3:40 Wolverhampton Racing Tips (11th July)

WOLVERHAMPTON 3.40

5F Class-6 11-Runners Their is only 3lbs between my top 5 ratings in this race, the two 3yo’s Harry With Style and Sabah Al Ward both race as though a longer distance would suit them better and with only 1 known front running type it might not have a fast early pace so the race might not be run to suit them. Spanish Agent also stays on at the finish over this distance but is my 5th top rated, Munificent is my top rated and capable of winning this race and won 2 runs ago but isn't a consistent sort and can be slow away which can hamper its chances, Fai Fai is my 2nd top rated and can be held up or track the leaders so could be worth an each way interest, Cuban Grey is my joint 3rd top rated and this 3yo likes to track the leaders and could be an improving horse but i am hoping that JARVIS 20/1 (EW) can from the plum stall 1 draw get to the front and with control of the rails lead all the way for victory and as usual at that sort of price it has to be an each way punt.

6F Class-6 Div1 13-Runners This 1st division is very hard to analyse to a confident conclusion, *Magic Gem 9/2 and Flagman 15/2 both might need further to show their best form and will be possible lays if of value to do so. I expect the early pace to come from Fantasy Navigator and or Dodgy Bob but both are outside my top 4 ratings so may not be able to hold on for the win but one could make the frame if allowed an easy lead. The 3yo Struck Gold is my 3rd top rated and could be an improving type so might be worth an each way interest, YAAHOBBY 9/2 and JUMIRA BRIDGE 14/1 (EW) are my top and 2nd top rated but neither are what you would call consistent but either of them could win this race if putting their best hoof forwards so I will be backing both, with one win bet and one each way bet. of them hoping that at least one of them does their best here.

6F Class-6 Div2 13-Runners I can find 3 known front runners in this division and they are all in my top 5 ratings for this race, Clownsman 9/2 is still a maiden after 9 races and seems to find 5 furlongs too short and 6 furlongs too far and its stamina will be severely tested in this race and might be worth laying while the top weight Catesby will need to improve time wise to win this race so maybe another to lay if a short enough price. Viewfromthestars in stall 10 and Peachey Carenhan in stall 4 are my 5th and 4th top rated horses either could make the frame but would need others to falter to win this race. Bungle Bay likes to track the leaders and is my 3rd top rated while the 2nd top rated Admirable lad usually deploys the same racing tactics but my money will be riding on the stall 9 drawn horse ELDEYAAR 20/1 (EW) and if this one gets to the front it ought to prove very hard to catch and at the price has to be an each way punt.

8:55 Newcastle Racing Tips (21st June)

NEWCASTLE 8.55

6F Class 6 14 Runners I can see 3 natural front running types in this race but I doubt any of them could lead all the way for victory but one might if allowed an easy lead but I doubt that will happen here. Enderman 13/2 might prefer a longer trip so will be staying on at the finish but maybe too late for the win and its 0-10 on the AW tracks so might be the one to lay as its forecast to be the favourite for this race. Quercus 10/1 one of the possible pacesetters has poor from on the AW tracks and if? A single figure price another that I will look to lay. Kraken Florida 9/1 is my 3rd top rated overall and joint 2nd top rated on recent course and distance ratings it is usually held up for a late run so it could run on and make the frame but I doubt it will really be an each way price, Variety Island 9/1 is my 2nd top rated using a rating record at Southwell and is joint 2nd top rated on recent, 2022-23, ratings so is another that might be worth looking at as an each way bet. My money will be riding on YAAHOBBY 15/2 who has shown a bit of good form recently when finishing 2nd and this looks a good opportunity to get back to winning ways and the 5lb claiming apprentice has a good 21% win ratio when riding the stable's older horses.

