3:45 Nottingham Racing Tips (15th June)

NOTTINGHAM 3.45

Class 3 6F 7 Runners.

A very competitive race but there isn't any known front running types in the race so who knows what to expect and to be honest this race might be best left alone. In fact, if you've had enough of betting horses for the day, take a look at these Top casino bonuses for a change of scene as I certainly can't find anything I could lay with any confidence, Temple Bruer 9/2 is well weighted on it best form and comes out top on my figures but has never won at this level before on turf but has done so on an artificial surface so it could repeat that here, Lethal Nymph 9/2 is 2nd top rated only 2lbs from being at the top of my ratings while Another Romance 3/1 is only rated 1lb lower and sits in 3rd top spot it hasn't run for 250 days so maybe something has been amiss with it but it has won before when returning after a break and its last 4 runs were in higher class races than these so could go well if fully fit, i had thought about dutching the trio but they are the 1st 3 in the betting on the early tissue prices so whether it will be of value to do so only the betting will tell.

NEWBURY 4.30

Class 4 6F 9 Runners.

The early pace will most likely be set by Shobiz 5/4 but I doubt it can lead all the way for the victory but it could make the frame if others falter. I don't think there will be anything else of value to lay in this race so I'm either going to visit robbyriches.com or wait and see if these horses are single-figure odds. The three at the bottom of the handicap all look potentially well weighted using their best ratings so any or all of them could run well but I will be relying on SARAH'S VERSE 14/1 (EW) who is a hold up type so should be finishing fast nearing the finish and the switch back to the jockey, who is 2-6 on the stables older horses, looks a positive booking but the trainers 0-11 at this course is a worry so my stakes will be kept low staked each way bet.

HAYDOCK 7.10

Class 4 5F 10 Runners.

With 4 front running types in this race it should be a fast and furious dash, On good to firm ground *The Dunkirk Lads 11/2 can struggle to say the distance so I will look to lay this one along with Brian The Snail 5/2 who won last time but this 9yo seems to be on the decline and may find this step up in class too much for it here and the same applies to Street Life who won a class 6 race last time out in a slow time. Dandy Dinmont might prefer a longer distance but with a fast early pace it ought to be staying on strongly at the finish. SO SMART 12/1 is my 4th top rated and best of the quartet so could go well from the front as there is only 4lbs between my top 4 ratings and will at least be having a covering bet on this one. My main bet will be on REGAL ENVOY 16/1 (EW) who likes to track the leaders and then stay on strongly at the finish and today's conditions should be ideal for it and its 2 runs this year can be ignored but hopefully they will have tuned it up for this race and if big enough an each way punt then that will be my bet.

7:55 Nottingham Racing Tips (30th May)

NOTTINGHAM 7.55

A poor turnout of just 5 runners for this class 4 dash and the pace could be set by Majeski Man but this one can find this distance a bit too short so maybe it cannot lead in this race but what will take on the role I'm not sure. Laheg is another that might be better served by a longer distance race, Blind Beggar seems better when there's some cut in the ground so it might not be seen at its best here, Bert Kibbler is capable of recording a good rating but usually in lower class races so that's 4 horses with negatives which leaves me with LIPSINK 8/1 who recorded its best rating at Windsor last year and can be held up or track the leaders so shouldn't be unsuited whatever the early pace is like.

1:45 Nottingham Racing Tips (12th August)

NOTTINGHAM 1.45

Class 6 race over 5 furlongs with 8 runners, I might look to lay Porfin 4/1 who won last time out over a furlong further so might find today's trip too short also No Guts No Glory 11/2 who’s form looks quite good on paper but they were all relatively slow times and another where further might suit it better, Harrogate looks the one likely to set the pace to the race and if allowed to dictate it could possibly lead all the way but it hasn't been in the best of form lately, GRANDFATHER TOM 3/1 is my 2nd top rated and top on just 2022 ratings while COLEY'S KOKO 6/1 is 2nd top on 2022 figures and top rated by just 1lb on overall figures, neither have great trainer/jockey stats so I will have to back both of them.

NOTTINGHAM 2.20

Class 4 race over 5 furlongs with 7 runners, there is 3 that have led before and Abate may do best of that trio being my 2nd top rated horse, *Ballet Steps will be a lay if of value to do so as I don't think good to firm ground suits it, Good Luck Fox is my 3rd top rated but top spot belongs to the 3yo DUSKY PRINCE 9/2 who has been in good form completing its hattrick of wins before finishing 4th last time out and a repeat of its best time from Goodwood would be good enough to see it back to winning ways.

