2:30 Catterick Racing Tips (24th August)

CATTERICK 2.30

A nice looking class 4 race with 10 contestants and one known front running type, I would possibly look to lay both Vintage Clarets and Spring Is Sprung but as they are both 3yo’s I'm never 100% sure as they could still improve without warning, Dark Shot can struggle to stay the distance is there's a fast early pace, Oso Rapido, Embour, Muscika, Impeller and Birkenhead all have pieces of form that would see them compete to make the frame but this race might fall into the lap of JORDAN ELECTRICS 9/1 (EW) who is a confirmed front runner and if allowed an easy lead, which could happen here unless something else changes from their usual racing tactics, and a repeat of its Hamilton rating would see it get back to winning ways and might even be worth backing each way.

ABANDONED

MUSSELBURGH 2.50

A field of 9 runners with 3 that have been known to lead before, I will look to lay Koropick if its a single figure price as the trainer is 0-18 at this course and its last win was back in 2017, I might also lay the 3yo Primo who has only produced slow times over this distance, the 3 at the top pf the handicap are the known front running types but Abel Handy doesn't seem to want fast good to firm ground hence why its times are relatively slow, Canaria Prince is my 3rd top rated and could set the pace to the race so could be dangerous but I will be backing TANASOQ 13/2 who is versatile when it comes to its racing tactics and that does include leading and has a good positive jockey booking and if getting to the front then should prove more than hard to catch.

Tanasoq 13/2 3rd -1pt

Total -1pt

CATTERICK 3.00

Twelve runners but only one natural front running type in Hot Scoop but I doubt it can lead all the way for the victory as it needs to improve a good few spots time wise so maybe one to lay as could Wades Magic be as it doesn't seem to like the fast good to firm surfaces, Point Of Woods can find the distance too far on good to firm ground so another lay if value to do so, Billian is capable of recording a good speed figure but usually on flatter courses and hasn't been in good form lately, Stronsay recorded a good speed figure at Hamilton last year but hasn't been anywhere near that standard so far this year and it also has poor trainer stats of 1-48 at this course, Ginato hasn't been in good form lately but its best from 2021 would see it be competitive here, others that are capable of going well are Portelet Bay and Freedom Flyer but neither have been in great form while the top weighted RAIN CAP 10/3 has been in tremendous form winning 3 of its last 4 races and its shrewd trainer has found it another good opportunity to add to its win tally.

ABANDONED

LINGFIELD 3.40

A field of 12 for this class 6 race on the artificial Polytrack surface where I can see 3 runners, Viewfromthestars, Sir Rodneyredblood and Cool Spirit, who have been known to lead before and latter pair are course and distance winners and either could possibly do enough from the front to make the frame, Sir Sedric seems to either prefer a longer distance or the Tapeta surface so might be of value to lay, Real Estate has won its last 2 races and is going for the hattrick here and comes out in 2nd top spot on my figures so could possibly win this race but I will be backing the top weighted BIG BARD 14/1 who recorded a rating at Chelmsford last year which would be good enough to win this race and has what looks a significantly positive jockey booking who has a 21% win ratio on the stables older horses and at the price it has to be backed each way.

5:50 Hamilton Racing Tips (8th June)

HAMILTON 5.50

I very often look at these amateur jockey races and decide to leave them alone but for some unknown reason I analysed this one thoroughly and if I'm right I'm going to be glad I did, Deevious Beau 11/2 has poor form on turf but is the only one in the field known to front run but even with an easy lead I doubt it can hold on for the win, looking at the early tissue prices both How Bizarre 8/1 and Marwarl 11/2, who might need a longer distance to show their best form, are forecast to be single figure prices so I would look to lay them, my money will be riding on HARD SOLUTION 13/2 the trainer has a 20% win ratio at the course and the jockey is 4-8 on the stables older horses.