4:55 Brighton Racing Tips (2nd May)

BRIGHTON 4.55

A field of 11 for this class 6 sprint where I expect the early pace might be set by Liberty Bay 20/1 but this one hasn't produced much time wise since 2021 but might be worth a small each way punt as it could be dangerous if allowed an easy lead as its best rating from 2021 would make it my 2nd top rated horse. Madrinho 6/1 hasn't won a race since 2021 and might be worth laying if its a single figure price, McQueen 4/1 might need a longer trip to show its best work as might Rainbow Sign 7/1 but I doubt they will be a single figure price (which goes to show how much I know about predicting the betting). No Speed Limit 5/1 and Autumn Flight 6/1 on the other hand might prefer a shorter distance to shine so I could look to lay these if they are of value to do so. Hagla Sophia 4/1 usually races in midfield before staying on at the finish and could make the frame but I doubt it will be an each way price and if fully fit on its first run for quite a while, I will take a punt in this race on MINHAAJ 10/1 (EW) who usually stays on strongly over this distance and might be worth a small each way punt.

WOLVERHAMPTON 5.40

Another field of 11 for this class 6 dash this time I can see 2 horses that have been known to lead before, Next Second could possibly lead if nothing else wants to and if allowed an easy lead then could be a danger but I think the early pace will be set by Rockley Point 7/4 who comes in 4th on my ratings and could do enough to make the frame and to me looks poor value to back but I also couldn't lay it in case its allowed an easy lead and leads all the way. Pandemic Princess 11/1 and Bankrupt 5/1 both usually run on at the finish over this distance but both would need to improve time wise to win this race. Red Allure has a good time to its name from Newcastle but its not done anything worthwhile time wise at this course since 2021, Iconicdaay also has a good rating but has never won over this distance and hasn't been in good from recently. My money will be riding on WE’RE REUNITED 10/3 who will be staying on strongly at the finish, it indicated a return to form when finishing 3rd last time out and if getting some luck in running when making a challenge it could get back to winning ways here but I will admit I was expecting it to be about double the price on offer.

WOLVERHAMPTON 6.10

One extra runner here to make it 12 runners for this class 6 sprint where the early pace looks most likely to be set by Another Angel 4/1 who happens to be my 4th top rated and with an easy lead could at least make the frame but I doubt it will be an each way price. If Jumira Bridge 15/2, Hard Solution 18/1 and Fair And Square 5/1 are single figure prices I would look to lay them all as they seem better prospects over shorter distance races. Catesby 15/2 comes out 3rd top on my figures and usually races in midfield before trying to stay on at the finish, BUNGLE BAY 11/2 is my 2nd top rated using a course and distance time it recorded last year and the switch back to turf could see this one bounce back to form and the same can be said for YAAHOBBY 14/1 (EW) who also recorded its best time over this course and distance last year and i will be backing them both, with a win bet on the former and an each way wager on the latter, hoping at least one of them can reproduce its previous best.

6:00 Newcastle Racing Tips (20th February)

NEWCASTLE 6.00

A field of 10 for this class 6 dash with 2 known front running types amongst them, I will look to lay both Araifjan 11/1 and Kraken Power 7/1 if they are single figure prices as both seem to need further to show their best form anything else with very little chance of winning will most likely be of no value to lay. Melody King is my 4th top rated and the one that might set the pace to the race so could do enough to make the frame and might be of value to do as an each way punt, Phoenix Star is my 3rd top rated and can be held up or track the leaders and then try to stay on at the finish, PRIMO'S COMET 33/1 (EW) comes out in 2nd top spot on my figures and usually likes to track the leaders but hasn't been in good form lately but the jockey does have an 18% win ratio when riding for this stable but I do have YAAHOBBY 11/1 (EW) rated 1lb higher and will be running on strongly at the finish, as they are so closely rated then I will beck them both and at the prices it will be with each way bets.