WOLVERHAMPTON 4.18

Class 6 race over 6 furlongs with 9 runners, I can see a couple of known pacesetters in Ustath my joint 4th top rated and Stay Smart who is my 3rd top rated and this one is dropped in class to run in this race but hasn't been in good form recently so its the old old battle between form and class but I couldn't back it on its recent form but with an easy lead and rejuvenated by meeting lessor horses it just could possibly win this race but it too big a risk for me to get involved unless its an each way price or its seriously backed, Q Twenty Boy 7/2 is a course and distance winner but can struggle to stay the distance if there's a fast early gallop so this race might not be run to suit it, Mutabaahy comes out 2nd best on my figures but this 7yo hasn't shown any noteworthy form of late but could make the frame if on a going day but my money will be riding on CATESBY 5/1 who recorded its best rating earlier this year and showed its liking for this Tapeta surface when finishing 2nd last time out at Southwell after being slowly away and where it was beaten by Ustath but meets that rival on 8lbs better terms and if away on level terms here should reverse the form.

Catesby 5/1 4th -1pt

NEWMARKET 5.45

Class 4 race over 6 furlongs with 7 runners, I'm not sure what to expect from Counsel who won last time out over a furlong further and hasn't any form over this distance that was a decent enough race and it was always up with in the firing line so could easily be good enough to win this race, on ratings over today's distance Wajd comes out in joint top spot along with Equiano Springs so I think this race is best left alone.

-

THIRSK 6.07

Class 4 race over 5 furlongs with 8 runners and 5 of them have been known to lead before so it should be a fast and furious dash, Alligator Alley 5/2 hasn't been in good form lately and hasn't won since 2019 and although this is a drop in class I'm not sure whether I should lay it or not, on just 2022 ratings there is only 1lb between my top 3 horses Birkenhead, Khabib and MODULAR MAGIC 8/1 but the latter has a rating from 2021 that would see it winning this race a shade cosily and looking at the early tissue prices it might be the value call in this race and if getting to the front it might prove hard to peg back.

3:50 Nottingham Racing Tips (9th August)

NOTTINGHAM 3.50

A five runner class three race where they are either three or four year olds, I can see one known front running type which always help my analysis, I'm not sure what conditions Audience 15/8 wants to get back to winning ways as it has faded over six furlongs but also ran as though further would suit it better, Burning Cash 4/1 and Korker 2/1 are closely rated but a few spots behind Whethedealisdone 5/1 in 2nd top spot but my top rated horse NIGHT ON EARTH 14/1 is also the likely pacesetter and could win this race from the front and certainly looks worth the risk at the price its a shame an each way bet isn't really worthwhile with only 2 places up for grabs.

Night On Earth 14/1 1st +14pts

CARLISLE 6.50

A nine runner class four handicap and I cannot find a front running type amongst them so caution is the key to this race especially stake wise, this race might not be run to suit Secretinthepark 9/1 and this one is outside my top four ratings while Indian Sounds 9/2 has been in poor form recently so could be worth laying if of value to do so, Ginger Jam 16/1 is my third top rated horse and is usually held up for a late run so may not be suited to today's race, the top weight Ventura Flame 3/1 is my joint top rated but another that is usually held up for a late run may not get to the front quickly enough so I will be relying on SACRED JEWEL 12/1 (EW) to do the business it has decent trainer and jockey stats which is always a bonus and likes to track the early pacesetters, it won two races ago over today's distance at Leicester, its last run can be ignored as it was hampered leaving the stalls and didn't get involved in the race but I will be having an each way bet at the price on offer.

1:45 Nottingham Racing Tips (23rd June)

NOTTINGHAM 1.45

Only 4 runners with half of them being 3yo’s which doesn't help my analysis, Miss Calculation 7/1 may need further and isn't proven on good to firm ground so maybe worth laying, As If By Chance 3/1 needs to improve time wise to win this race, Aphelios 11/8 is my joint top rated thanks to the apprentice jockeys 5lb claim and has had only 1 run for this stable before which he won on, PRINCE OF BEL LIR 3/1 is my other joint top rated and the only known front runner in the race so this one could be able to lead all the way.

