3:45 Nottingham Racing Tips (15th June)

NOTTINGHAM 3.45 

Class 3 6F 7 Runners.

A very competitive race but there isn't any known front running types in the race so who knows what to expect and to be honest this race might be best left alone. In fact, if you've had enough of betting horses for the day, take a look at these Top casino bonuses for a change of scene as I certainly can't find anything I could lay with any confidence, Temple Bruer 9/2 is well weighted on it best form and comes out top on my figures but has never won at this level before on turf but has done so on an artificial surface so it could repeat that here, Lethal Nymph 9/2 is 2nd top rated only 2lbs from being at the top of my ratings while Another Romance 3/1 is only rated 1lb lower and sits in 3rd top spot it hasn't run for 250 days so maybe something has been amiss with it but it has won before when returning after a break and its last 4 runs were in higher class races than these so could go well if fully fit, i had thought about dutching the trio but they are the 1st 3 in the betting on the early tissue prices so whether it will be of value to do so only the betting will tell. 

NEWBURY 4.30 

Class 4 6F 9 Runners.

The early pace will most likely be set by Shobiz 5/4 but I doubt it can lead all the way for the victory but it could make the frame if others falter. I don't think there will be anything else of value to lay in this race so I'm either going to visit robbyriches.com or wait and see if these horses are single-figure odds. The three at the bottom of the handicap all look potentially well weighted using their best ratings so any or all of them could run well but I will be relying on SARAH'S VERSE 14/1 (EW) who is a hold up type so should be finishing fast nearing the finish and the switch back to the jockey, who is 2-6 on the stables older horses, looks a positive booking but the trainers 0-11 at this course is a worry so my stakes will be kept low staked each way bet.

HAYDOCK 7.10 

Class 4 5F 10 Runners.

With 4 front running types in this race it should be a fast and furious dash, On good to firm ground *The Dunkirk Lads 11/2 can struggle to say the distance so I will look to lay this one along with Brian The Snail 5/2 who won last time but this 9yo seems to be on the decline and may find this step up in class too much for it here and the same applies to Street Life who won a class 6 race last time out in a slow time. Dandy Dinmont might prefer a longer distance but with a fast early pace it ought to be staying on strongly at the finish. SO SMART 12/1 is my 4th top rated and best of the quartet so could go well from the front as there is only 4lbs between my top 4 ratings and will at least be having a covering bet on this one. My main bet will be on REGAL ENVOY 16/1 (EW) who likes to track the leaders and then stay on strongly at the finish and today's conditions should be ideal for it and its 2 runs this year can be ignored but hopefully they will have tuned it up for this race and if big enough an each way punt then that will be my bet.

5:30 Wolverhampton Racing Tips (7th February)

WOLVERHAMPTON 5.30

VESPASIAN 7/2 one of 5 horses that has been known to lead before but this one isn't in my top 4 ratings so will need to improve time wise to win here. 

ALGHEED 6/1 has the best of the draw in stall 2 of the likely pacesetters and is my 4th top rated so could do enough to make the frame if others falter.

INTERVENTION 5/1 stall 8 isn't ideal for this front running type and time wise its my 5th top rated so would need others to falter to make the frame. 

WALKING ON CLOUDS 9/2 stall 6 for this front running type and its rating when winning last time out at Southwell makes it my joint 2nd top rated. 

BALLYARE 18/1 would need to improve a few spots time wise to win this race but I expect it will be one of the outsiders in the betting. 

SARAH'S VERSE 16/1 (EW) is a hold up type who then stays on strongly at the finish and its best course and distance rating from 2022 makes it my top rated.

MUSCIKA 25/1 is versatile when it comes to racing tactics but I doubt it will try to lead with the make-up of this race and it needs to improve time wise and another outsider in the betting.

IDOAPOLOGISE 5/1 can be held up or track the leaders but would need to improve a good few spots time wise to win this race. 

Q TWENTY BOY 40/1 has a lowly rating over this distance as its best form comes over shorter distances but will be an outsider in the betting in this race.

SUMMARY In this apprentice jockey sprint I can see the four or possibly five front running types in this race getting into a battle to set the pace to this race and could then play into the hands of something coming from off the pace and in this race I'm hoping that SARAH'S VERSE 16/1 (EW) will be the one to pick up the leaders nearing the finish and finish strongly enough to get back to winning ways and the apprentice jockey has rode twice before for the stable and won one of them so does well for the stable and at the price it has to be an each way wager.