NEWCASTLE 8.00

Only 8 runners in this class 6 stakes race where the early pace could be set by Blackcurrent 3/1 but if pushed this one could struggle to stay the distance as its best form is over shorter distances while Mutabaahy 10/3 might prefer further and both therefore might be worth laying. Zegos Surprise is my 4th top rated using a course and distance rating recorded this year, Muatadel is my 3rd top rated but i had to go back to 2021 to find this ones best rating and its been in poor form lately, Kraken Florida is usually held up for a late run but the rating which makes it my 2nd top rated was recorded at Southwell but hasn't any form over this course and distance plus its also still a maiden after 10 runs with half of them being on an artificial surface, I will be backing STORM MASTER 8/1 (EW) who is my top rated and would win with a bit in hand if repeating its previous best but hasn't had a run for over 70 days and it will be a bit of a risk hoping that its fit itself to do itself justice after its break so a small each way wager seems the best way forward.

3:50 Lingfield Racing Tips (3rd February)

LINGFIELD 3.50

A field of 12 runners with 2 and possibly 3 that could set the pace although I think Our Man In Havana is only likely to lead if nothing else wants to set the pace but I doubt it will need to do that here and Viewfromthestars another that has led before but neither of them are in my top 4 ratings so would most likely to struggle to win the race even if they do lead. Macon Belle 6/1 may struggle to stay the distance with a fast early pace and it finished 2nd in a relatively slow run affair so may have been flattered by that result, San Juan may also prefer a longer trip and would need to improve time wise to win here. Lothian is my 4th top rated and can track the leaders or be held up for a late run but would need others to falter to win this race. Inaam usually stays on at this distance and could run into a place nearing the finish, Iesha is my 2nd top rated but hasn't been in good form lately so I will be hoping that CREEK HARBOUR 16/1 (EW) can set the pace to this race and if getting to the front it could prove hard to peg back if on a going day but I don't think its a race to be betting heavily in but if an each way price it might be worth a punt.

NEWCASTLE 6.45

A field of 9 with just 1 known front running type, the figures for this race are a bit of a mixed lot and either its going to be a very competitive affair or something could win cosily, I'm not sure I could lay anything with confidence, Gannon Glory my 5th top rated, Pockley my 4th top rated and After John in 3rd top spot have the best recent ratings but there is only 2lbs between them so that could be the competitive part, Atholblair Boy is 2nd top rated but that's using a 2021 rating and its win 2 runs ago resulted in a slow time so that doesn't fill me with confidence but the top weight SPARTAN FIGHTER 33/1 is the likely pacesetter and if getting it right from the front could prove hard to catch although its also not been in great form lately but the apprentice jockey has a 28% win ratio when riding the stables older horses so lets hope that's a good pointer here.

NEWCASTLE 7.15 Div I

A field of 11 with just 1 known front running type, everything apart from the top 2 in the handicap are forecast to be double figure prices and I've only got 2 horses with recordable times, I couldn't back or lay Gowanbuster who finished 2nd last time out in a possibly slow run race or just slow going on that day, Stallone is my 2nd top rated and can track the leaders or be held up for a late run but my money will be riding on the one that I hope can lead all the way with the make-up of this race and TURBO COMMAND 8/1 has led all the way before and a repeat would be enough to win this race and if an each way price then all the better.

NEWCASTLE 7.45 Div II

A field of 11 for this class 6 2nd division, looking at the bottom 6 in the handicap I expect them all to be double figure prices and I would lay anything that's not that big. Jem's Bond has been running well but either the going was riding slow on both of its last 2 runs or they were slow run races, its not enough for me to confidently lay it but I sure couldn't back it either. Ustath could set the pace to the race and is my 4th top rated so could possibly do enough to make the frame if others falter, Cheese The One is in 3rd top spot and is usually held up for a late run, while Giselles Izzy likes to attack from midfield but I've got TATHMEEN 6/1 as my top rated and if able to reproduce its best Southwell rating here it ought to get back to winning ways but it has only produced a slow time over this course and distance before so my stake will be kept low.