Prince Of Bel Lir 3/1 1st +3pts

Total +3pts

NOTTINGHAM 4.05

This race isn't much better with 5 runners and 4 of them have been known to lead before and I think the race could be between HIGH SECURITY 9/2 and EEH BAH GUM 10/3 as long as they don't cut each others throat in a desperate battle to lead, they flip flop as my top rated with the latter being ridden by a 5lb claiming apprentice who certainly looks worth his claim, I have negatives against the other 3 runners in the race but if they do go off at a madcap fast pace then possibly Stone Circle 7/4 could follow up its win from just a few days ago but isn't of much value so I will go with dutching my top rated pair.

Eeh Bah Gum 10/3 2nd -1pt
High Security 11/2 4th -1pt

HAMILTON 8.30

Up to 6 runners for this race where Huraiz seems the most likely pacesetter but this one hasn't been in good form lately and has poor trainer/jockey stats which puts me off, Primo's Comet can record a good rating but might get outclassed at this level but what will win this race is something I cannot fathom and maybe the best way to make a profit from this race is with a lay and I would look to lay Boogie Time 5/2 who may need further and this race most likely will not be run to suit it plus the apprentice jockey has a dire 1-40 win ratio for the stable.

HAMILTON 9.00

WOW a field of 10 for this race with a couple of known front running types amongst them, Fircombe Hall 4/1 finished 2nd last time out and actually recorded its best rating that day but it was still a relatively slow time and might therefore have been flattered by that result and will be much shorter here than its chance merits the trainer is 0-21 at this course and the jockey is 0-6 for the stable so certainly looks one to lay, Elladora 10/1 who likes to track the leaders starts off as my top rated but drops to 2nd top spot when an opponent has a 5lb claiming apprentice on board so looks as though it could make the frame and possibly be worth an each way bet, as for the winner I think MACHO PRIDE 4/1 could set the pace to this race and if leading could be hard to peg back and the apprentice jockey is 1-3 when riding the stables older horses.

2:00 Lingfield Racing Tips (13th June)

LINGFIELD 2.00

I love the AW races mainly because the stupid racecourses keep watering the grass at the earliest opportunity and good to firm is hardly ever the going, only 6 runners here but there is 2 known front runners, I think that Ford Madox Brown 9/1 might need further to show its best and i will look to lay it if its a single figure price, the 3yo Baileys Accolade may do best of those coming from off the pace and being a youngster it could still have some improvement to come and it wouldn't be too much of a surprise if it won the race but I will stick with SWISS PRIDE 3/1 who is my top rated and one of the front running types so I'm hoping it can lead all the way for victory.

CARLISLE 2.45

There's eleven runners in this race with just Kolossos known as a front running type but it would need to improve time wise to win this race but could if allowed an easy lead it could do enough to make the frame but I doubt it could win the race but I doubt it will be of value to lay but I could look to lay Stone Circle 9/2 who might need further on good to firm ground to show its best form, Muatadel 7/1 who also doesn't seem to like good to firm ground and might struggle to stay the distance if there's a fast early pace, and Canaria Prince 9/2 who is still a maiden after 7 runs and might be better when racing over a shorter distance, Sharrabang 20/1 is my 2nd top rated horse and could go well if it springs back to form but it hasn't shown much lately so I will be backing SINGE ANGLAIS 16/1 (EW) who becomes my top rating with the jockeys 7lb claim and they have a 2-9 win ratio for the stable on their older horses and also has good 27% trainer stats it is also dropped in class to run to run in this race and at such a big price it has to be given as an each way punt.

NOTTINGHAM 6.20

A ten runner race where the early pace could be set by Rhythm and it might be able to do enough from the front to make the frame as its fairly close between my sixth and 2nd top rated horses, looking for something to lay I have got 2 that I hope will be single figure prices, Temple Bruer might need further to show its best, Snow Berry who may be outclassed at this level, then there's Grandfather Tom who hasn't shown much time wise since 2020 even when it was third last time out but if finding that 2020 form again it could win this race but I wouldn't want to bank on it to win but I'm not sure I could lay it either as for the winner my money will be riding on VAN GERWEN 7/1 who likes to track the leaders and then stay on strongly at the finish but admittedly it has poor trainer stats but if able to repeat its best time recorded earlier this year at Ripon it would win a shade cosily.