Hard Solution 7/1 6th -1pt

KEMPTON 6.30

Only 7 runners but I am not sure what will set the pace which is always a worry so I don't think I will be able to find anything to lay and as for the winner I would side with CAMACHESS 10/3 who likes to track the leader/s and then stay on the stronger at the finish and is my top rated and the jockey has a 4-11 strike rate for the stable which hopefully makes me think connections are expecting it to get back to winning ways here.

Camachess 10/3 3rd -1pt

HAMILTON 8.20

I can see two front runners in this field of nine in a class four race, I will start with something I will look to lay, Internationaldream 11/1, if its a single figure price, I could add Tipperary Tiger 9/2 to the list if the going is good to firm as it isn't its favoured surface, Ballyconneely Bay 9/1 is another that doesn't seem to like fast ground but could be a danger if the going was just genuinely good, my top rated is Jordon Electrics 3/1 who is one of the possible pace setters and would have been my bet in this race, it finished 2nd last time out but the time was relatively slow for this class of a race, the trainer is 0-16 in the last 2 weeks and its been 174 days since the stable last had a winner plus at this course the trainer is 1-20 and the jockey is 0-4 for the stable so I will be siding with CHOOKIE DUNEDIN 2/1 who won last time out and has been found a good opportunity to follow up here.

Chookie Dunedin 5/1 8th -1pt

Lay bet Internationaldream +1pt

HAMILTON 8.50

A six runner dash with half the field being front running sorts and in such a small field the draw wont make much difference, I will look to lay Joshua R 5/1 who might get outpaced in the early stages here and then stay on too late to pick up the leaders, Sixcor 3/1 could do best of those coming from off the pace seeing that its my 3rd top rated, Refuge 11/1 is my 2nd top rated and a possible pacesetter but I will be backing TANASOQ 9/2 who can lead but doesn't need to as its a versatile type, the jockey has a 17% win ratio for the stable so I'm hoping that's a good pointer.

3:30 Southwell Racing Tips (10th March)

SOUTHWELL 3.30 Div I

Too many races to write up about every horse in every race, this is a stakes race with just 3 horses rated 50 and one of them FOSSOS 16/1 is the only known front running type in the race and if getting to the front could have everything its own way and that is always dangerous, it hasn't been in form lately but this race wont take much winning, I will look to lay Arzaak who can find the distance too far in a true run race with a decently fast early pace, I will also back GIANT STEPS 12/1 (EW) who has recorded a decent time over this c/d but its still a maiden after 19 runs and the trainer is 0-25 at this course but the jockey does well for the stable, now I've seen the betting I will be having 2 each way bets in this race.

SOUTHWELL 4.05 Div II

This division isn't much better and again there is 3 runners that are rated highest on 50 and one of them Chocco Star is one I will look to lay as it usually needs a run after a break for fitness although it is my 2nd top rated using a time from Wolverhampton last year and has only won once from 18 AW races, the front running type Seeking Perfection is top rated using a 2021 Newcastle speed figure but has been way out of form lately, my money will be riding on the other front running type in the shape of INDIAN AFFAIR 14/1 and the trainer has a decent 21% strike rate at this course.

Indian Affair 33/1 5th -1pt

Total -1pt

SOUTHWELL 4.39

A class 3 race this doesn't look too great, Fine Wine 8/1 could be the one to set the pace but is up in class and may get outclassed but could be dangerous if allowed a soft lead but is only 4th best on my figures, the bottom weight Atlyah 10/3 is also likely to be outclassed at this level and one I will look to lay, the top weight Begerac has only 1 run over this distance on this surface at Wolverhampton and recorded a good speed figure but it usually runs well after a break and could make the frame here but hasn't ever won after a break so maybe a place only bet on the exchanges for this one, my money will be riding on SECOND COLLECTION 6/1 just hoping its not 2nd places its collecting, it recorded a decent rating on its sole run this year at Wolverhampton and if able to reproduce its best time from 2019 it would get back to winning ways.

