1:15 Lingfield Racing Tips (27th January)

LINGFIELD 1.15

An 8 runner class 6 stakes race with just Moveonup known as a front running type and is my 3rd top on Tapeta ratings for 2022 and 2023 but would drop to 4th top if Billian takes to this surface as its Wolverhampton figure would put it 3rd top spot. I would look to lay Tahonta if its a single figure price as I think it needs further to show its best and this race might not be run to suit its racing style. Youllovemewheniwin seems a better horse on the Polytrack surface which would make it my 2nd top rated on overall figures but it does come 2nd top on just recent (2022-23) Tapeta figures so could go well here but my top rated is REAL ESTATE 5/1 (EW) it comes out top using its best 2022 rating and further ahead if it can reproduce its best 2021 rating, admittedly its not been in great form recently but it is one of those horses that can spring back to form without any prior indication of a return to form so I'm hoping it will be worth an each way punt.

Nine runners for this class 5 dash with a couple of probable pacesetters, Man On A Mission 11/4 has won its last 3 races and has been raised a total of 11lbs which might find it out in this better race but it will be trying to stay on at the finish but maybe too late here for the win here with the make-up of this race, *Level Up 7/1 will also be trying to stay on at the finish but again maybe too late so maybe worth laying both of them. Micks Spirit and Lilkian are my joint 3rd top rated horses and they are only rated 1lb lower than Hey Ho Lets Go in 2nd top spot all 3 like to track the leaders but Lilkian can be held up for a strong finish so any of them could make the frame but my money will be riding on PABLO DEL PUEBLO 7/2 who won last time out over this distance at Kempton and if able to repeat that rating it here it could lead all the way to follow up here, the trainer has been in good form in the last 2 weeks and the jockey has a good strike rate when riding for the stable.

1:15 Lingfield Racing Tips (17th December)

LINGFIELD 1.15

A class 5 dash with 10 runners with half the field having been known to lead, I have eliminated 4 runners as having virtually no chance of winning but only Bethersden Boy looks likely to be of value to lay. Of the front running types Yimou 9/2 hasn't any form over this course and distance and would need to improve on its best Chelmsford rating to win this race but does have the best of the draw in stall 2, Corinthia Knight has been in poor form lately and The Defiant is my 4th top rated but stall 9 doesn't look good for it in the make-up of this race. PEPPER STREAK 8/1 my joint 2nd top rated has stall 5 so is a possible pacesetter and being a 3yo could still improve and if getting to the front could be hard to catch but its been over a 100 days since the stable last had a winner and the jockey is 0-15 when riding for the stable, MICK'S SPIRIT 6/1 is my other joint 2nd top rated and this one likes to track the leaders and then stay on strongly at the finish, it has good trainer/jockey stats, LILKIAN 4/1 is only top rated when taking off the apprentice jockeys 7lb allowance and in this race stall 1 might not be ideal if the leaders come across and in front of it. I will back all 3 to varying degrees with Micks Spirit being my biggest bet, then Lilkian as my 2nd best bet and Pepper Streak as my smallest bet.

LINGFIELD 1.50

A class 6 sprint with 12 runners and no natural front running type amongst them although both Dazzerling 8/1 and Pollinate have done so when nothing else wants to lead but I think this distance might be too far for the former so could be worth laying, both would need to improve time wise. Admirable Lad, Perfect Symphony and Tawanafoq are my 5th, 4th and 3rd top rated and there's only 3lbs between them, If Lothian can produce its best Chelmsford rating at this course it comes out in 2nd top spot but I will be relying on REAL ESTATE 7/1 (EW) who likes to track the leaders before staying on strongly nearing the finish so I'm hoping this one is an each way price.

CHELMSFORD 3.15

A class 6 sprint with a full house of 14 runners and a couple of front running types, I will look to lay Breezyandbright 10/1 if its a single figure price near the off, as it looks a better prospect over a shorter distance, Amazing Amaya 7/1 seems better on the Tapeta surface and might also be of value to lay, Elegant Ellen 9/2 is still a maiden after 15 runs and might have been flattered when 3rd in a slow run race so could be added to my list of lays. Company Minx is my 3rd top rated and has the best of the draw in stall 1 but has been held up for a run most often in its previous runs, Shamshon can struggle to stay this distance if there's a really fast early pace but still comes out in 2nd top spot on my ratings and this race could be run to suit it. Viewfromthestars is one of the known front running types but would need to improve a good few spots time wise but the other front running type is DELEGATE THE LADY 12/1 (EW) who is drawn widest of all but it might not be too much of a hindrance with very little other early paced types in this field, yes it hasn't been in good form lately but has been known to spring back to form without prior warning and if getting to the front here could be hard to catch and has to be an each way punt at a double figure price.