Van Gerwen 9/1 1st +9pts

WINDSOR 6.40

I haven't got a lot of data to work with for some of the entrants of this race so this is going to be a bit of a punt as I was going to leave the race alone until I saw the rating of BEYOND EQUAL 13/2 who likes to track the leaders before staying on the stronger at the finish, the trainer has a 22% win ratio at this course and the jockey has had two rides and one winner when riding for the stable so it looks like connections are expecting a big run here so it might be worth a small wager.

3:40 Nottingham Racing Tips (22nd May)

NOTTINGHAM 3.40

PEERLESS has shown very little from its 3 runs so far this year abroad and time wise its best which it recorded at Lingfield on turf wouldn't be good enough to win this race and its never won at today's class 4 level.

ABATE is quite versatile when it comes to racing tactics and with no other known front runner in the race it could set the pace, it would need to improve on its best from this years 2 runs does have my top rating using a c/d rating from 2021.

LIHOU can sometimes be slow away and is therefore usually ridden from the back of the field but does finish strongly nearing the finish and comes out in 2nd top spot on my figures.

FANTASY MASTER is another hold up type but its best rating recorded at Haydock in 2021 would only put it in 4th top spot so could possibly make the frame.

FOUR ADAAY its preferred running style is from the middle of the field and then stay on at the finish and comes out 3rd top rated so might be worth an each way bet.

I'M MABLE another one that likes to run in the middle of the pack and then stay on at the finish but would need to improve time wise to win this race.

SHOW ME A SUNSET is outside my top four ratings but does like to track the leaders but its 2 runs on grass have been very poor and it would need to improve on its best AW rating.

GRANDFATHER TOM hasn't produced a recordable rating since 2020 and its best form and ratings have come from lower class races than this one.

SUMMARY: Only 8 runners so lets hope they all take part in case there's an each way opportunity in this race, I would look to lay Peerless 10/1 who despite top weight might be outclassed at this level, I'm Mable 13/2 would need to improve a good few spots to win this race so might be another one to lay, I doubt the bottom pair will be single figure prices so I will leave them alone, Lihou 11/4 is my 2nd top rated and runs on or stays on strongly at the finish and might be the one for the forecast in this race but I will be investing in ABATE 11/2 who is the only one that is known to lead before and could have a easy lead in this race and if reproducing its best rating from 2021 over this course and distance it would be getting back to winning ways.

NOTTINGHAM 2.10

I can see a three front running types in this class 4 dash but one of them Aish 10/1 may be outclassed at this level, Tees Spirit 11/4 is another possible pacesetter but its speed figure when it won last time out was relatively slow in a class 5 race so may not be able to lead here in this higher level event and if its the shortish priced favourite then I would probably look to lay it, Cooperation 20/1 may do better when racing over further but will be staying on at the finish and could make the frame so could be worth an each way interest at the price, I will be hoping that JUST THAT LORD 6/1 who has been racing in higher class races can set the pace to this race and hold on for the win.

A field of 11 runners where 7 of them are 3yo’s and its been a favourite saying of mine that 3yo’s don't win against their elders until at least June (that didn't work out right yesterday with Flaming Rib) so I will at a risk discount all 7 of them from my idea of the winner, looking at the early tissue prices Lullaby Baby 2/1 and Eruption 7/2 are forecast to be the first two in the betting they both won last time out but time wise both races were run in relatively slow times so maybe taken on with a lay bet but it will be kept to small stakes if I do lay them, I will look to lay Lady Nectar 10/1 who might be better when racing over a longer distance, Boudica Bay 18/1 has been known to lead before but hasn't been in good form lately so I'm not sure what to expect from it but could make the frame if leading but I will be having a small bet on COLEY'S KOKO 7/1 who hinted at a return to form when finishing 4th last time out, the stable hasn't had a winner for a long time now, 1244 days to be exact, but in their defence during that time they haven't sent out any runners so i hope this gets the stable a well needed winner.

3:00 Nottingham Racing Tips (29th September)

NOTTINGHAM 3.00

For a class 2 race this one doesn't thrill me, at least there is some early types in the race so I shouldn't complain as it should be a true run affair, the top weight Lezardeux 9/2 might be worth taking on with a lay bet as it can struggle to stay this distance at times and this race might emphasise its lack of stamina for the sixth furlong with 3 known front runners in the race, Jordan Electrics 25/1 is my 3rd top rated might do best of those running to the fore here and might be worth an each way interest at the price, my 2nd top rated is Second Collection 12/1 who did its best at Chester and this course is nothing like that one so I'm not sure if it can reproduce its best time here my money will be riding on WORLD OF WINDHOVEN 12/1 who won two runs ago at Yarmouth where it produced a fast time, fast enough to make it my top rated, its next run was at Newmarket where it finished sixth of six and the trainer reported that the horse didn't like the undulations on that course so its now switched back to a more level flat course so this time wont have any excuses and the trainer is in good form with 4 winners from 11 runners in the last two weeks.

