6:50 Redcar Racing Tips (27th August)

REDCAR 6.50

A field of 13 but not one known front running type amongst them which is always a bugbear when trying to analyse a race, if there was guaranteed to be a fast early gallop I would have looked to lay both Prodigious Blue and Kendred Fire despite them being 3yo’s but I might look to lay As If By Chance 7/2 at the price as it looks way too short for its chance of winning and Classy Al but with the lack of known pacesetters I cannot lay anything because if it turns into a 2 furlong dash anything could happen, Surprise Picture 12/1 and Mutanaaseq 20/1 my 5th and 4th top rated horses could make the frame if others falter, 3rd top spot goes to Lost My Sock 14/1 who looks as though a longer distance would suit it better so this race might not be run to suit it, Captain Vallo 12/1 usually likes to track the leaders and comes out in 2nd top spot,my top rated is HAIL SEZER 12/1 who was a beaten favourite last time it ran and now seems to be a bigger price than its chance of winning the race and a reproduction of its best rating recorded at Carlisle last year would see it winning this race a shade cosily as usual with the price on offer it has to be an each way wager but my stakes wont be at full strength with the lack of known early paced sorts in the race.

Div I: I can only see Cuppacoco 7/1 as a front running type in this race and being my 2nd top rated it ought to prove hard to catch if getting to the front and it has finished 2nd in both of its last 2 starts and I'm hoping that will happen here and it could be the one to do for the forecast, I doubt there will be anything of value to lay as my top 4 ratings are the only horses forecast to be single figure prices, Dreamcasing 9/4 is my 4th top rated and usually stays on at the finish and could make the frame but I don't think it will win the race so maybe worth laying the win part at such short odds, Dirchill comes out in 3rd top spot and can be held up or track the leaders and another possible each way bet but my money will be riding on HURSTWOOD 11/4 who likes to track the leaders and then stay on the stronger at the finish and the jockey booking looks a positive move making me think connections expect it to follow up its win last time out.

REDCAR 7.50

Div II: This is the slightly worse division but once again I can only see one known front runner in the race in the shape of Quercus who is my 3rd top rated mainly because there is only 3 runners with a recorded speed rating and would need to pinch the race from the front but I can't quite see that happening but it could do enough to make the frame, the only horse of value that I can see to lay is Birdie Bowers who might find the distance too far on turf as it seems much better on the AW surfaces, Aconcagua Mountain is my 2nd top rated and is usually held up for a late run and could make the frame but I will be relying on the top weighted ISLE OF DREAMS 3/1 who has been found a good opportunity to complete its hattrick and it usually tracks the leaders before staying on the stronger at the finish.

2:10 Ascot Racing Tips (6th August)

ASCOT 2.10

Not a bad looking class 2 dash where half of the 10 runners have been known to lead before so I expect it will be fast and furious if that's possible over this stiff course, I think it will be a race where I will back one of the likely pacemakers and one that comes from off the pace to cover the angles, Hurricane Ivor 10/1 would need to improve on its best 2021 rating to win this race and hasn't shown anything worthwhile in its 3 runs this year so could be worth laying if a single figure price, King Of Stars 11/2 is my 4th top rated and a possible pacesetter and could make the frame if others falter but isn't really an each way price, Count D’Orsay 7/1 is my 3rd top rated but doesn't seem completely at ease on fast good to firm ground, i have joint top rated horses in LAMPANG 12/1 (EW) who likes to run from the front and recorded its best time at Hamilton last year so should be ok on this course, DUBAI STATION 16/1 (EW) usually likes to track the leaders before staying on the stronger in the closing stages and this race could be run to suit it as the early pace could be too fast and then some would fade nearing the finish but neither of my 2 bets have good trainer stats but luckily they are both each way prices so I will be having two each way wagers.

REDCAR 4.02

This is a typical class 6 stakes race which wont take much winning, and most have not been in great form of late and only 4 horses have wins over this distance to their name and 3 of those wins are course and distance winners, Newgate Angel could set the pace to the race it would need to improve time wise to win the race but could do enough to make the frame so maybe worth an each way punt, Stroxx is my 3rd top rated but hasn't ever won over today's distance but could possibly make the frame, Koropick comes out in 2nd top spot but once again hasn't won over this distance so my money will be riding on CUPPACOCO 7/2 who is my top rated and ran well last time out when finishing 2nd and has been found an ideal opportunity to go one better here and get back to winning ways.

