7:50 Kempton Racing Tips (2nd August)

KEMPTON 7.50 

This is quite a complex race with form lines and speed figures from varying courses and from the 2 different surfaces, Prop Forward 9/4 is one of two that have been known to lead and it has a decent rating on the Tapeta surface at Wolverhampton and an even better one from Southwell but it hasn't run on this Polytrack surface before so not sure what to expect from it so not a bet or a lay and dampens my confidence in backing anything against it, Mohareb is the other that might lead but would need to improve time wise to hold on for the win, Nationwide is my top rated using a Tapeta rating but its win over this course and distance was a slow run affair but that's not enough proof to lay this one or back it, Strong Power is my 3rd top rated using a 2022 rating at Chelmsford, my top rated using only Polytrack speed figures is AYR HARBOUR 8/1 (EW) who likes to track the leaders and hopefully it will be an each way price but if not then this race is maybe best left alone.

CHELMSFORD 8.10 

This is a very poor stakes race where most of them haven't shown much worthwhile form lately, Twilight Bay 7/1 is still a maiden after 10 races and today's distance might be too far for it with a fast early gallop, Gossamer Silk 5/1 has a rating on Tapeta but nothing on this Polytrack surface, I think Company Minx 4/1 might be worth laying on this surface as it doesn't seem to suit it, Super Julius might be better when dropped back in distance but with no known front runners in this race it could become a messy tactical affair but I am hoping there is at least a decent early gallop and then i will have a small bet on BRAZEN ARROW 6/1 (EW) who is the only one who has registered on my figures over this distance and surface so might be worth an each way interest.

There is a couple of known front running types in this race which hopefully makes things easier to analyse, Silver Dollar 11/4 may need further to show its best form so could be worth laying and the same applies to Starter For Ten 15/2, Beauen Arrows 7/1 has won over today's course and distance but that was a slow run affair and might have been flattered by that result and maybe worth taking on here, Cool Spirit 28/1 one of the possible pacesetters comes out 3rd top on my figures so could be an each way punt if bouncing back to form, NUBOUGH (EW) 12/1 comes out in 2nd top spot and usually tracks the leaders before staying on at the finish, SIR RODNEYREDBLOOD 12/1 (EW) is my top rated and also the other front running type in the race and if getting to the front could prove hard to catch but is an inconsistent type so i will go with a front runner and a finishing type to cover the angles and at the prices it has to be two each way wagers.

2:45 Chelmsford Racing Tips (13th December)

CHELMSFORD 2.45 

REPARTEE is a possible front runner but needs to improve time wise and has shown very little lately and will be an outsider.

SIR RODNEYREDBLOOD is in cracking form and has won over this course and distance but its times are usually slower percentage wise over the 6 furlongs and may be worth taking on if a short price (is forecast to be the favourite).

COOPERATIVE is a versatile 3yo who can deploy any racing tactics and recorded the best speed figure in this race two runs ago but that was a class 5 race and hasn't shown anything like that form in previous attempts in higher class races but never say never.

RESTLESS ENDEAVOUR comes out 2nd best on my figures and has improved in each of its last 3 runs and could go one better than last time and get back to winning ways. 

HURAIZ isn't in my top 4 rated horses and usually tracks the leaders and may struggle to pick up the leaders in this race. 

FAUVETTE is my 3rd top rated which it recorded when winning over this course and distance but those times were recorded it lower class races and may struggle here so maybe worth laying is single figure odds.

MOUNT MOGAN has been known to lead before but time wise it needs to improve a good few spots and may struggle to win in this class but could go well. 

SUMMARY: Only 7 runners for this class 3 handicap I think Sir Rodneyredblood 7/2 maybe shorter than its actual chance over this longer distance so I will be laying as it is the forecast  favourite and Fauvette 7/2 is another one I will take on if its of value to do so, my money will be riding on RESTLESS ENDEAVOUR 7/2 who should be able to sit just behind the front runners ready to attack and stay on the stronger at the finish.

CHELMSFORD 3.15 

This class 6 race has only the one known front running type in Champagne Supernova and it could be dangerous if allowed an easy lead and sets a slower pace and keep plenty in reserve to hold off any late attacks but I doubt that will happen with several that like to chase the leaders, I will look to lay Delegate The Lady 7/1, who both race as though a longer trip would suit them better, if they are a single figure price. LETHAL ANGEL 7/1 comes out top rated on just 2021 c/d speed figures and joint 2nd top rated overall so has to be carrying some of my money, the other joint 2nd top rated is COME ON GIRL 11/1 but that is using a 2020 speed figure and its 2021 c/d rating is 2nd best for just this year, the top weight NUBOUGH 7/2 is dropped in class to run in this race and it has a rating form 2020 that puts it in top spot and I will be backing all three of them.