CATTERICK 4.20 Div II

The 1st division of this race has 8 of the 11 runners either being a 3yo or a 4yo and there wasn't enough data to analyse the race, this division isn't great but I might have found a nugget amongst the dirt, looking at the tissue prices the bottom 5 in the handicap will be big prices so will not be of value to lay and I have negatives against everyone of them but I would maybe lay Qaaraat 7/1 and Jakacan 8/1 if they stay in single figure prices but I think they will drift out before the off, I could look to lay Dan De Light 8/1 who looks better over a shorter distance but I have to admit there's no known front running types in this race so maybe a lay isn't a good idea but if that's so then Emjaytwentythree 9/2 may be worth a lay as it might need further and is still a maiden after 13 runs but to lay either might be foolish in fact to lay anything might be downright stupid, Mr Trevor 4/1 is my 3rd top rated using a time from this year at Redcar but wont be an each way price but STRONSAY 9/1 might well be one to consider for and each way bet, admittedly it hasn't been in form lately but its best time from 2020 at Hamilton would actually make it my top rated but the jockeys 0-22 record for the stable and the stables 0-33 at this course do put me off but it might be worth a small investment, which leaves me with GINATO 2/1 who is my 2nd top rated but I expect this one will be the favourite but 1 win from 13 runs doesn't fill me with confidence but does seem the safest option in this race.

1:50 Nottingham Racing Tips (13th August)

NOTTINGHAM 1.50

I'm hoping the ground dries out enough for me to have a bet in this race, so it needs to be good or firmer else no bets, I am a bit wary of laying 3yo’s but I think Zoom Star 8/1 may need further to show its best and may finish too late to catch the leaders in this race so it might be worth taking the risk, Glorious Rio 6/1 who has a fast time on the AW at Newcastle but it hasn't any distance form on turf on good or better going it also has poor trainer/jockey stats and is a maiden on turf after 8 attempts although it has made the frame in 3 of those races so maybe worth laying the win part for this horse, Aleef doesn't want the ground to be too quick underfoot to show its best and the trainers 1-30 record at this course puts me off its chances, I will be backing both of the horses that I think might set the pace to the race, HARROGATE 7/2 is 2nd best on this years times and on overall times but there is only 2lbs between it and BOUDICA BAY 10/3 and this one has good trainer/jockey stats and has been in good form lately with 2 wins and a second place on its last 3 runs.

I love AW racing but this is a strange looking race, there is 2, Little Miss Lilly and Cool Spirit, known front running types and a 3rd, Something Lucky, that has been known to lead but maybe only when nothing else wants to set the pace it has a time from 2019 that would make it my 2nd top rated but has been well below that level since then, the top weight Jungle Inthebungle has a time from Newcastle last year that would make it my top rated but its last few runs were quite poor and may need this run for fitness after 235 days since its last race, Signore Piccollo 9/4 has won this year over this course and distance but it was a slow run affair and might be poor value because of that win plus the trainer is 0-15 for the last 2 weeks, my money will be riding on MANUMISSION 16/1 (EW) who usually stays on strongly nearing the finish over this distance and the trainer has had 3 winners in the last 2 weeks so the stable is in decent form and at the price it has to be given as an each way wager.

This is a decent looking class 4 race but there is a couple of 3yo’s and 6 lightly raced 4yo’s so my stakes will be kept low, Legende D’art 9/2 is still a maiden after 11 runs, it finished 2nd last time out over this distance on good to firm ground but it was a slow run affair and it might have flattered it and looks as though it will be better when racing over further and I will look to lay it, Jack Ryan also might have been flattered when finishing 2nd last time out in a slow run affair and if a single figure price I would look to lay it, Recall The Show comes out 2nd best on my speed figures but the trainer is 0-6 for the last 2 weeks, i will be backing the 3yo AL SAARLYAH 4/1 who likes to track the leaders and then stay on the stronger at the finish and it has good trainer/jockey stats so I'm hoping that's a good pointer.