4:35 Doncaster Racing Tips (30th July)

DONCASTER 4.35

I can see a couple of front running types in this sprint, Redzone 10/1 may need further, True Mason 15/2 doesn't seem to want good to firm going and Dandy Dimont 9/1 may struggle to stay the distance with a fast early gallop so all could be worth laying if value to do so, Thornaby Park 11/2 would need to improve time wise to win this race so could be added to that list, Giogiobbo 15/2 is one of the possible pacesetters and my joint 3rd top rated so could do enough to make the frame, Mutanaaseq 11/1 is the other joint 3rd top rated and likes to stay on at the finish after tracking the leaders in the early stages, EAST STREET REVUE 11/2 is the other known front running type and if getting to the front could be hard to peg back but I do have CAPTAIN VALLO 16/1 (EW) rated 1lb higher so if everything goes its way it could pick up the leader virtually on the line and i will back them both to cover the angles with the latter's price it has to be an each way wager.

Again I can see a couple of known front running types, I will look to lay Kath's Toyboy 9/2 who may prefer a longer distance and has never won over this trip, I Am A Dreamer 12/1 is a possible pacesetter and my 4th top rated so could go well, Big Impact 9/2 and Harbour Storm 25/1 are my joint 2nd top rated with the latter being the other known front running type and all 3 of them might be worth backing as covering bets as none of them have good trainer and or jockey stats so I'm not sure which one/s of them will run to their best but my top rated is REAL ESTATE 7/1 but once again its trainer/jockey stats ain't great so my stakes wont be at full strength.

3:25 Musselburgh Racing Tips (28th April)

MUSSELBURGH 3.25

A poor turnout of just 6 runners and the problem of no known front running types in the race which always makes analysis very much harder, I think The Thin Blue Line 3/1 might prefer some cut in the ground and it might be too short for Bossipop 11/1 so I could look to lay both of them, Primo's Comet 6/1 can handle good going but isn't so keen on good to firm ground so another that I could lay if its fast ground, Cool Spirit and Good Luck Fox are in joint 2nd top spot but I will be relying on ATLYAH 9/4 who won last time out on an AW surface a word of warning is that it hasn't won from 6 tries on grass but a repeat of its best Ripon time from 2021 would see it winning with a bit in hand.

LINGFIELD 4.05

A nice race for a class 6 affair where I can see 2 or possibly 3 runners that have been known to lead before although I do think they will only be setting the race up for something coming from off the pace, I don't think its a race where you should be betting very heavily and maybe the lays are the way to make a profit from this race I've got Kodiak Attack 7/1 who needs to improve time wise may prefer the Tapeta surface compared to this Polytrack surface plus has poor jockey 0-3 and trainer 0-20 with its older horses stats, San Juan 4/1 seems better on the Tapeta surface but does have good jockey stats so it will be a small lay and Perfect Symphony 11/2 who might prefer further, who might all be of value to lay, I will be having a small bet on REAL ESTATE 7/1 who recorded its best rating over this course and distance which is always a bonus.

Capla Spirit 6/1 may find this distance too far with the fast pace I expect to be applied in this race while Legende D’Art 6/1 may need further to show its best so both might be worth laying if of value price wise, there's only 2lbs between Stone Circle, Storm Melody and Mr Fayez so they could be each way chances but I will be hoping that SOYOUNIQUE 10/3 can set the pace here and lead all the way for a victory, it has good trainer 16% and jockey 19% stats which is usually a positive and a reproduction of its best rating from Lingfield this year it would win a shade cosily.

Soyounique 10/3 3rd -1pt

CHEPSTOW 6.10

Not a bad looking class 5 race with one known front runner among the 10 runners, both Ruby Cottage 5/1 and Sweet Pursuit 10/1 may need this run for race fitness and worth laying if single figure prices especially the latter who has needed its 1st run after a break every time so far, there's 5 horses that have been in poor form in their recent races which narrows the field down but I expect those 5 will all be double figure prices, Some Nightmare 7/4 might go ok here and could make the frame but isn't an each way price, I will be splitting my money in this race between VAPE 5/2 who is my top rated but doesn't have the best trainer/jockey stats and the trainer hasn't had a winner in the last 2 weeks while TAWAAFOQ 13/2 is the one that could set the pace to this race, it has won before first time after coming back from a break and has been known to win before without giving any warning about coming back to form and the trainer does have a decent 19% strike rate at this course.