Cuppacoco 11/2 2nd -1pt

LINGFIELD 7.05

One front running type in this race is Enduring who could go well from the front and might be worth an each way interest if allowed to set a slower early pace but I doubt it will be allowed an easy lead in this race,, *Iconic Knight 6/1 won last time out over a furlong further than today's distance so might get outpaced here in the early stages but does come out in 3rd top spot using a Tapeta rating but that surface does seem to suit it better and maybe worth laying in this race, my 2nd top rating is Pablo Del Pueblo 12/1 who is the other horse known to lead before and could go well here after running on turf in its last few races and doing very little in its last 3 runs but the switch to this Polytrack surface could rejuvenate it and might be worth an each way interest but my money will be on COME ON GIRL 11/2 who is a course and distance winner and my top rated and the jockey booking looks a positive as he has a 27% win ratio on all the stables runners and 50% win ratio on the stables older horse, he won on the horse 2 runs ago but it was beaten last time out with an apprentice taking the ride but the switch back to today's jockey makes me believe connections are expecting it to get back to winning ways in this race.

4:20 Redcar Racing Tips (27th July)

REDCAR 4.20 Div I

The first of two pretty poor class 6 handicap sprints over 6 furlongs and the first problem I notice is the lack of front running type of horses, there's 2 in the 2nd division a shame there wasn't one in each, Rainbow Rain 7/2 won over today's course and distance but it was a relatively slow run race so it might have been flattered by that result and I could be tempted to lay it in this race but if nothing sets a good early gallop it could go well again, Isle Of Dreams 5/1 could be a danger if staying today's distance as it was running on over 5 when winning last time out, when tried over 7 furlongs it faded around the 5 furlong mark so this race could be too far for it but i'm not 100% sure so not sure whether to lay it or not, there is only 5 horses that have registered before on my figures, Mr Trevor and Dirchill are my 5th and 4th top rated, the 3yo Hurt You Never comes out 3rd best on both 2022 ratings where it is only 1lb below my top 2 rated horses and on my overall figures so could improve and might be worth an each way wager, DICK DATCHERY 15/2 (EW) is my 2nd top rated on overall figures and joint top on just 2022 times and is usually held up at the rear before staying on at the finish and with a clear run could win if my top rated falters, CUPPACOCO 14/1 (EW) is joint top on 2022 figures but has a time from 2021 at Thirsk which would see it winning a shade cosily but it hasn't been in good form lately else it would have been my sole bet in this race

REDCAR 4.55 Div II

This is definitely the better of the 2 divisions but there is only 6 runners with recorded speed figures, I haven't got a clue what will be favourite or if I can find anything of value to lay, there's 2 front running types in Annie Rose and Astapor and the latter is my 6th top rated so should ensure there's a decent early pace, Arnold is my 3rd top rated but the trainer is 2-49 overall and 1-16 with their older horses which doesn't inspire confidence, I have joint top rated horses in firstly Hurstwood 20/1 who hasn't been in good for recently plus the trainer is 0-12 at this course over the last 5 years, my second top rated horse is HARD SOLUTION 14/1 (EW) who also hasn't been in good form lately but has been known to spring back to form without warning and the trainer has a decent 16% win ratio at this course and the jockey has a 15% win ratio on the stables older horses which hopefully means that connections are expecting it to run well here and an each way wager could pay dividends.

1:55 Carlisle Racing Tips (16th May)

PS: Yes I know a postscript should be at the end of a piece of work my English isn't quite that bad, looking at the weather forecast everywhere is forecast to have rain either today and or tomorrow so please check the going before placing a bet on anything I've mentioned because if the going is on the soft side then my ratings are defunct and I have wasted several hours analysing and writing up today's sprints.

CARLISLE 1.55

A nine runner class 5 race so nothing to get too excited about but with 3 known front running types it should be a true run affair and of those 3 Runninwild may do best of them although I'm not completely sure what to expect from Stalingrad who might need further to show its best, East Street Revue and Good Earth are my joint 4th top rated with Melody King sitting in 3rd top spot, there is a 5lb gap between my top 2, Fashion Advice is my top rated but this one might need this run after not having had a run in the last year but would be dangerous if fully fit but i would rather back its stablemate, VENTURA FLAME 7/1 who is usually held up for a late run, as either could win this race I will have a covering bet on Fashion Advice just in case the stable are only trying with this one.

