2:40 Haydock Racing Tips (25th September)

HAYDOCK 2.40

WOW what a competitive looking class 2 dash, I can only see Premier Power as a possible lay bet in this race, Mountain Peak is one of two known front running types in this race and comes out 4th best on my figures so could run well and maybe even make the frame,Jawwaal is my 3rd top rated and only 2lbs below the pair who are my top rated, Mondammej is one of the joint top rated horses but drops to 2nd best when I take off the 5lb the apprentice claims riding COPPER KNIGHT 9/2 who is also the other known front runner and if getting to the front here it could be hard to catch.

Copper Knight 9/2 5/1 2nd -1pt

Lay bet: Premier Power +1pt

Total 0pts

HAYDOCK 3.15

Another nice looking race and class 3 this time, I think the early pace will be set by Al Simmo but it would need to improve to hold on for the win, Call Me Ginger who has won its last 3 races comes out 3rd top on my figures and maybe the handicapper has caught up with it, there is only 2lbs between my top rated pair and I will be backing both of them, NEVER DARK 8/1 and SECOND COLLECTION 12/1 as to be honest I cannot split them and both look good value at their prices with there being just seven runners.

Second Collection 16/1 4th -1pt
Never Dark 8/1 5th -1pt

Total -2pts

RIPON 3.30

A field of 12 for this race with a couple of front runners of whom Machree may go best but I doubt it can hold on for the win and I might well lay the other possible leader, Raydmoor who might have been flattered when winning a slow run race last time out, James Watt, Nibras Again and Deputise could all go well but I will be splitting my stake between COLEY'S KOKO 9/2 who is my 2nd top rated but only 1lb below ATLYAH 7/1 in top spot, the former is usually held up for a late run while the latter likes to track the leaders and then stay on resolutely nearing the finish.

Coley's Koko 7/1 Unp -1pt
Atlyah 12/1 Unp -1pt

Total -2pts

RIPON 4.05

As usual with an eight runner race I hope they all take part so there is 3 places available for an each way bet, it is a good looking class 2 race where I cannot see anything that I could dismiss its chances and lay it, Bossipop may do best of the two known front runners in the race as it comes out 4th best on my figures and could even stay on well enough to sneak a palace especially if others falter, Thegreatestshowman is sitting in 3rd top spot but the trainer is 0-10 in the last 2 weeks, Manigordo is my 2nd best rated horse and is usually seen staying on at the finish over this distance and could make the frame but it hasn't been in good form lately, my money will be riding on BOWMAN 10/1 (EW) who recorded a fast time at Carlisle and a repeat would see it winning a touch cosily.

Bowman 10/1 8th -2pts

Total -2pts

RIPON 5.50

Only 6 runners where the top pair, Nearly A Gonna and Ustath, look the likely pacesetters and the latter could be dangerous if allowed an easy lead and the former might have been flattered when it won 2 runs ago at Nottingham, Hurstwood comes out 2nd best using a time from way back in 2019, my money will be riding on SINGE ANGLAIS 13/8 who is from a stable in decent form in the last two weeks and it will be held up for a late run.

Singe Anglais 9/4 1st +2.25pts

CHELMSFORD 7.30

A class 4 race, 10 runners and 2 known front running types equals a true run affair, I would look to lay Seas Of Elzaam who should be staying on at the finish but maybe too late to catch the leaders, Garth Rockett has a good time from 2020 which would give it a good chance of winning but the jockey booking, 0-18, makes me think it will be aimed at a future race, I did have TOUSSARAK 7/1 and NIGEL NOTT 5/1 level on my ratings but the former has a 3lb claiming apprentice on board and the latter has a 5lb claiming apprentice, so just 2lbs between them but as the latter is the one I think might set the early pace and could prove hard to catch but just in case I will back them both to cover the angles.

Nigel Nott 5/1 4th -1pt
Toussarak 7/1 UR -1pt

Lay bet: Seas Of Elzaam +1pt

CHELMSFORD 8.30

Only 7 runners but 3 of them are known as front runners and five of them are 3yo’s so my stakes are already going to be low, I think *Iesha may need further and may be worth laying despite the fact this race might be run to suit its racing style, I think JORVIK PRINCE 9/1 should lead and then prove hard to catch and if reproducing its best time from 2020 would hold on for the win but its time from 2021 would give TOPLIGHT 9/2 a chance to pick it up in the closing stages and I will be backing them both.