2:35 Southwell Racing Tips (21st January)

SOUTHWELL 2.35 

Typical a nice class 3 race with decent prize money and only 7 runners are entered, *Spirit Of Nguru might need further to show its best and with no known front runner in the race it might not be run to suit it so maybe worth laying, I have got JUSTCALLMEPETE 5/4 as my top rated on course and distance ratings, it has won its last 3 races and has been stepped up one level in class but it seems to be an improving horse and has to have every chance of completing the four-timer in this race.

LINGFIELD 3.22 

Lord Riddiford, La Roca del Fuego and The Bell Conductor have been known to lead before but i think the top weighted The Bell Conductor who has won 4 from 5 races its had on an artificial surface but is now racing off an official rating of 95 which might be above where its capable of winning so I couldn't back it. Silky Wilkie seems a better horse over a longer distance but will be staying on nearing the finish but whether it will get there in time I'm not sure but it would be enough to at least put me off backing it. STRONG POWER 9/2 is usually held up for a late run where it stays on powerfully nearing the finish and has been racing in higher class affairs compared to this class 3 race and has good trainer/jockey stats which is usually a positive and will be carrying my money.

This is one of those poor class 6 stakes races where they all carry the same weight, there's 12 runners with just one known front running type amongst them and that one could lead all the way here. I think Paddy K and Danah Star might need further to show there best so I will lay them if of value to do so along with Gorgeous General who is better over a shorter trip, I will be backing USTATH 2/1 who has led before and has the stall 1 draw in this race so if getting to the front and gaining control of the rails could lead all the way but the race sure wont take much winning so any stakes will be kept low, it finished 2nd yesterday, Friday, so if turning out here so quickly then connections must be expecting it to go one better here.

WOLVERHAMPTON 6.30 

A field of 12 for this class 5 sprint where i can see 3 horses, Araifjan, Rebel Redemption and Muscika that have led before and they are fairly closely rated so any of the trio could lead but if Rebel Redemption is allowed an easy lead it could do enough to at least make the frame but stall 12 isn't ideal, but I think they will be setting the race up for a hold up type, Beauzon is my 4th top rated with El Hombre sitting in 3rd top spot and 2nd spot is taken by Porfin so any of them could make the frame if reproducing their previous best ratings but I have SARAH'S VERSE 16/1 (EW) rated top using a course and distance rating from last year, its been awhile since the stable last had a winner but the apprentice jockeys only previous ride for the stable resulted in a win so I'm hoping for the same here but at the price it has to be an each way wager.

WOLVERHAMPTON 7.00 Div I

This 1st division of a 0-50 stakes race is very poor even for the class and in all honesty the race is probably best left alone, none of them have been in great form recently but something has to win the race. Oxygen Thief recorded a rating from this year at Chelmsford which would put it in 4th top spot but it only just registered at the very bottom end of my ratings and may be better over further. Lesha is my 3rd top but this surface isn't its favourite but could still make the frame, Tommytwohoots is my 2nd top rated on a course and distance time it recorded last year so could go well here but CREEK HARBOUR 6/1 has a rating from 2021 which is way better than anything else recorded by anything else in this race, it has been running over longer distances and has only had one course and distance run since then but the apprentice jockey is 0-6 when riding for this stable but this horse has been known to lead before and if deploying those tactics here it could possibly lead all the way but the betting will decide whether i think its value enough to take the risk of backing it.

WOLVERHAMPTON 7.30 Div II 

The top weight At Your Service would have a decent chance if able to reproduce its best 2021 rating but its not ran for 529 days and its form had tailed off prior to its layoff so might need this run for fitness. I expect that Inaam will be to the fore in the betting after it finished 3rd last time out over 7 furlongs and weakened close home, it is the only horse in the race rated 50 so that might also restrict its price but I think its a much better prospect when racing on the Polytrack surface and will look to lay this one. The early pace could be set by VIEWFROMTHESTARS 6/1 who is ideally drawn in stall 2 to lead and if getting to the front and reproducing its best course and distance rating from 2022 it could get back to winning ways.