A field of 8 but no known front runners amongst them which I hate because it does honestly make things so much harder to analyse, the 3yo bottom weight seems better over a shorter distance but not enough for me to lay it but I will look to lay (Triggered 5/1 + Gowanlad) the former won a slow run affair last time out when it won and may have been flattered by the result and the latter might prefer a slower surface and also has poor trainer/jockey stats, Gilt Edge and Show Me A Sunset also have poor stats but not enough for me to lay them, I will be backing STRONBOWE 9/4 who also won last time out and that was good enough for top rating on this years times and the jockey has a 15% win ratio on the stables older horses but my stake wont be at full strength.

NOTTINGHAM 3.55

A 13 runner race with 4 known front runners in the field, I have negatives against Harrogate, Haveoneyerself and Bellevarde but not enough to lay any of them as they all have pieces of form that would/could make the them competitive, I will look to lay both (Aleef 13/2 who may need further when racing on good to firm ground plus has poor trainer/jockey stats and Lucky Beggar 15/2 who has poor trainer stats and may also prefer a longer distance) my 2nd top rated is BOUDICA BAY 15/2 who will be trying to stay on at the finish and this race could be run to suit it if the leaders go off too fast and fade nearing the finish but if TRIPLE JAYE 6/1 gets to the front and doesn't get pushed too hard for the lead it could well lead all the way and I will back them both to cover both angles.

Only 6 runners but there is a couple of front running types in the race, Michael's Choice could try to lead and is my 2nd top rated on 2021 times so could go well especially with an easy lead but I do have BENEFIT STREET 9/2 rated higher and will be the horse I back but this one’s trainer also so has the tissue forecast favourite Araifjan 7/2 in the race, my selection is being ridden by a 3lb claiming apprentice but the latter is being ridden by Ryan Moore who has a 29% win ratio on the stables older horses and this one is the other front running type in the race, it would maybe a good idea to have a covering bet on its stablemate.

Benefit Street 1st 9/2 +4.5pts

HAMILTON 8.30

The main problem again with this race is the lack of known front runners in the field, The Gloaming hasn't any distance form on turf and only a slow time on the AW at Wolverhampton, Get Boosting and Show Me Show Me would both need to improve time wise to win this race, James Watt is my 3rd top rated and Economic Cris is my 2nd top rated and they can both be either held up or track the leaders, my top rated is VENTURA FLAME 11/4 but this one is a hold up type but this race might not be run to suit it if the early pace is on the slow side but as it is a 5 furlong dash then I would expect something to change its usual tactics and go from the front but my stake will be kept on the low side because of the lack of known early pace.

HAMILTON 9.00

This race isn't as competitive as it first looks and I expect a lot of them will be big prices but these 3 (*Alsvinder 9/2 + Toolmaker 4/1 + Nodsasgoodasawink 7/1) are all forecast to be a single figure price and i will lay them if they are of any value, I expect the pace could be set by LANGHOLM 9/4 who is my 3rd top rated and if allowed an easy lead could steal the race from the front and I guess that's the reason why it is the favourite, FIRMDECISIONS 20/1 is my 2nd top rated and usually likes to track the leaders and then stay on strongly at the finish and at the price has to be given as an each way punt, with the apprentice jockeys 5lb claim KILCONQUHAR 12/1 moves to top spot and is usually a hold up type and runs on well nearing the finish so another that has to be an each way wager, I will be backing all 3 of them.

6:50 Nottingham Racing Tips (14th June)

NOTTINGHAM 6.50

LATIN FIVE 8/1 likes to track the leaders and then stay on the stronger nearing the finish and races as though further might help its cause but this race could be run to suit it.

SALUTI 8/1 usually tracks the leaders and then stays on at the finish and comes out 3rd best on my speed figures so could make the frame.

NIBRAS AGAIN 12/1 hasn't shown much time wise since 2019 and usually stays on at the business end of a race but the jockeys 0-8 makes me think this race isn't its target.

BLAZING HOT 10/1 is one of the two known front runners in the race and comes out 2nd best on my figures and could be hard to catch if getting an easy lead but I doubt that will happen but could make frame so maybe value to do as an each way punt.

EEH BAH GUM 3/1 is the other one of the two known front running types in the race and its best time from 2019 would make it my 3rd top rated so could make the frame but its not an each way price.

HELVETIAN 8/1 this one looks as though a longer trip would help its cause and would need to improve time wise to win this race.