4:10 Wolverhampton Racing Tips (20th May)

WOLVERHAMPTON 4.10

A field of 10 with 3 or possibly 4 of them having been known to lead before so it should be a true run affair although the 3 that I would say are natural front runners would all need to improve a good few spots to hold on for the win, Last page is capable of going well but doesn't like a really fast early pace so may struggle in the make-up of this race, Nubough has a time from Newcastle that would make it my top rated but this ones times here over both 5 furlongs and 6 furlongs are head and shoulders above what its managed elsewhere including over this c/d, my money will be riding on my top rated TATHMEEN 20/1 (EW) who is the possible 4th pacesetter although it doesn't have to lead to win, in the make-up of this race it should be able to get to the front or at least contest for the lead from stall 6 with just 1 known front runner drawn on the inside of it and if getting there ought to prove hard to catch but at the price it has to be an each way punt.

Tathmeen 20/1 6th -2pts

WOLVERHAMPTON 4.40

A field of 13 and just the one known front runner in the shape of the stall 11 horse YOU'RE COOL 8/1 who starts off as my 3rd top rated but the apprentice jockey riding it has a 0-6 record for the stable which is a bit off-putting but it could do enough to make the frame as all my data is kept for the win parts of a race and not the placed efforts, Qaaraat could go well but would need others to falter to even make the frame but never say never with this quirky animal coming out of stall 1, in stall 2 we find Aces another that could go well in this race being my 2nd top rated but being a hold up type the draw is a little irrelevant, I will be hoping that from stall 12 (SFUMATO--non-runner) will be able to track across to the rails by following the horse drawn on its inside and then gain a good position from which to attack at the business end of the race and the apprentice riding my selection has a good win ratio when riding for this stable. OK so one of my original selections is a non-runner so I will stick to the one selection hoping it can lead from start to finish.

You're Cool 9th -1pt

CHELMSFORD 8.10

A class 6 handicap dash with just the one known front runner, I don't think its a race to be betting too heavily in, Katherine Place has a good time from Lingfield which would make it my 4th top rated but hasn't run at this course before and the trainer is 0-11 here, Solar Park is versatile when it comes to its racing tactics and is my 3rd top rated so could go well, the bottom weight Aguerooo is my joint top rated but that is using a time from this year at Lingfield and its best c/d time is a fair few spots below that level, the other joint top rated is JORVIK PRINCE 20/1 (EW) and this one is the only natural front running type in the race although stall 9 isn't ideal in the make-up of this race, which might be the reason its such a big price, it might not be too much of a handicap in the make-up of this race and if it does get to the front it should prove hard to catch but at the price I have to suggest an each way wager.

Jorvik Prince 20/1 3rd -2pts (2 places)

1:50 Wolverhampton Racing Tips (27th December)

WOLVERHAMPTON 1.50

If there was some known early paced types in this race it would be a very nice class 6 race, I would look to lay, A Go Go, Moveonup, Griggy and Astrophysics who all struggle to stay the distance in a truly run fast early pace sprint, despite being my 2nd top rated I would add Requinto Dawn onto the list as this doesn't seem to be its favourite surface, Glorious Charmer, poor recent form, and Daring Guest, maybe needs further could also be added to the list so that's narrowed it down to six possible winners (if only it was that easy) It Must Be Faith is my 3rd top rated but i did have to go back to last year to find its best time, my money will be riding on *BLESSED TO EMPRESS 14/1 who unseated its jockey last time out, there is a change of jockey for this race and Callum Shepherd does well for this stable with a 23% win ratio on all aged horses and is 1-2 when riding the stables older runners and at the price has to be worth a punt.