Ventura Flame 10/1 1st +10pts

Total +10pts

REDCAR 3.55

Just a poor turnout of 5 runners for this class 3 dash but luckily there is one known front runner amongst them, looking at the early tissue prices Sir Titus 3/1 is forecast to be the favourite but this one seems to do its winning in lower class races and I would think about laying it even if it is the favourite, Rebel At Dawn is my 3rd top rated and only 2lbs behind Soul Seeker in 2nd top spot but my top rated is *MODULAR MAGIC 11/4 and its the one known front running type in the race so hopefully it can lead all the way for victory.

*NR

No bet soft ground

WINDSOR 6.10

I hope that all 8 runners take part so I can have an each way bet, if I can find one, its so bad I cannot find with confidence anything to lay, Tabdeed comes out 3rd top on my figures who can be held up for a late run or tracks the leaders and then try to stay on at the finish, if I went back to 2020 then Atalantis Boy would be in 2nd top spot but hasn't been within 10 spots of that rating since then, my top rated is FIRST FOLIO 13/2 who recorded a rating at Yarmouth last year that would see it winning this race a shade cosily.

First Folio 13/2 2nd -1pt

Total -1pt

WINDSOR 6.40

A class 3 race with 12 runners and 4 that have been known to lead before, I might well look to lay The Princes Poet, Global Prospector 7/1 and Nelson Gay (non-runner) who might find this trip too far for them especially with a fast early pace then add Inver Park 6/1 who need to improve a good few spots time wise to win this race, Chipstead 12/1 is my 3rd top rated using a Goodwood rating this year, Media Guest 18/1 is my 2nd top rated using a 2021 Yarmouth usually held up for a late run but if SHOBIZ 11/2 can reproduce its best time from Yarmouth again here at Goodwood it can lead and hold on for the win.

Showbiz 11/2 9th -1pt

LEICESTER 7.50

Eleven runners in a class 4 race but again a big problem with no known front running types amongst them, with a fast early pace I could have eliminated Dream Composer 5/1, Prince Of Abington 11/2 and Dark Shot 40/1 who all might struggle to stay the distance although the middle one of those 3 is my 2nd top rated, using a speed figure it recorded at Carlisle last year LORD P 7/1 but the possible downfall could be that its usually races in midfield or held up for a late run so without a decent gallop things will be much harder for it to win.

2:17 Goodwood Racing Tips (22nd September)

GOODWOOD 2.17

An eight runner race and I hope all of them take part so there is 3 places up for grabs so I can have an each way bet, nothing is what I would call a natural front running sort in this race but Lockdown has done it before and might be the one to set the pace in this race and as its my 3rd top rated on just 2021 times it could do enough from the front to make the frame but I doubt it will be an each way price, Some Nightmare has the 3rd best speed figure on my overall figures but that was recorded in a lower class race than today's so might get outpaced in this race, Gilt Edge usually runs its race when it has its ideal conditions but is only 4th best on my figures but could make the frame if others falter, Gunmetal is my 2nd top rated but the trainer is 0-4 in the last 2 weeks and the jockey is 0-8 for the stable so my each way money will be riding on THEOTHERSIDE 9/1 (EW) who’s trainer is in decent form with 7 winners in the last 2 weeks and being drawn next door to the likely leader it could get a good tow into the race and then stay on the stronger.

REDCAR 3.45

This is the 1st division of this race and isn't too bad for a class 6 race but the 2nd division is dire and very little data to work with so I will leave the 2nd division alone, there's 3 known pacesetters in this race and it might well be won from the front, I will look to lay Secret Equity which is a bit of a gamble laying a 3yo but its time when it finished 2nd last time was a relatively slow run affair and I don't think this race will be run to suit it but with 3yo’s they are able to still improve but as its a maiden after 9 races i will take the risk, Muatadel, Dirchill and Zamjar have times that could see them go well and with a couple of negatives against their names it might well be Zamjar who does best of the trio but i will be siding with SHE'S A DIVA 9/2 who is a front running type and on the clock has the beating of the other 2 possible pacesetters and once getting to the front it ought to be hard to catch.

She's A Diva 5/1 5th -1pt

REDCAR 4.53

As to be expected there is 5 front running types in this 5 furlong dash, I can see a few to lay but I'm doubting they will be single figure prices but I will update if something comes to mind when I see the betting, Albegone will be to the fore in the betting but this is a step up in class and is only 5th best on my speed figures,I've got joint 3rd top rated with Koropick and Street Life so they could make the frame, my 2nd top rated is Debawtry but the trainer is 0-4 in the last 2 weeks and will be trying to stay on at the finish but I'm hoping my top rated DAPPER MAN 18/1 who could set the pace and if getting to the front it could prove hard to catch and the switch of jockey for this race makes me think connections are expecting it to go well here and at the price it has to be given as an each way wager.