NEWCASTLE 8.15

A field of 9 runners with no known front running types which is always a pain for analysis, Kraken Power 4/1 may need further or a different surface maybe even both so may be worth laying but only to a small stake with the pace problem. Gunnerside is 4th top. Rose Bandit in 3rd top spot but this one is in good form winning last time out, Spanish Angel also won last time out but that was a slow time race and if there isn't a good early gallop it could follow up here as could my 3rd top rated, in fact it gives more horses a chance of winning but I will be hoping that YAAHOBBY 10/1 can get back to winning ways it races as though further might suit it better so will I expect make sure the pace is fairly fast and it has the same trainer/jockey stats as the 6.45 race, so hopefully at least one of them will win.

7:30 Wolverhampton Racing Tips (9th January)

WOLVERHAMPTON 7.30

5 Furlongs Class 4.

POP DANCER usually races in midfield or held up for a late run but needs to improve time wise to win this race so one I could lay.

DUSKY PRINCE is my 3rd top rated using just Southwell ratings but only 4th best on other Tapeta ratings should be staying on at the finish but most likely too late for the win.

BELLAGIO MAN hasn't any form over this distance on an artificial surface as I think it needs further to show its best form so this distance may see it finishing but too late to win the race.

DOUBLE DEALING hasn't any distance form on Tapeta apart from Southwell but that rating is a good few spots off my top ratings.

LIHOU is the only known front running type in the race and being my 2nd top rated it could go very well especially if allowed an easy lead.

YAAHOBBY is my top rated on ratings from all 3 Tapeta courses and could get a good tow into the race being drawn next to the likely pacesetter.

SUMMARY: The only sprint for me today and a poor turnout for this class four race of just six runners. If the early pace is set by LIHOU 2/1 and its allowed an easy time up front it could possibly lead all the way here so I will have to back it to some degree but on my figures it could get caught by YAAHOBBY 7/1 who will be trying to stay on at the finish, my bets will probably be tilted in favour of my top rated but if either wins i will come away with a profit.

3:50 Newcastle Racing Tips (11th November)

NEWCASTLE 3.50

A very competitive looking class 4 dash where the early pace could bet by either Khabib 5/2 and or Twilight Madness 5/2 and maybe the latter will do best as its drawn nearer to the better side of the course in stall 8 but maybe a better horse over further so the former could get an easy lead and then be more dangerous and could make the frame but neither are each way prices and maybe worth laying at the prices on offer. Be Proud 12/1 who likes to track the leaders is my 3rd top rated and coming out of stall 6 it could make the frame, Ballyare 14/1 is a hold up type of horse and my 2nd top rated so could make the frame with a clear run but I will be putting my faith on *OUR ABSENT FRIENDS 15/2 who won well 2 runs ago when winning over this course and distance admittedly in a class 6 race but this lightly raced 4yo who has only ran 5 runs and could be an improving sort who can be excused its run last time out over 6 furlongs and is quickly dropped back in distance to run here.

A 13 runner class 6 apprentice jockeys handicap with just 2 known front running types amongst them. I will look to lay both Minhaaj and Rose Bandit as they can both struggle to stay this distance in a fast run race which might happen here. Kath's Toyboy and Big Impact are my joint 4th top rated horses and the latter is one of the known front runners but from stall 12 it might use up too much of its energy to get to the front and then fade nearing the finish, Griggy who is my 3rd top rated is another that doesn't want a really fast early pace and believe it or not the same applies to Fylingdale who comes out in 2nd top spot so my money will be riding on the other likely pacesetter in the shape of VIEWFROMTHESTARS 14/1 (EW) and if this one gets to the front from stall 6 it should prove very hard to catch but at the price I will take some insurance with an each way wager.