NEWCASTLE 6.30

There might be 12 runners but none of them are what I would call natural front running types which might hinder some of the runners, Merry Spirit 11/2 might be worth laying as I think it needs further to show its best form and this race might not be run to suit it, Mostallim has the best time from those that have run at Southwell on the newish Tapeta surface but hasn't shown much on the surface elsewhere, Desert Lime could go well again here as it looks to complete its hat trick and its hard to know what its done time wise as the surface has been running slower than normal, I cannot work out how GINATO 11/2 hasn't won any of its 14 AW races although it has made the frame in half of them and was unlucky when finishing 2nd behind Desert Lime where it didn't get a clear run when trying to make its move towards the front and the jockey does have a decent 25% win ratio for the stable.

NEWCASTLE 7.30

There's 5 known front running types in this 12 runner race but I think they might be setting the race up for something coming from off the pace, Blackcurrant, Joshua R and Ubaaha could go well from the front and could even make the frame but which one/s I'm not really sure, Porfin 6/1 might need further to show its best and could be worth laying, meanwhile I will be backing TANASOQ 11/2 who usually tracks the leaders and then stays on strongly at the finish and in the make-up of this race it could get a good tow into the race from stall 11 and get a good early position from which to attack nearing the finish.

3:12 Southwell Racing Tips (24th February)

SOUTHWELL 3.12

Only 7 runners so maybe no each way bets, I will look to lay Broken Spear 8/1 who may need further and this surface might not suit it, Patsy Fagan comes out 2nd top rated but that was recorded in lower class races so might not be able to repeat those ratings in this class of race but I'm not sure I could lay it, Global Warning 5/1 may set the pace to the race and being my 3rd top rated it could take some catching but I do have SHALLOW HAL 5/1 rated higher and this one usually likes to track the leaders and then stay on the stronger at the finish.

Shallow Hal 5/1 2nd -1pt

SOUTHWELL 3.47

There's 9 runners this time, I could look to lay Hey Mr 6/1 if its a single figure price as this isn't its favoured surface and Corinthia Knight who hasn't been in form lately and its last AW win was back in 2018, Mulzim 28/1 might be overpriced if the tissue prices are to be believed and could possibly make the frame, AIRSHOW 7/1 might have been my sole bet in this race as its my top rated using recent c/d ratings here but the trainers 1-27 win ratio at this course is a little bit off putting plus its been 9 runners and over a month since they last had a winner, NIGHT ON EARTH 4/1 comes out top rated using Tapeta times either at Newcastle or Wolverhampton and this one usually runs on well in the closing stages of the race.

SOUTHWELL 4.22

A class 6 stakes race where Papa's Girl 3/1 should win being the top rated on the official handicappers ratings but is only 4th top rated on recent c/d speed figures so maybe not of value to back, I was going to look to lay Arzaak 5/1 who seems better on the Polytrack but with no known front runners in this race that might not matter too much but Gleaming Maize 8/1 may prefer further and this race might not be run to suit it so maybe worth laying if a single figure price, my money will be riding on BLUELLA 16/1 who usually stays on at the business end of a race and does look to be running into form and the stable is in good form at the present.

NEWCASTLE 6.30

A poor turnout of just 5 runners for this race where Alablaq might set the early pace and could be dangerous if allowed an easy lead as a longer trip might suit it better and is dropped in class to run at this level, I will look to lay Gowanlad 9/4 who might prefer a longer distance and this race might not be run to suit it plus its got poorish trainer stats with an 8% win ratio while the jockey is 2-31 and 0-18 on the stables older horses, my money will be riding on TATHMEEN 3/1 who usually tracks the leaders and then stays on strongly at the finish.

