5/2, Alcazan 13/2 and Kodi Gold 9/1 could run well here and battle to make the frame but my money will be riding on the aforementioned front running CHAMPAGNE SUPANOVA 3/1 and if it does get to the front it should prove a very hard nut to crack and it looks to have been found a very good opportunity to follow up its win last time out.

Lay bets must be single figure odds at sp

2:25 Lingfield Racing Tips (15th December)

LINGFIELD 2.25

DURDLE DOOR 11/2 a possible pacesetter who hasn't run over this course and distance, it has a mediocre rating from Kempton but a higher rating from Chelmsford so not sure what to expect but the jockeys 0-17 record for the stable makes me think they have a future target in mind.

GHAALLYA 16/1 is versatile when it comes to racing tactics and could lead if allowed to dictate and set a slightly slower early pace to keep something in reserve for the finish which I don't think will happen, it hasn't run at this course before and it would need to improve on its best time recorded at Wolverhampton.

LOTHIAN 14/1 can either be held up for a late run or track the leaders but time wise it would need to improve on both its course and distance speed figure and its better rating recorded at Chelmsford.

CAPPANANTY CON 18/1 is another one that is quite versatile with its racing tactics and it has been known to lead before usually when nothing else wants to and that could happen in this race which could mean that its stall 12 draw might not be a big a negative as usual and if getting to the front it could prove a hard nut to crack.

HURCLE 40/1 has shown very little in its three runs this year, it can track the leaders or be held up for a late run but time wise its sits outside my top four ratings and may struggle to catch the leaders in this race and I think it will be an outsider in this race.

CAMACHESS 8/1 has a speed figure from February this year over this course and distance which makes it my 3rd top rated in this race, it usually likes to track the leaders and then stay on nearing the finish and could at least make the frame.

PATSY FAGAN 9/1 on what this one has shown so far with its speed figures it would need to improve quite a few spots but it is only a 3yo so could be capable of improvement but its last 2 runs haven't shown much and i hope it doesn't improve too much here.

PRINCELY 16/1 has only relatively slow times on recent form and it hasn't won from 13 previous runs on an artificial surface but has made the frame twice but its not for me in this race and i think it will be another outsider in the betting.

*PORTELET BAY 6/1 hasn't ever run over this distance on this surface and hasn't won from 6 previous All-Weather races, making the frame in two of them, it may not like this surface and seems a bit of a weak finisher whatever distance they run it over and maybe worth laying at the price.

DEPUTISE 7/2 has only slow ratings for its more recent course and distance forays and even its best rating on the Tapeta surface leaves it short of breaking into my top four ratings and I am surprised its such a short price.

PABLO DEL PUEBLO 4/1 this 3yo won last time out recording a speed figure that would make it my third or fourth top rated so it could run another good race hear and may even get to follow up that win of 19 days ago, it usually races in midfield or held up for a late run.

REAL ESTATE 22/1 has one high speed figure when it got towed along in a fast run race and that is becoming to look like a flukey one off rating and has been in poor form on it’s more recent runs.

SUMMARY: I think I will start with a horse that I will be looking to lay in this race as Portelet Bay is forecast to be the second favourite around the four to one price but it still hasn't managed a win on the AW tracks and I think this surface may not be its favoured one and it needs to improve on its best rating from Wolverhampton, as for the winner I will be backing three horses firstly CAMACHESS who is my 2nd top rated on just 2021 c/d times and may really be top with question marks about the top rated horses rating most likely being a fluke or one off time and it likes to track the leaders the other bet will be on CAPPANANTY CON who from stall 12 may be forced into making an early attempt to either lead or at least contest the lead and if getting to the front could prove hard to catch and this horse has been known to spring back to form without prior warning and finally PABLO DEL PUEBLO 4/1 who won last time out and could be an improving 3yo and could follow up here.

1:45 Lingfield Racing Tips (20th November)

LINGFIELD 1.45

Its been a long week without any All-Weather racing to look at, I don't bet on National Hunt racing they always seem to fall when I back them. A nice looking class 4 race to get back into the swing of things, four of the ten runners are three year olds and the oldest horse in the race is only a six year old. ROSE HIP 8/1 hasn't any surface form to its name but has a fast time from on turf which gives it a decent chance, it has poor jockey stats but then it has been dropped in class to run here so I will be backing it to some degree as it could win if repeating its best grass form, Enduring 12/1 likes to lead but only by setting a slow early pace and it wont be allowed that luxury in this race and could be worth laying if a single figure price while Letha Blast 12/1 may be outclassed at this level and another one to lay if of value to do so, the trainer of Lucky Ava hasn't had a winner in the last month but does ok at this course and the jockey also has a reasonable record for the stable and its best time from 2020 would put it in the mix so I couldn't back or lay this one with any confidence, with 4 known front runners in this race they could go off at a breakneck pace and leave the door open for something coming form off the pace, although Buy Me Back 14/1 from stall 2 could do best of those early paced types and therefore might be worth an each way punt at a double figure price, so I will be betting on SON AND SANNIE 5/1 who has a time from 2020 over this course and distance which makes it my top rated and it also has good trainer and jockey stats. I will be backing both horses but with my stakes most likely to be tilted in the favour of the latter selection.