BIRKENHEAD 12/1 is a hold up type of horse but it may struggle to catch the leaders in this race and isn't in my top 4 speed ratings.

TOMSHALFBROTHER 7/2 the trainer has a decent 22% win ratio here with their older horses but this one might be better over a longer distance and one I will look to lay at the price.

MAY THE SIXTH 20/1 hasn't any turf form to its name and it would need to improve on its best AW time which came at this distance at Wolverhampton.

CONCLUSION: Blazing Hot and/or Eeh Bah Gum look the likely pacesetters and the former is my 2nd top rated so could be dangerous if allowed an easy lead but I think they could set this race up form the top weight. LATIN FIVE 8/1 who likes a fast pace to aim at and its best time was recorded this year so is my top rated on both recent and overall speed figures.

WINDSOR 7.30

EDRAAK 3/1 comes out 4th top rated on my figures and is usually held up in the rear or in midfield to come with a late run and its best time did come from this year but isn't an each way price.

TINTO 16/1 is usually held up for a late run and is my 2nd top rated but the apprentices 3lb claim makes it very tight between my top 2 ratings and looks worth an each way punt.

OPEN WIDE 11/1 is my 3rd top rated and likes to track the leaders so could do enough to make the frame if an each way price.

IVANTHEENGINE 11/2 has poor recent form to its name in its only 2 races this year and its best time which was at Wolverhampton wouldn't win this race so maybe worth laying if a single figure price.

INDIAN CREEK 4/1 usually likes to race in the midfield in its races and time wise it would need to improve to win this race and may not catch the leaders quickly enough.

A SURE WELCOME 7/2 I think this is the one that will set the pace in this race and is my top rated so ought to prove very hard to catch.

CONCIERGE 10/1 has only slow times from its recent races and may be a better prospect when tried over further than today's 6 furlongs.

HAN SOLO BERGER 11/1 has only slow times over this distance mainly due to the fact it looks better when tried over a shorter distance.

CONCLUSION: Only the one known front runner so A SURE WELCOME 7/2 could go well from the front if allowed an easy lead and will be carrying some of my money but to cover the angles I will also be backing TINTO 16/1 who is usually held up for a late run and there is very little between them on the clock and looks worth having a small each way bet because it looks value at the price.

Tinto 16/1 2nd -1pt

2:45 Nottingham Racing TIps (10th June)

NOTTINGHAM 2.45

Only 7 runners in a class 3 race, Lethal Lunch 11/2 has relatively slow times and may find this trip too short on good to firm ground so I would look to lay it, Muscika comes out 4th top rated using a 2020 time and usually likes to track the leaders, Typhoon Ten comes out 3rd top rated but the jockeys 0-17 record for today's stable makes me think they have another target in mind, Wentworth Falls can be held up or track the pacesetters but would need to improve time wise to win this race that's if others run to their potential, One Night Stand has a reliable time from 2020 at Windsor that would make it my 2nd top rated and has decent trainer/jockey stats but the jockey is 0-4 on the stables older horses but that isn't enough data to be taken as a definite, Dancinginthewoods can track the leaders or be held up but its best time wouldn't put it in my top 4, Case Key has a fast time and it is the only known front running type in the race so could be dangerous with a soft lead but it was recorded in a lower class race and I'm not sure its up to winning in this class.

SUMMARY: Case Key could go well from the front and could make the frame but with only 2 places I wouldn't back it each way, my money will be riding on ONE NIGHT STAND 11/1 who is usually held up or in midfield and then stays on strongly at the finish.

HAYDOCK 6.30

Another 7 runner affair in a class 4 race, Marks Choice is usually held up for a late run but hasn't run recently over this distance on good to firm ground and its best from 2019 is only good enough for joint 4th top spot, Ventura Express prefers to track the leaders but time wise it would need to improve to win this race, Nibras Again has a time from 2019 that would make it my 2nd top rated but its been way below that level since that year, Fox Hill usually stays on at the business end of its races but is only 3rd best on my ratings, Secretinthepark 6/1 is the other joint 4th top rated and usually stays on at the finish over this distance but maybe too late for the win so one to lay, Dark Shot is the one i think will set the pace to the race and comes out top rated using a 2020 time from Leicester, Tenaya Canyon this 3yo hasn't any form over this distance on good to firm ground so I couldn't back or lay this one.

