7:00 Newcastle Racing Tips and Lay Bets (11th July)

NEWCASTLE 7.00

A strange race for a class 3 affair but there are 3 known frontrunners so it should be a true run race, I can only find 1 horse to lay (Athollblair Boy) who might find itself outclassed as it has never won in this class before, the main strange thing about this race is STAXTON 9/2 and DANZAN 22/1 both are capable of winning this race but they are both from the same stable and have completely different racing tactics, Danzan is known to lead so stall 3 should be fine while its stablemate Staxton is drawn in stall 4 so should get a good tow into the race, on times alone I would side with Staxton but although the usual stable jockey rides it here Danzan’s jockey has a 22% win ratio when riding the stables older horses, I cannot split them so will back them both to cover the angles but theres another horse I have to mention and that is Exchequer 18/1 who is versatile when it comes to racing tactics and could stay on to make the frame but it does have to bounce back to form.

Danzan 50/1 4th (-1pt)
Staxton 9/2 6th (-1pt)

Lay bet: Atholblair Boy +1pt

NEWCASTLE 7.30

There's 5 known front-running types in this race so it should be a fast and furious dash, as for lay bets I can only find (The Armed Man) who has been out of form lately and may need further to shine, of the frontrunners, You're Cool and Eeh Bah Gum could do best and could possibly make the frame from stall 1 Primos Comet should get a clear run and then stay on at the end of the race and contest others to make the frame, my money in this race will be riding on TABAAHY 12/1 who can track the leaders or be held up for a late run and this race looks likely to be run to suit its style and the jockey is 1-10 for the stable on the AW tracks and more importantly he is 1-2 on the stables older horses.

4:45 Newmarket Racing Tips (4th June)

NEWMARKET 4.45

This dry spell is ideal for my speed figures so let's hope they don't water it too much before racing, I will look to lay (Thegreatestshowman who is better over a shorter trip, I'm Available may prefer further and also a slower surface, Tin Hat is my 3rd lay as it prefers a shorter distance) Ginger Fox looks as though it might prefer further and a shorter trip but it does have positive jockey booking. I'm not sure whether I dare lay it, the price will make my mind up, DRUMMOND'S WARRIOR 14/1 is the one I think will set the pace and could be the danger and could win here if my selection doesn't run to its best so could be worth an each-way bet at the price but I will be backing COUNT OTTO 4/1 who will be trying to stay on the stronger towards the end of the race.

Count Otto 4/1 3rd
Drummond's Warrior 14/1 7th

Lay bets: Thegreatestshowman +1pt, I'm Available +1pt, Tin Hat +1pt

Total +1pt

NEWCASTLE 5.05

There are 3 known frontrunners in this 5-furlong dash but I think they will set the race up for a finishing type, I will look to lay (Society Queen who may need further and Jewel Maker who might prefer a slower surface) Royal Brave is my 3rd top-rated but the jockeys 0-18 record for the stable makes me think a place is maybe the best it will attain, Buniann is another with a negative jockey booking, this one's record is 1-15 so my money will be riding on TABAAHY 4/1 who can track the leaders or be held up and could get a good tow into the race with the make-up of this race and the horse has good AW stats.

Tabaahy 11/2 1st

Lay bets: Society Queen +1pt, Jewel Maker +1pt

Total: 7.5pts

NEWMARKET 5.20

Division 2 of this sprint and it should be a fast run affair with four known frontrunners in the field of 11, I have found 3 I would like to lay (Commander Han who looks better over a longer trip, Ginger Jam doesn't look as it stays this distance and this race won't be run to suit it, Chairmanoftheboard may prefer a longer trip or a slower surface maybe both) the topweight BUNGEE JUMP 25/1 has good jockey stats and could set the pace and I think I will have to have a covering each-way bet on it just in case it can lead all the way at the price, my main bet is BOY IN THE BAR 11/2 who is another that has been known to lead but this one might not like really fast/firm going.

Bungee Jump 33/1 1st
Boy In The Bar 20/1 8th

Lay bets: Commander Han +1pt, Ginger Jam +1pt, Chairmanoftheboard +1pt

Total: +35pts

Total on the day: +43.5pts (Excellent from Eric Winner)

5:30 Newcastle - Free Horse Racing Tips (16th January)

NEWCASTLE 5.30

Not a race to be betting too heavily in and the best way to make money from this race would be to lay Gamesome and Jonboy, I'm not sure what to expect from Buniann but it could be a danger Canford Bay looks the likely pacesetter and with an easy lead could go well, I will be having a small bet on COMMANDER HAN 3/1 who is my top rated but its losing run of 19 doesn't fill me with confidence nor the jockeys 1-16 strike rate for this stable and to be honest I expected it be a bigger price but I have to stick with my speed figures.

Commander Han 3/1 4th

NEWCASTLE 6.30

A full house of 14 runners, there's 6 horses that I will willingly lay in this race, Puchita, Lord Of The Glen, Someone Exciting, De Bruyne Horse, Darwina and Mitchum. Meshardal is my 4th top-rated and likes to track the leaders as does Avenue Of Stars my 3rd top-rated, my 2nd top-rated Gunmetal will be trying to stay on resolutely nearing the finish and should make the frame if reproducing its best, my money will be entrusted to STAR CRACKER 18/1 who is one of only two in the race that has been known to lead successfully before and I'm hoping a repeat here and it leads all the way from stall 13, luckily the draw isn't vital at this course and at the price I will be having an each-way wager.

Star Cracker 22/1 1st

(Exceptional tipping from Eric. When did you last see a tipster detail a big price winner like this?)

NEWCASTLE 7.00

In this 9 runner race the most likely pacesetter will be HELLO GIRL 10/1 its been off the course for a while now and may need this run for race fitness but is one of three horses in this race I will be dutching, JEFFREY HARRIS 5/1 is top-rated on just 2019 c/d times so has to be the 2nd one to be backed in this race, my third horse I will be backing is TABAAHY 12/1 and the jockey booking on this horse I am hoping is significant as he has a 24% win rate on this stables older horses, as I said I will be dutching all 3 but my stakes won't be at full strength, I will look to lay, Klopp 2/1 favourite, Fair Alibi 9/1, Piazon 10/1 and Swinging Eddie 10/1 to cover my betting stake.