WOLVERHAMPTON 7.30

A field of 13 for this class 5 race, Vape 12/1 hasn't got any form over this course and distance and it may need a longer distance to show its best form but I doubt it will be a single figure price but I will lay it if that does happen, I will also be looking at Gustav Graves 8/1 in terms of a lay bet as I am not convinced it really stays this far if there is a fast early pace which I think will happen in this race. Gowanlad 5/1 time wise would be in the mix if able to reproduce its best time from 2020 but the trainer has only a single figure win ratio at this course and the jockey is 0-11 for this stable which is enough to put me off its chances in this race, the 3yo Highest Ambition is a maiden on the All-Weather tracks after 6 previous attempts and time wise it would need to improve on its best time which was recorded last year, Princely is 0-12 on the All-Weather courses and looks better over a shorter distance, Good Earth could be the one to set the pace to this race but may not be good enough to hold on and may be pushed for the lead by the 3yo GIVE EM THE SLIP 12/1 who is versatile with its racing tactics and does come out top rated on just this years course and distance times and at the double figure price it has to be worth an each way interest, i will also be backing CAMACHESS 6/1 who comes out 2nd top rated on this years times and usually runs on strongly at the finish over this distance and if they do go off too fast this one could be the one to prosper but my stakes will be tilted in favour of the former selection.

1:35 Leicester Racing Tips (24th April)

LEICESTER 1.35

A field of 8 runners with just All You Wish having been known to lead but then only on sufferance but I couldn't back or lay this one, I would look to lay Newyorkstateofmind 5/1 who looks to be better over a shorter trip, Grey Galleon 9/1 maybe outclassed in this race but does come out 2nd best on just recent distance times and not of value to lay, Dancinginthewoods weakened over 7 furlongs so this trip could suit it, Little Boy Blue 11/4 has a fast time from back in 2019 but hasn't been near that level since then and the jockeys 0-5 record for the stable is a little off-putting and it might be worth laying at the price, the top weight ABLE KANE 2/1 has the top spot on recent distance form and a repeat of its Catterick time from last year would be good enough to see it winning this race.

Able Kane 7/2 2nd -1pt

RIPON 4.25

Only 6 runners and the early pace might be set by Desert Safari 2/1 but I'm doubtful it can lead all the way for the win but not sure enough of that to lay it, Citron Major maybe outclassed in this race, Fortamour likes to track the leaders but needs to improve time wise to win here, Mister Lupton is a hold up type but I think the race will be between Staxton who starts of as my top rated but the 5lb the apprentice claims riding MUSCIKA 7/2 moves this one to top spot and the jockey booking looks a positive making me think connections are expecting it to win.

Muscika 13/2 6th -1pt

HAYDOCK 5.40

Quite a poor race even for a class 5 race, there is a couple, Ustath and Spirit Power, that like like to set the pace, the former can struggle at the distance if its a fast early pace while the latter prefers some cut in the ground, both Dana Forever 7/2 and Production 7/2 race as though a longer distance would be beneficial so maybe worth laying i have a negative stat against every horse in the race bar the one and that is CAMACHESS 11/1 who is having its first run on its favoured good to firm ground her and that could see it bounce back to form, it does handicap itself sometimes with tardy starts but it it a hold up type anyway so its not really a big problem but it will need a clear run when it makes its move to run on to win the race.

2:00 Yarmouth Racing Tips & Lay Bets (16th September)

YARMOUTH 2.00

I will start of with a couple I will l ook to lay (Inevitable Outcome + Superiority) a couple of 3yo’s who would need to improve to win this race but the former may prefer some cut in the going and the latter as this trip might be too far, my 3rd top rated is Queen Of Burgundy who likes to track the leaders, my 2nd top rated, LETHAL ANGEL 12/1 can be held up or track the leaders it has good trainer/jockey stats which point to it running a big race here, my top rated is *CAMACHESS 9/2 who likes to track the leaders before staying on resolutely the only problem with this race is I don't know who will set the pace so stakes will be kept on the low side.

Only 5 runners I still cannot narrow it down to a single selection, Leodis Dream is relatively quite slow on my speed figures but I expect it will be the outsider, the top 2, Blue de Vega and/or Caspian Prince will set the pace but I think they will set up the race for either TEXTING 13/2 or DACHAS 6/1 who both like to finish strongly at the business end of the race, they both have good trainer stats so I'm not sure which one will prevail so it has to be 2 bets in this race.

BEVERLEY 4.35

In this sprint I can find 4 horses to lay but I think all 4 will be big prices and represent very little value if any value at all, Musharrif could go well here if able to reproduce its best 2018 time and its best since then has been at least 10lbs below standard, there's a few that could go well Line Of Reason, Mythmaker, Athollblair Boy and Nibras Again, I will go with backing 2 horses in this race to cover the angles firstly DAPPER MAN 12/1 who could try to lead all the way here and is joint 2nd top on just 2020 times but top rated if using its Hamilton time from 2019, secondly my top rated on just 2020 times is INDIAN SOUNDS 11/2 who likes to track the leaders and then stay on strongly at the finish.

7:00 Yarmouth Racing Tips & Lay Bets (28th July)

YARMOUTH 7.00

Once again I think I will lay (Napping) who usually does its best form in lower class races, there's four 3yo’s in the race plus another 2 with relatively little data from the turf to work with, the trainer of CAMACHESS 9/4 has a decent 18% win ratio at this course which makes it my selection but the jockeys 0-5 record for the stable tempers my enthusiasm and at the price looks poor value but I cannot find anything to take it on with.

YARMOUTH 8.30

Only Michaels Choice is known as a frontrunner but this one would need to improve a few pounds to hold on but if given an easy lead that is quite possible, the top 3 in the weights all have higher speed figures, Thegreatestshowman is top-rated on just 2020 times but only 3rd top overall, Texting is 2nd top-rated overall using a 2019 Ascot time, GRANDFATHER TOM 9/1 has a relatively slow time from 2020 to its name but top rated on its course and distance win in 2019 and that's the reason I will have a small bet on this one.
