2:15 Doncaster Racing Tips (25th June)

With 3 or 4 possible pacesetters this should be a true run race, Abate is a versatile type and my 2nd top rated on just 2021 times and 3rd top overall, Boy In The Bar hasn't been in good form lately but comes out 2nd top rated using a time from 2019 but would need to bounce back to form to go well here, the top weight THEOTHERSIDE 20/1 is dropped in class to run in this class 5 race, it hasn't been in the best of form this year but it has been known to bounce back to form without warning and I am hoping its worth an each way punt in this race.

Only 8 runners but an intriguing race both Invincible Larne and Global Prospector have been known to lead but both would need to improve time wise to win this race but the latter has a time on the AW surface at Chelmsford that would make it my 2nd top rated, both Seneca Chief and Autumn Flight could go well here and either could make the frame being my 2nd and 3rd top rated on just 2021 times, the bottom weight CASE KEY 33/1 hasn't shown much lately but is another horse that can bounce back to form without prior warning so I am hoping all 8 take part so there is 3 places up for grabs as with only 2 places each way bets are not of as much value.

For a class 5 race this looks very competitive, I cannot see anything of value to lay but the betting might highlight something, the 3yo Tantastic 11/2 is my top rated if I use a time from Wolverhampton while its best c/d time is 9lbs lower but could still run well enough to make the frame, Canford Bay 22/1 is versatile with its racing tactics but might be drawn away from the early pace in this race which might not help its cause but at the price might be worth an each way punt, I think ASTROZONE 8/1 in stall 12 might be the one to set the pace and could lead all the way.

I can see 5 front running types amongst the 14 runners in this race and i think it might be won from the front, one possible front runner is Sunday Sovereign 6/1 who finished 2nd last time out but that was on soft ground and I am not sure it will take to this surface as it is its 1st run on an AW surface so I will look to lay it especially if its as short as the tissue prices forecast, Desert Safari and Caspian Prince could go well in this race and the former does have good trainer/jockey stats and the latter is my 2nd top rated on 2021 times, Ornate and Kind Review are possible pacesetters who could go well but i am hoping COPPER KNIGHT 15/2 can get to the front at some point of the race and then prove hard to catch and it might be a worthwhile each way wager.

A six runner race where I think half the field have got some chance of winning this race, I would lay Silent Queen as I'm not sure it will stay the sixth furlong but being a 3yo it could improve so best left alone, Ishvara is another that might prefer a shorter trip and one I will look to lay, the 3yo NIGHT NARCISSUS 4/1 will I think set the pace to the race and comes out top rated on just 2021 times but only 3rd best on overall figures, LOVELY BREEZE 9/4 another 3yo is my 2nd top rated on overall figures and has decent trainer/jockey stats, the older horse BIMBLE 4/1 is my top rated on its best time from 2020 but the jockeys 0-4 record for the stable is a little off-putting so i will look to dutch all 3 of them.

1:00 Goodwood Racing Tips (30th April)

GOODWOOD 1.00 

Only 7 runners but a nice looking class 3 affair except for the lack of early pace, Minhaaj hasn't been in form so looks a likely outsider, Green Power hasn't shown anything time wise since 2019 and maybe another bigger priced horse, Top Breeze may find this distance too far if there is fast early pace so I'm not sure whether to lay it or not but if under 5/1 may be worth taking the risk, Concierge may prefer longer but time wise needs to improve to win this race, Open Wide is 3rd top even if I use its best time from 2019, Atlantis Boy usually stays on at the finish and is my 2nd top rated but I will be backing BIMBLE 5/2 who is usually hold up type so I am hoping there is a decent early pace for it to aim at and has good trainer/jockey stats making me think the connections are expecting it to get back to winning ways here.

Another 7 runner race but class 4 this time, where my top 4 ratings all recorded their times this year but once again its a race with no known front runner in the field, Mid Winster may need further to shine so this race might not be run to suit it, Primos Comet sits in 4th top spot but doesn't want really fast ground, the top weight Victory Angel comes out 3rd best and is usually held up for a late run, Afandem my 2nd top rated is another that doesn't want really fast ground, I will be pinning my faith and money on FASHION ADVICE 7/2 who recorded its best time over this c/d and the jockey has a decent 18% strike rate for the stable.

Isn't a great race even for class 5 standards, anything I think will be a lay bet looks likely to be too big in price to be worth risking things, Major Valentine comes out 3rd best and Rainbow Mirage in 2nd top spot and both of them recorded their best times at Windsor this year, maybe even the same race as I've not looked as I analyse each horse separately, my money will be riding on VAPE 11/2 who recorded its best time at Salisbury this year and has made the frame in all of its last 3 runs on turf and has been found a good opportunity to get back to winning ways.

This might be a class 5 race but its a nice looking one, there is 3 runners in the race that have been known to lead before so it should be a true run affair, there is very little between Good Night Mr Tom, Tomily, Jungle Speed, Oakenfield and Absolute Dream who are my 6th to 2nd top rated (not in ratings order I worked from the top to the bottom of the handicap) but I will have a punt, and it is a punt on HART STOPPER 13/2 who is my top rated using its best c//d time from last year, it hasn't shown much lately but it won last year on its third run of the year and this is its third run of this year so I am hoping that lightning will strike again this year.

Down to class 6 here and gladly there is a couple of known front running types in the race, the top weight Ventura Express is forecast to be the favourite for this race but I have a feeling it is a better horse over a longer trip and that would usually be enough for me to lay it but it is dropped in class in this race, it won over this distance at Pontefract last time out but that course is a lot slower than today's, in fact there's just over 3 seconds difference between them over the minimum trip and a horse covers 19 yards per second at this course so maybe I will lay it if poor value, I've got Quanah, Gorgeous Gobolina and Atyaaf as my co 4th favourites, Suwaan at the bottom of the handicap comes out 3rd best, Another Angel comes out 2nd best on its best effort from 2020 and it is one of the likely pacesetters, the other likely pacesetter is ROCKLEY POINT 7/1 who recorded its time this year which is always a positive and the jockey has a decent 15% win ratio on the stables older horses.

2:55 Nottingham Racing Tips & Lay Bets (30th September)

A big field of 17 runners with a couple of known front runners plus another that would lead if nothing else wanted to so it should be a true run race, the 2 at the bottom of the handicap may be outclassed here so i would lay both (*Production + Case Key) if in single figure prices, of the front runners maybe Belated Breath will do best and could possibly hang on for a place if getting an easy lead, I've got joint 2nd top rated horses in Mokaatil who recorded its best last year while One Night Stand recorded its best time this year at Windsor but my money will be riding, as usual, on my top rated horse BIMBLE 3/1 this progressive 3yo recorded its best time this year at Goodwood and a repeat of that time would see it back into the winners circle.

This is a very hard race to analyse to a conclusion, i would look to lay (Commander Han + The Defiant) the former may need a longer trip and the latter maybe outclassed in this class 5 race, theres 5 horses that have been known to lead before so it should be a fast and furious dash, Nibras Again comes out 3rd top on overall times so could be in the mix, Moonraker is top rated on just 2020 times over this distance so must be considered, Dapper Man is a possible pacesetter and has a fast time from 2019 which could make it hard to catch but its form so far this year has been way below that level, Shoot To Kill is a 3yo that comes out 2nd top rated on just 2020 times but only 4th top overall but recent form is probably more relevant, i will go with dutching SHOOT TO KILL 11/2, DAPPER MAN 5/1 and MOONRAKER 16/1 but even then my stakes wont be at full strength.