An apprentice jockeys class 6 handicap with 13 runners and just one known front running type amongst them. I'm not sure if there's anything worthwhile to lay in this race as I expect they will all be double figure prices. Camachess and the 3yo Mumcat are my joint 3rd top rated horses but the former hasn't been in good form lately but the latter could make the frame, in joint top spot I've got Astrophysics and ARAIFJAN 6/1 the former's trainer has been 0-29 in the last 2 weeks and its had 40 runners since its last win so my money will be riding on Araifjan who is versatile when it comes to racing tactics which includes leading so I'm hoping from stall 3 it can get away smartly, gain control of the rails and the pace and lead all the way to victory.

WOLVERHAMPTON 6.00

A 11 runner race where the early pace could be set by Boom The Groom or more likely by Eternal Halo 15/2 but I doubt either can hold on for the win although the latter could go well if allowed an easy lead. I will look to lay Fristel 13/2 who races as though a longer distance will be needed to show its best form and the same applies to Q Twenty Boy 15/2. Sir Rodneyredblood 9/2 could go well if reproducing its best figure from Chelmsford, the 3yo Level Up 5/1 could also go well looking at its rating from that course but isn't really an each way price. My money will be riding on YAAHOBBY 14/1 (EW) who ran well when 3rd two runs ago at Newcastle but hasn't ran here before which is a worry, it should be staying on at the finish and from stall 2 it ought to be able to get on the rail just behind the leaders ready to attack late on in the race and a juicy price so an each way bet seems best.

3:38 Newcastle Racing Tips (18th October)

NEWCASTLE 3.38

I can see 5 horses in this race that have led before but I think they will be setting it up for something coming from off the pace, it isn't a great race for a class 3 affair but it should be a true run race, Jordan Electrics, Water Of Leith and Spartan Fighter are all possible pacesetters but all 3 of them do their winning in lower class races so maybe not quite up to winning here but one or more could still make the frame if reproducing their previous best, Lovely Mana, maybe too far for it, Running Wild, relatively slow times, and Fast And Loose, maybe not up to winning at this level could be possible lays if of value to do so, (value? Is an arguable stat because I know my sprinters inside out I can have a fairly accurate idea of what price the horse should be depending on its chances of winning so that is why I usually post my lays the morning of the races when the betting has settled down). Quest For Fun could do best of those racing to the fore in the early stages but my money will be riding on AASSER 9/1 who has won before after a break from racing so the 3 months its had off could see it come back and raring to go and the jockey does quite well when riding for the stable.

The first division of a class 6 dash and surprisingly there is only a couple of known front running types in the race, I'm not sure if there will be anything of value to lay in this race but as usual the betting will be the deciding factor, High Security and or Mrs Bagerman could set the pace to the race and the latter could do best of the pair so might be worth an each way interest, Nellie French has pieces of form from the past that would give it a chance of making the frame but has been in poor form lately, Sugar Baby has been running in better company than today's but time wise it would need to improve to win this race so I'm not sure what to expect from it, Blackcurrant is another that could go well but seems to find it hard to win as many races as it should, I will be hoping that an each way bet on YAAHOBBY 12/1 (EW) will pay dividends and this one is usually held up for a late run and it is the type of horse that can bounce back to form without prior winning so lets hope its today.

5:00 Wolverhampton Racing Tips (27th September)

WOLVERHAMPTON 5.00 Div I

This division has just the one, Araifjan, known front running type and if it gets an easy lead it could do enough to make the frame being my 3rd top rated horse, the 3yo Ischia was made favourite for its last race where it finished 4th and hasn't won in 7 previous attempts to break its duck and its one run at Lingfield wasn't a good race and it failed to register on my figures so maybe worth laying and hope the switch to this Tapeta surface doesn't see the horse improve, The Nail Gunner is my 2nd top rated and could therefore make the frame so maybe worth an each way wager if its a big enough price, my money will be riding on the 3yo YAAHOBBY 10/1 (EW) who can be held up or track the leaders and then stay on the stronger at the finish and as usual at the price it has to be an each way wager.