The pacesetter in this race is likely to e Joshua R and it could be dangerous if allowed to dominate and set its own slower early pace, Elzaal 15/2 comes out top rated but may need this run for fitness after a 136 days break, Amazing Amaya 9/2 could go well and make the frame but would need to improve a little time wise to win this race if others reproduce their previous best, I will be looking to back the top weight TANASOQ 7/1 who is a previous course and distance winner and the jockey has a 27% win ratio when riding for this stable, it should be staying on strongly in the closing stages of the race

7:00 Newcastle Racing Tips (19th February)

NEWCASTLE 7.00

KNOCKABOUT QUEEN comes out 5th top on its 2022 c/d speedfigure and 4th top using its best 2020 rating and could make the frame here.

WON LOVE won last time out in a slow run affair where it was allowed to set a sedate early pace so the result may have flattered it but wont be allowed that luxury here and one I will take on with a lay bet.

EDESSANN has only poor form on both of the artificial surfaces and I expect the price to reflect that with it being one of the outsiders in this race.

FARHSICAL has had 2 run over this course and distance but it hasn't registered a rating in either race and will be another outsider.

HIGHLAND REEL this one has poor form over this distance on the All-Weather surfaces and that's mainly because I think it needs a longer distance to show its best form so another outsider.

JEMS BOND is just outside my top four using my speed figures, it usually tries to stay on nearing the finish and may be better when racing over a longer distance and maybe be worth laying if a single figure price at the off.

PENOMBRE is still a maiden after having had 12 races, 6 of them being on an AW track and the trainer has had 27 runners in the last 51 days without having had a winner and one I will take on if of value to do so.

QAARAAT this horse is a rule unto itself it could run well or could run badly is my 2nd top rated so would make the frame if doing its best.

ROCKLEY POINT hasn't shown any worthwhile form lately but its best figure from either 2021 or 2020 would be good enough to win this race and if getting to the front it could prove hard to catch.

SLEIGHT will be trying to stay on nearing the finish and being my 3rd top rated it could run into a place so might be worth an each way interest.

TARHELM hasn't shown much worthwhile form for quite awhile now, I expect it to be an outsider and would be a surprise if it got back to winning ways in this race.

WICKLOW WARRIOR is only just outside my top four ratings in this race but is another that's not been in good form lately and likely to e an outsider.

SUMMARY: This class 6 stakes race wont take much winning so any stakes are automatically kept low, I will look to lay Penombre 6/1 and Won Love 7/2 if they are value to lay, Qaaraat 11/1, Sleight 11/1 and Knockabout Queen 3/1 could make the frame so maybe worth an each way interest if a bit enough price, I will be taking a risky punt on ROCKLEY POINT 40/1 (EW) who has been known to lead before and with no other known front running types in this race I hope that's the tactics they deploy and if doing so could lead all the way but an each way bet will give a bit of insurance if it does lead and gets caught but I think with this horse its either hit or miss and I personally will stick with a win bet.

GOOD EARTH doesn't feature in my top four ratings but will be trying to stay on at the finish but maybe too late for the win but it could possibly make the frame.

ONE HART has average looking trainer/jockey stats but is another that might need further to show its best but this one I will look to lay if a single figure price.

KHABIB is one of the two known front runners in this race but time wise its not in my top four ratings using a Wolverhampton speed figure.

SAVALAS hasn't shown much time wise since 2020 , its best in 2021 only just registers on my figures but its 2020 rating would put it in 2nd top spot on overall figures but it think it will be an outsider on recent form.

ANNIE ROSE sits a bit outside my top four ratings but it was recorded here this year which is always a positive it stays on as though further would suit it better and might be worth laying.

TANTASTIC this one sits just outside my top four rated horses and has a poor 1-15 record on the artificial surfaces so not for me.

MUTABAAHY this one also sits just outside my top four rated horses and another one that might be better suited to a longer distance but I expect it to be an outsider.

TATHMEEN is my fourth top rated horse using a time from way back in 2019 and its had five slow times over this course and distance since that year so maybe one to lay if of value.

SAM'S CALL hasn't any distance form on an artificial surface and it best form on turf is too low to register and likely to be a double figure price.

TANASOQ this one is my top rated using a course and distance it record last year and its fourth place finish last time out hinted at a return to form might be imminent.