WOLVERHAMPTON 4.00 

I will start this race off with something I will be laying and that is Grandfather Tom 5/1 who surprised me when it won last time out but in that race it was allowed an easy lead so set a slowish early pace and had plenty in reserve at the finish and the final time was slow even for its lowly class, I doubt that will happen in this race as for the winner that's a lot more complex, Qaaraat is always capable, when the mood takes him, but has been running in class 6 without running and its raised to class 5 here but today's jockey does well for the stable so they could be hoping for a big run in this race and this ones stablemate Mutabaahy is another that could win if in the mood it likes to track the pacesetter and then stay on strongly at the finish and is dropped in class here, Glamorous Force is usually held up for a late run and could possibly get there here and it does have a positive looking jockey booking, Trusty Rusty also cannot be ignored and likes to track the leaders and then stay on resolutely nearing the finish, I will probably dutch the four of them, MUTABAAHY 8/1, GLAMOROUS FORCE 7/1, TRUSTY RUSTY 5/1 and QAARAAT 9/1 to small stakes but perhaps the best way to make money from this competitive race is to concentrate on the best lay in the race.

2:45 Hamilton Racing Tips (3rd June)

HAMILTON 2.45 

With 11 runners and a couple that have been known to lead before it should be a true run race, I will look to lay Illusionist 5/1 if a single figure price as it might be too far for it with a fast early pace, it is quite competitive at the top of my figures and Call Me Ginger, Embour and Manigordo could all go well in this race but I think the trainer Tim Easterby could hold the key to this race as both of his horses are two known to show the early pace, he jockey onEquiano Springs is a versatile type when it comes to racing tactics but DANZAN 4/1 has a time from 2019 that would make it my top rated and the apprentice has a good 24% win ratio for the stable and I'm hoping it can get away quickly and lead from start to finish.

If the going is good to firm then I will look to lay Ey Up Its Mick 4/1 who seems to prefer good or softer ground, Hart Stopper is 4th on my figures and should run its usual consistent race and could make the frame if others falter, Picks Pinta is 3rd best but hasn't shown much time wise since 2019, MR WAGYU 7/2 is my 2nd top rated but is the only known front runner in the race so could be more than dangerous if allowed an easy lead but I do have NUBOUGH 5/1 rated higher and this one usually runs on strongly at the finish and I will have to back them both to cover the angles.

With 6 runners its still not an easy race to analyse, Major Pusey may need this run for fitness and I think it might go from the front and then tire in the closing stages, Latin Five may need further to show its best and has only won once from 17 races, there is very little between Lady Celia, Buniann and Ventura Flame and any or all could go well but top rated is BALLYARE 5/1 but this one hasn't won in 9 previous attempts and only placed once plus it has poor, 0-5 Trainer and 0-7 jockey stats so maybe this race is best left alone and I will only bet if there is any value, 6/1 or above.

A field of 13 with 3, Good Night Mr Tom, Quick Look and Kolossus, known front running types, I'm not sure the first 2 really like good to firm ground so maybe the latter will do best of the pacesetters and it does come out joint 4th top rated so could go well with an easy lead, Ice Age is top using a time from 2019 but isn't in my top 6 on recent 2020/21 times and has poor trainer/jockey stats, Highjacked has been in good form lately and I expect it could go well again here but it is a step up in class and I doubt it will be of value to take the risk, Mutanaaseq could be staying on at the finish but maybe not quick enough to get there in time to win the race, I will be having a small wager on DICK DATCHERY 10/1 who can track the leaders or be held up for a late run, it is a competitive race and my stakes will be kept low.

Only 5 runners for this class 3 race, I'm not sure Araifjan is quite up to this class of race, Top Breeze hasn't really shown much time wise since 2018, top weight Ivetheengine also needs to improve time wise to win this race which leaves me with POWER OVER ME 11/4 who is one of 2 known front runners in the race and if getting to the front it could prove hard to catch and I expect it to be the favourite but if CORINTHIA KNIGHT 11/2 can reproduce its best time from Kempton at this course it could possibly catch the leader and looks the value call in the race but I will do them both to cover the angles.

5:15 Newcastle Racing Tips (4th December)

NEWCASTLE 5.15 6f Class 3 

The bottom 3 in this handicap maybe outclassed at this level in terms of winning the race but could run ok, the two 3yo’s Juan Les Pins and Gowanlad could also run good races but would need to improve time wise to win this race but that's not out of the question, I will split my bet in this race with 2 selections, ASTRO JAKK 13/2 who likes to track the leaders and then stay on dourly at the finish is my top rated on just 2020 c/d times which is usually a positive for its chances and the jockeys record of one win from two rides makes me think they are hoping/expecting to follow up here from their win last time out but I am also interested with the top weight MOHAREB 13/2 who hasn't any c/d form this year but it has a time from 2019 that would make it a big contender for the race and this is a drop in class for it, even in stall 9 in the make-up of this race it could lead or at least contest the lead and if getting to the front it ought to prove hard to catch.

NEWCASTLE 7.15 6f Class 5 

There's at least 5 horses that have only poor recent form but they all look to be outsiders looking at the tissue prices plus the 3 at the bottom of the weights may not be of this class of horse so that's over half the field on my shouldn't be able to win list, if only it was that easy, Exchequer, Pearl Of Qatar and Prophecy have all been known to lead if nothing else wants to and maybe the middle one will do best of those running from the front if deploying those tactics in this race, my top rated on just 2020 c/d times is NUBOUGH 9/2 who will be carrying some of my money, it is usually found running either in midfield or held up for a late charge but I will also be backing FRIENDLY ADVICE 16/1 (EW) who is dropped in class to run in this race and if able to reproduce its best Wolverhampton time at this course would have a decent chance of getting back to winning ways and at the price has to be given as an each way wager.