5:00 Wolverhampton Racing Tips (27th September)

WOLVERHAMPTON 5.00 Div I

This division has just the one, Araifjan, known front running type and if it gets an easy lead it could do enough to make the frame being my 3rd top rated horse, the 3yo Ischia was made favourite for its last race where it finished 4th and hasn't won in 7 previous attempts to break its duck and its one run at Lingfield wasn't a good race and it failed to register on my figures so maybe worth laying and hope the switch to this Tapeta surface doesn't see the horse improve, The Nail Gunner is my 2nd top rated and could therefore make the frame so maybe worth an each way wager if its a big enough price, my money will be riding on the 3yo YAAHOBBY 10/1 (EW) who can be held up or track the leaders and then stay on the stronger at the finish and as usual at the price it has to be an each way wager.

Just 8 runners for this 2nd division so I hope they all run in case I find an each way wager, there is a couple of known front running types, Apache Star and Eldeyaar, and they are my joint 4th top rated so there should be a decent early pace but I doubt either can do enough to hold on for the win, Palifico is my 3rd top rated so could be worth an each way punt, my 2nd top rated horse Another Angel can struggle to stay the distance if the early pace is really fast, it prefers to lead, which I doubt will happen here and then set its own slightly slower pace so as to save something for the finish but I will be backing the 3yo JUSTJAMIE 14/1 (EW) who likes to track the leaders and then stay on the stronger nearing the finish and once again the price means I can go with an each way wager.

I should probably leave this race alone because 4 of the 7 runners are 3yo who could still improve from their last run without warning and a lack of data makes it much harder to analyse properly but the top weight SARAH'S VERSE 10/3 is my top rated and a repeat of its best rating over this course and distance this year would see it winning the race a shade cosily that's if nothing else improves rapidly so I'm hoping it will be worth a small wager.

5:55 Wolverhampton Racing Tips (17th September)

WOLVERHAMPTON 5.55 

A class 5 race over 6 furlongs with 11 runners but only one known front running type in the shape of the 3yo Apache Star and if getting to the front could be hard to catch being my 4th top rated and could do enough to at least make the frame, the betting will decide whether there's anything worthwhile laying in the race, rated 3lbs higher Eternal Glory comes out 3rd best on my figures and could be another that might be worth an each way interest, Endowed is my 2nd top rated in this race and it won last time out 18 days ago on turf so its in good form which is always a positive but i will be entrusting SARAH'S VERSE 6/1 with my money it has made the frame in 4 of its last 6 races, winning 2 of them and a repeat of its course and distance rating from earlier this year would see it winning with a bit to spare.

This first division of a class 6 race over 6 furlongs is so bad with only 2 runners registering on my graphs, the early tissue prices have it down as 7/1 the field which shows how open the race is and sure wont take much winning, I'm not sure there will be anything worth laying, Creek Harbour is my 2nd top rated even though this doesn't appear to be its favoured surface so could be worth a small each way interest, my pennies will be riding on GRIGGY 5/1 who showed a return to form when finishing 2nd and a repeat of that running ought to be good enough to win this race.

This division is the slightly better one but once again it wont take much winning, if the top weight Admirable Lad is the favourite, which according to the early tissue prices it is at 10/3, then i would look to lay it although it could still make the frame, most of the runners are a mixed bag of in poor form or never won over this distance, only 5 horses have won over the distance and only 4 done enough get a registered rating, Clashaniska is my joint 3rd top rated along with the top weight, Qaaraat hasn't been in the best of form lately but this is such a poor race if it came back to anything like its best from 2021 it would make the frame but I am hoping that SECRET TO SUCCESS 20/1 (EW) can lead from stall 2 and gain control of the rails and then again if able to reproduce its best 2021 rating would lead all the way and it has to be an each way punt at the price.

2:25 Ayr Racing Tips (11th July)

AYR 2.25 

I was going to leave this race alone until I noticed EARN YOUR STRIPES 11/1 (EW) was entered I tipped this one up on Saturday at Hamilton where it finished too late and only managed to snatch 2nd place at the finish so if they run again here I think connections will be expecting it to go one better and this does look an easier opportunity and its a shame it ran so well at Hamilton because the price will reflect that run and it will be much shorter than the ten to one price that was forecast on the early tissue prices but hey ho a winners a winner and I will be baking it if it runs here so quickly after its last run. I am surprised at the odds available I will definitely be backing it each way at the odds.

A 9 runner race with just the one known front runner, 4 runners seem to have virtually no chance and I would expect them all to be biggish double figure prices, I think both Minhaaj and Maybe Tonight both race as though further would suit them better but they are my 3rd and 2nd top rated horses while my top rated is PRETTY SHIFTWELL 7/2 who is the aforementioned front runner so if it does set the pace it ought to prove too hard to catch and will lead all the way for the victory.