MOKAMANN is the other known front running type and is my third top rated and could go well with an easy lead although its still a maiden after 11 attempts on the AW courses and hasn't shown much lately and likely to be an outsider.

SUMMARY:

The early pace looks likely to be set by Mokaman 25/1 and or Khabib 16/1 but doubt either can stay there for the victory as they have both been out of form but I think they will be double figure prices, I will look to lay One Hart 6/1 if a single figure price, there might be an addition to this list, namely Sam's Call , when I've seen some betting, Savalas 16/1 is my second top rated horse in this race and could go well if it avoids early trouble being drawn in between the 2 likely pacesetters in stall 3, my money will be riding on TANASOQ 8/1 who hinted at a return to form on its last run and a repeat of its best speed figure from last year would see it winning a shade cosily.

5:30 Newcastle Racing Tips (21st December)

NEWCASTLE 5.30

GOOD EARTH 9/2 hasn't won in 17 previous runs on an artificial surface and looking as though longer distance will suit it better this is one that might be worth looking to lay at the price.

MUTABAAHY 5/1 has average jockey stats and is maybe the stable's second string especially when its stablemate could feasibly lead all the way, so this one might be better over further and maybe one to lay.

TERUNTUM STAR 10/1 has poor trainer, 3%, and jockey, 0-6, stats and it is still winless on an artificial surface and races as though a longer distance would suit better and it is one that I would look to lay if its a single figure price.

UBAHHA 6/1 is a 3yo who is versatile with its racing tactics and that includes leading, the apprentice jockey is 1-2 for the stable so it looks a positive jockey booking and it could lead here as there is not any other known pacesetters in the race and could have an easy lead here.

TANASOQ 8/1 has a time it recorded in October over this course and distance, which would give it a chance to get back to winning ways here, the jockey has a 25% win ratio for the stable making me think they are expecting a big run here.

FOR PEATS SAKE 9/1 has a speed figure that puts it in my top 3 ratings, it usually likes to track the leaders and could feasibly make the frame and is a course and distance winner from March earlier this year but its recent form, time wise, has been a bit below that level.

SUGAR BABY 7/2 is usually held up for a late run, it finished 2nd last time out but that was a slow run affair so might be a shorter price than it merits plus the stable hasn't had a winner for over 180 days so I would look to lay this runner at the price.

BRIDGETOWN 6/1 hasn't any form over this distance but did weaken over 7 furlongs so this 6 furlong trip could suit it but it does look as though further should suit it better but not a bet or a lay for me.

SUMMARY: There are a few in this race I could look to lay, Good Earth, Mutabaahy, *Teruntum Star and Sugar Baby (by laying more than one runner you cover some of your stake as only one of them can win) UBAHHA 6/1 could be the one to set the pace to this race and could do enough from the front to win this race but i do have TANASOQ 8/1 rated a few spots higher using its best rating recorded in October when finishing 2nd and then had a break and it has had two recent runs for fitness and may now be ready to show its best.

NEWCASTLE 5.30

A nice looking class 4 race and a full house of 14 runners, there is 3 or 4 that have been known to lead before so it should be a true run race, I would lay Ginger Jam 10/1 if it was single figure price as this trip might be too far for it with a fast early pace and the 3yo River Tweed 4/1 can be added to the list as I am not convinced this surface will suit it after winning on good to soft conditions on grass, Lezardieux my 4th top rated and Giogiobbo 25/1 my 3rd top rated have both been known to lead so there should be a good fast early pace and being in stalls 2 and 13 the early pace should be spread out across the course and at the price the latter maybe worth a small each way punt, Fortamour in stall 9 is my 2nd top rated and should be staying on at the finish but my money will be riding on the 3yo CAPTAIN VALLO 4/1 who has one win and 2 placed efforts to its name from 3 runs on an artificial surface and this one is another that ought to be staying on strongly at the finish but i am not convinced you want a low draw at this straight course but if able to reproduce its best speed rating it ought to win with a little bit in hand.