Lay bets: Requinto Dawn -18pts, A Go Go +1pt, Moveonup +1pt, Griggy +1pts, Glorious Charmer +1pt, Daring Guest +1pt

WOLVERHAMPTON 5.10

Not the greatest of class 6 sprints but there is plenty of early pace with 4 of the 11 liking to set the pace, I can find 5 that i would look to lay if a single figure price, Super Julius, Kaafy, King Robert, Jumira Bridge and Top Boy, I've got joint 2nd top rated horses in Precious Plum who’s best time came in 2019 and Hard Solution but this one hasn't been in good form lately, - will be taking a punt, hopefully it will be an each way price, on JORVIK PRINCE 8/1 who is one that likes to lead and in the make-up of this race stall could be enough to let it get to the front and gain control of the rails and once there could prove hard to catch, it hasn't shown its best lately but this horse is capable of bouncing back to form without warning and hopefully that will be in this race.

8:15 Chelmsford Racing Tip & Lay Bets (26th September)

CHELMSFORD 8.15

BERNIE'S BOY 11/1 usually likes to track the leaders and then run on at the finish, it is my 2nd top rated using just this years times so could make the frame.

GHEPARDO 12/1 can either be held up for a late run or track the leaders and then stay on at the finish, it looks to be an outsider and will need to improve on its best time which came on this surface at Lingfield.

AWSAAF 20/1 will probably be a big outsider in this race and it might need a longer distance to show its true worth.

JORVIK PRINCE 5/1 is the only known front runner in the field and stall 2 should be ideal for it, it top rated on just 2020 times and has a 6lb better time from 2019.

WILD FLOWER 9/4 I think this distance is too short for this entrant and it would be one I would look to lay in the race especially at such a short price.

MIAELLA 4/1 hasn't any c/d form to its name but its best time from Lingfield would put it in the mix but that time did come from 2019 and may be better over further or on a slower surface.

SWELL SONG 3/1 has only 1 slow time at Kempton over this distance and trawling through its form this surface may not suit it and another I would look to lay at the price.

AWAKE IN ASIA 14/1 has only poor form recently but does have a good time from Lingfield but might be a better bet over a longer trip.

ILLEGITIMATE GAINS 50/1 hasn't shown much at all so far and I expect it will be the biggest outsider in the field.

SUMMARY: It looks like everywhere on turf will have soft ground so this is the only sprint I've worked on, I would look to lay (Wild Flower 9/4 + Swell Song 3/1) but my money will be riding on JORVIK PRINCE 5/1 hoping from stall 2 it can get the lead and control of the rails and from there lead all the way.

Jorvik Prince 5/1 2nd (-1pt)

Lay bets: Wild Flower +1pt, Swell Song +1pt

5:50 Wolverhampton: Free Horse Racing Tips for Wolverhampton Tomorrow (26th November)

WOLVERHAMPTON 5.50

A very nice looking class 2 race with 8 competitors and a couple fo front runners so it should be a true run affair, Leodis Dream has just 1 poor run over this c/d to its name, the 3 yo Rocket Action should be trying to stay on at the finish and could make the frame, Royal Birth has 1 run at this c/d to its name but it does have good trainer/jockey stats, Tanasoq may prefer a longer trip but could be dangerous if taking to this surface, Thegreatestshowman won last time out but I'm not sure its ready for this rise in class while both Kick On Kick On and Canford Bay might find themselves out of their depth in a class 2 race, my money will be riding on CORINTHIA KNIGHT 5/1 who is a frontrunning type and in the make-up of this race stall 7 isn't that bad of a draw and if getting to the front could prove very hard to catch.

WOLVERHAMPTON 7.20

This race is very muddled which isn't unusual for a class 6 affair, the 3yo OH SO NICE 13/2 has the top speed figure for 2019 over this c/d but it is just 3lbs above the lowest figures I work with, Edged Out has only got 2 AW runs to its name and they were both quite poor but neither were on this surface, JORVIK PRINCE 16/1 has a time from 2018 over this c/d that would make it my top-rated but the trainers 0-8 and jockeys 0-7 records are a little off-putting, if TWILIGHTING 3/1 who is another 3yo, or KATHERINE PLACE 5/1 take to this surface they could be dangerous but their best times are equal but both recorded at Kempton, I will hopefully be able to dutch the 4 horses mentioned but my stakes will be kept quite low as its a tricky race and at this low-level consistency isn't a keyword.