A nice looking class 5 All-Weather race with 13 runners and with 3 known front runners it should be a true run race, Lazyitis may struggle to stay the distance in a fast run race but it hasn't run over this distance on an artificial surface before so its just my opinion from looking at its turf form, Temple Bruer and Society Lion will need to improve time wise to win this race although the latter will be trying to stay on at the finish, Show Maker my 4th top rated could run to the fore but I'm not sure if its quite quick enough to lead on its own and the same applies Politics who is 3rd best on my figures but my top rated horse COOPERATION 14/1 (EW) is another front runner but its best rating comes from Chelmsford on the Polytrack surface but if taking the Tapeta surface here it could prove hard to peg back and the jockey booking looks a positive move but just in case it doesn't take to the surface I will also be backing my 2nd top rated horse *SARAH'S VERSE 8/1 (EW) who is usually held up for a late run and this race could be run to suit it, now with the betting i will be backing them both each way.

A field of 7 with 2 known front runners, King O Jungle is a 3yo who might need further to show its best and only has slow speed figures at this distance, Impeach and Bell Shot could be hidden dangers although I'm not sure exactly what they are capable of in this race, A SURE WELCOME 9/2 is the one that I think will set the pace to the race and being my 2nd top rated it could prove hard to catch and if allowed an easy lead could lead all the way but I do have LEQUINTO 4/1 rated higher and if this one had better trainer/jockey stats it might have been my sole bet but I will go with the 2 bets to cover the angles.

Just the 6 runners but luckily a couple of known front running types but I think La Roca Del Fuego and/or Spring Bloom will be setting the race up for something attacking in the closing stages although the latter might have been a bet if it wasn't for the trainers 0-31 at this course and the jockeys 1-18 records as its my 2nd top rated, Grandfather Tom hasn't shown much time wise for quite a while now so might be worth laying if a single figure price, Gherkin might need further so maybe another to lay, while the 3yo Astral Beat could be a bit of a hidden danger as it has faded over 6 furlongs so this trip might be ideal but my money will be riding on *THE PRINCE'S POET 13/2 who is my top rated and has good trainer and jockey stats.

3:40 Lingfield Racing Tips (2nd April)

LINGFIELD 3.40 

EXISTANT will be trying to stay on at the finish but may need further and needs to improve time wise to win this race and looks very poor value but being a 4yo it could improve further so never say never. 

BEDFORD FLYER this front running type could win this race using a time recorded in 2020 but its 45 since the stable last had a winner and it may need the run after being off for 225 days. 

ONE NIGHT STAND the other known front running type and the one I think will do best of the front runners and has the plum stall 1 draw to help its cause and is my joint top rated. 

STRONG POWER is a strong finishing sort and is weighted just to reverse form with one of today's rivals and is my joint top rated and has good trainer/jockey stats.

NIGHT ON EARTH will be trying to stay on at the finish but I think maybe too late to catch the leaders in time and might be worth laying. 

MOKAATIL needs to improve time wise to win this race but I expect it will be one of the outsiders but one to lay if a single figure price. 

AUTUMN FLIGHT is my 3rd top rated but might be found wanting in the closing stages and may need this run for fitness but i expect another outsider. 

SUMMARY: A very competitive class 2 race where I expect the pace to be set by Bedford Flyer and/or One Night Stand and the latter could be dangerous if getting an easy lead as the former may need this run for fitness, Existent 5/4 may be better when racing over further and time wise it needs to improve and looks poor value, I will be backing 2 horses firstly ONE NIGHT STAND 12/1 who could be dangerous if allowed an easy lead but it is joint top rated with STRONG POWER 5/1 and the latter will be trying to stay on strongly at the finish and is weighted just to reverse form when they finished 1st and 2nd in a Listed race earlier this year but with only 0.02 seconds between them on the clock it will need a perfect run to pick the leader up and with such small margins I have to back them both.

This is a class 5 race but to be honest I can find a negative for every horse, Amazing Maya can record a good rating but in lower class races so may be outclassed in this field, I expect the early pace will be set by Lua De Mel or more likely by BRAZEN BELLE who is my top rated using class 5 ratings but the trainer hasn't had a winner from 176 runners over 2037 days which is a big negative but this race could fall into its lap but just in case it doesn't reproduce its best then the top weight SARAH'S VERSE could be the one to win the race but this one hasn't won from 7 previous AW races and the trainers not had a winner from 25 runners over 66 days so my stakes will be kept to a minimum.