To be honest this class 5 race is as bad as they get, I'm not sure I can find anything of value to lay in this race unless Fine Wine is a single figure price, which I somehow doubt, but when it comes to finding the winner my analysis keeps bumping into negatives, on my speed figures I've got 2 horses that are top rated on just 2021 course and distance ratings and then 2 others that have better ratings but from last year, I hope that the early pace might be set by VAN GERWEN 18/1 who is joint 3rd top rated for just this year and 2nd top on my overall figures and will hopefully be an each way bet, QAARAAT 18/1 has been in poor form lately and its best course and distance time this year is quite a bit lower than its 2020 figure which would make it my top rated by just 2lbs and this one has been known to bounce back to form without any warning and this ones stable has had 4-12 winners in the last 2 week so maybe worth a small each way punt at the price, FOR PEATS SAKE 4/1 comes out 2nd top rated on just this years ratings and being a 3yo it could still improve but isn't the best of value but I cant dismiss it as it could easily win this race, I have TANASOQ 13/2 in top spot for this years ratings and it showed a bit of a return to form when finishing 2nd last time out, I will be dutching all four of them to small stakes and each way bets if they are value to do so.

AYR 5.45

JAARYLAH 4/1 hasn't any form at this distance on turf and i think it might be better when running over a longer distance and has poorish trainer 1-6 and jockey 1-15 stats so maybe worth laying.

PEARL OF QATAR 11/8 has good trainer 33% and jockey 17% win stats and it usually stays on strongly at the business end of a race admittedly its a poor price.

NEVER IN PARIS 9/2 has only slow times and maybe because it doesn't do its best on good to firm ground and the jockey has poor stats of 0-6 on the stables older horses so one to lay if the going is good to firm.

AVEBURY 7/1 its one run over this distance on good ground resulted in a slow time and may be another that doesn't really like fast going, not enough data to be confident enough to lay it.

AMAZING ALBA 14/1 has only slow times over this distance and seems much better when racing over shorter distances would be a lay if a single figure price.

ORIENTAL LILLY 8/1 hasn't shown much since 2019 where it recorded its best time but it hasn't won on turf since 2018 which is off-putting.

SUMMARY: I am not sure what will lead in this race which always means that my stakes will be kept on the low side of things, if I go back to 2018 times then Oriental Lilly would be my top rated but hasn't shown much time wise recently but I will be siding with PEARL OF QATAR 11/8 who is my 2nd top rated and that is using a time from this year an also has good trainer/jockey stats which makes me think the connections are expecting it to get back to winning ways in this race.

Another day, another winner. Admittedly, this was a favourite but a profit is a profit. You may have wanted to visit France and experience a little Parisian culture or just get stuck in at casino france and spend out with your Euros.

I've got a couple of mates who emigrated to New Zealand. It's meant to be a beautiful place. The closest I've got to the place yet is visiting newzealandcasinos casino and I filled my pockets with loot.

AYR 6.45

MODULAR MAGIC 9/4 usually likes to track the leaders but its run on good to form ground back in 2019 resulted in it not even registering on my figures but I am sure its capable of better but for its 1st run of the year I will leave it alone.

SOUND OF IONA 6/1 usually held up for a late run but time wise it would need to improve to win this race so may not catch the leader/s in this race.

PAVERS PRIDE 5/1 a natural front running type and is my 3rd top rated and could go well if allowed an easy lead and has decent trainer/jockey stats.

TANASOQ 5/2 is a versatile type when it comes to racing tactics and has good jockey stats and is strong at the business end of its races and is my joint top rated.

MAJOR PUSEY 4/1 another versatile type and is my other joint top rated but the apprentice riding this one is 0-5 for the stable which is a little off-putting.

SUMMARY: Any of the bottom 3 in the handicap could lead here but Paver's Pride is the more natural front runner in the field, I think the top weight Modular Magic may need this run for fitness, the jockey booking on TANASOQ 5/2 who is joint top rated on my figures makes it the one I will be betting.