SUMMARY: I am hoping that DARK SHOT 11/1 will set the pace to this race and then should prove hard to reel in, the trainers 0-5 at this course isn't ideal but not really enough data to make a confident analysis and the jockeys 1-24 when riding for this stable does look like a negative so my stakes will be kept low.

2:05 Nottingham Racing Tips (2nd June)

NOTTINGHAM 2.05

This race isn't one to be getting too heavily involved in with over half the field being lightly raced types, I cannot find anything worthwhile to lay, Rainbow Mirage 6/1 who is usually held up for a late run but with no known front runner in the race it might not be run to suit this horse, I will be having a wager on LETHAL ANGEL 9/1 who recorded a time at Yarmouth in 2020 which would see it winning a shade cosily and the jockey is 1-1 on its only previous ride for today's stable which I hope is a positive to connections expecting it to get back to winning ways in this race.

Lethal Angel 9/1 2nd -1pt

AYR 3.55

In this 8 runner dash I can see 3 natural front running types and another that could lead if needs be as those 3 probable pacesetters, Requiems Dream, Suwaan and Indian Pursuit as they all have a negative against their name, the first two not being in good form in their recent runs and the other one may need further on good to firm ground, if TANASOQ 13/2 gets to the front from stall 2 it could be hard to catch and starts off as my top rated being 4lbs clear of my 2nd top rated but as ECONOMIC CRISIS 5/2 is being ridden by a 5lb claiming apprentice and that moves it to top spot by 1lb so with it being so close between them i will be backing them both to cover the angles.

RIPON 7.30

I'm hoping the ground will have dried out for this meeting so please check before you have any bets, its not a race where I can see anything worth laying which shows how competitive this race is, the early pace will be set by either Bossipop 4/1 in stall 1 or Marks Choice 13/2 in stall 6 with the latter being my 3rd top rated it should be a true run affair, Gunmetal 9/1 is the horse sitting in 2nd top spot but I don't think this one wants really fast good to firm ground so it could be ideal for it but i will be backing TREACHEROUS 13/2 who recorded its best time at Goodwood in 2020 and a repeat of that time would be good to get back to winning ways here and it has won 3 of its 6 races over this distance.

Treacherous 13/2 9th -1pt

Total -1pt

RIPON 9.00

I will look to lay the bottom weight Lucky Beggar 3/1 who won last time out but that was in a class 6 race and seems to struggle in class 5 races like this one but knowing its in tip top form is always a positive but it is forecast to be favourite so no value in my thinking, any others that i think can be lay bets are I think going to be big prices, the 2 at the top of the handicap James Watt 9/1 and East Street Review 6/1 could both go well if they can reproduce their best times from 2019 but both of them haven't been near those heights since that year so I will be siding with HARROGATE 5/2 who is the only known front running type in the race and if it does lead it could prove hard to catch.

2:55 Nottingham Racing Tips & Lay Bets (30th September)

NOTTINGHAM 2.55

A big field of 17 runners with a couple of known front runners plus another that would lead if nothing else wanted to so it should be a true run race, the 2 at the bottom of the handicap may be outclassed here so i would lay both (*Production + Case Key) if in single figure prices, of the front runners maybe Belated Breath will do best and could possibly hang on for a place if getting an easy lead, I've got joint 2nd top rated horses in Mokaatil who recorded its best last year while One Night Stand recorded its best time this year at Windsor but my money will be riding, as usual, on my top rated horse BIMBLE 3/1 this progressive 3yo recorded its best time this year at Goodwood and a repeat of that time would see it back into the winners circle.

NOTTINGHAM 4.05

This is a very hard race to analyse to a conclusion, i would look to lay (Commander Han + The Defiant) the former may need a longer trip and the latter maybe outclassed in this class 5 race, theres 5 horses that have been known to lead before so it should be a fast and furious dash, Nibras Again comes out 3rd top on overall times so could be in the mix, Moonraker is top rated on just 2020 times over this distance so must be considered, Dapper Man is a possible pacesetter and has a fast time from 2019 which could make it hard to catch but its form so far this year has been way below that level, Shoot To Kill is a 3yo that comes out 2nd top rated on just 2020 times but only 4th top overall but recent form is probably more relevant, i will go with dutching SHOOT TO KILL 11/2, DAPPER MAN 5/1 and MOONRAKER 16/1 but even then my stakes wont be at full strength.

Dapper Man 5/1 2nd (-1pt)
Moonraker 66/1 Unp (-1pt)