This race isn't one to be getting too heavily involved in with over half the field being lightly raced types, I cannot find anything worthwhile to lay, Rainbow Mirage 6/1 who is usually held up for a late run but with no known front runner in the race it might not be run to suit this horse, I will be having a wager on LETHAL ANGEL 9/1 who recorded a time at Yarmouth in 2020 which would see it winning a shade cosily and the jockey is 1-1 on its only previous ride for today's stable which I hope is a positive to connections expecting it to get back to winning ways in this race.

AYR 3.55

In this 8 runner dash I can see 3 natural front running types and another that could lead if needs be as those 3 probable pacesetters, Requiems Dream, Suwaan and Indian Pursuit as they all have a negative against their name, the first two not being in good form in their recent runs and the other one may need further on good to firm ground, if TANASOQ 13/2 gets to the front from stall 2 it could be hard to catch and starts off as my top rated being 4lbs clear of my 2nd top rated but as ECONOMIC CRISIS 5/2 is being ridden by a 5lb claiming apprentice and that moves it to top spot by 1lb so with it being so close between them i will be backing them both to cover the angles.

Economic Crisis 11/2 2nd -1pt
Tanasoq 13/2 2nd -1pt

RIPON 7.30

I'm hoping the ground will have dried out for this meeting so please check before you have any bets, its not a race where I can see anything worth laying which shows how competitive this race is, the early pace will be set by either Bossipop 4/1 in stall 1 or Marks Choice 13/2 in stall 6 with the latter being my 3rd top rated it should be a true run affair, Gunmetal 9/1 is the horse sitting in 2nd top spot but I don't think this one wants really fast good to firm ground so it could be ideal for it but i will be backing TREACHEROUS 13/2 who recorded its best time at Goodwood in 2020 and a repeat of that time would be good to get back to winning ways here and it has won 3 of its 6 races over this distance.

Treacherous 13/2 9th -1pt

RIPON 9.00

I will look to lay the bottom weight Lucky Beggar 3/1 who won last time out but that was in a class 6 race and seems to struggle in class 5 races like this one but knowing its in tip top form is always a positive but it is forecast to be favourite so no value in my thinking, any others that i think can be lay bets are I think going to be big prices, the 2 at the top of the handicap James Watt 9/1 and East Street Review 6/1 could both go well if they can reproduce their best times from 2019 but both of them haven't been near those heights since that year so I will be siding with HARROGATE 5/2 who is the only known front running type in the race and if it does lead it could prove hard to catch.

1:40 Doncaster Racing Tips (23rd April)

DONCASTER 1.40

Only 5 runners and none of them are what I call natural front runners but I do think my selection, TANASOQ 7/2, who has led before when nothing else wants to could lead all the way here for the victory, I'm not sure Autumn Flight 11/10 really likes good to firm ground so at the price i would take the risk and lay it, Son And Sannie comes 4th on my figures and usually tracks the leaders, both Powerallied and Secretinthepark race as though further would suit them better and they are my 3rd and 2nd top rated horses.

DONCASTER 4.00

Up to 9 runners in this race but only 1, Come On Girl, is known as a front running type and it comes out 2nd best on recent, 2020/21, times and 3rd top on overall figures, Molly Sure has good trainer/jockey stats and comes out in 4th top spot but I'm not sure it likes good to firm ground but could still make the frame, Dandys Girl is 5th top but is 0-10 over this distance on turf, Clegane 2/1 is the favourite but the trainers 1-20 win record at this course doesn't inspire confidence but the jockey stats are 15% win ratio for the stable on their older horses but its best time from 2019 would make it my top rated on overall figures but that is only by 1lb above *YUKON MISSION 9/2 who recorded its time at Pontefract in 2020 and the jockey has a decent 15% win ratio on the stables older horses and will be the one carrying my money.