Dapper Man 18/1 8th -2pts

GOODWOOD 4.35

A nice looking class 4 race with a couple of known front runners which always helps to work out how fast the early pace will be which can help identify a weak horse in the race prime material to lay which will be a shorter price than its actual chance of winning and in this instance that might be Glamorous Breeze 9/2 who in this instance might be outclassed at this level and might find things happening a little bit too quickly even though its speed figure makes it my top rated on just 2021 times and 3rd top overall but then when you multiply its speed figure by its official handicap mark it drops out of my top 4 so I will look to lay it, Just That Lord could go very well if getting to the front being my 3rd top rated but it think it will be set up for a finishing type, Saaheq comes out 2nd top rated but i will be placing my faith and money on ROSE HIP 7/2 who usually likes to track the leaders and then stay on the stronger at the finish.

2:45 Newmarket Racing Tips (28th August)

NEWMARKET 2.45

A 10 runner Listed class race with a couple of front runners, the top weight Summerghand is dropped in class from its recent races and if reproducing its best time from 2020 here over the Rowley course it could win but its been way below that standard time wise so far this year and not worth risking, Adaay To Remember won last time out in a lower class race and might be a progressive type but this is a big jump in class but being a front running type it could go well but not one I would like to rely on, I will be on the side of TABDEED 2/1 who is another dropped in class and comes out as my top rated using its time from Newbury last time out when it finished 2nd and has been found a good opportunity to go one better here, I expect it will be the favourite but I don't mind backing shorter priced horse in races where the prize money is significant.

BEVERLEY 3.15

This is a Listed class race with 4 known front runners amongst the field of 12 and both Tis Marvellous and Justanotherbottle could do well from the front as both are in my top 4 ratings, I would look to lay Dakota Gold 5/1 if its a single figure price as I think its better over longer distances but with the likely fast pace here it might play to its strengths but maybe too late for it to win this race, Wise Words my 3rd top rated will be trying to stay on strongly at the finish as will be TARBOOSH 14/1 (EW) who comes out top rated using a time from Musselburgh this year and hopefully it will be an each way price.

BEVERLEY 3.50

A fairly big field of 15 runners with a couple of known pacesetters, until I've seen the betting I'm not sure if there's any worthwhile lays amongst them, Duke Of Firenze, Ventura Flame, Not On Your Nellie and Arnold have times that could make them competitive if at their best, I will be going with 2 wagers in this race firstly LATIN FIVE 11/2 who comes out top rated on just 2021 times and its good enough for 2nd top spot on overall figures and usually stays on strongly at the business end of its races but my top rated DARK SHOT 11/1 is the only natural looking front runner in the field and if getting to the front it could prove hard to catch but the trainers 0-17 for the last 2 weeks doesn't fill me with confidence so I will go with the 2 bets to cover the angles.

WINDSOR 4.20

A poor turnout of just 7 runners but there is a couple of front running types so it should be a true run race, I will look to lay Libertine Belle 5/1 who might need further to show its best, as for the winner I have to admit its a race where i will have to go with dutching 3 runners, LETHAL BLAST 7/2 is one of the 2 possible pacesetters and could be dangerous if allowed an easy lead as its only 2lb below GLAMOROUS BREEZE 3/1 on just 2021 times but the top weight SECOND COLLECTION 6/1 has a time from 2020 that makes it my top rated by 3lbs so its close between all 3 of them for various reasons and I cannot split them

If this race had any known front running types it would be a cracking race but the lack of known early pace already means my stakes will be kept low, James Watt, Secretinthepark and Nibras Again are all rated within a 1lb of each other in 3rd to 5th top rated so could battle it out to make the frame, in 2nd top spot I've got Han Solo Berger but my top rated is the top weight SOUL SEEKER 8/1 who usually tracks the leaders and then stays on strongly at the finish and I do like it when a horse comes out top rated carrying higher weight against lesser opponents.

With nearly half the field being either 3yo’s or lightly raced sorts this race is hard to analyse but I do think the connections of HAIL SEZER 6/1 have found their horse a good opportunity to follow up from the race it won last time out at Doncaster and recorded a fast time the race before at Carlisle when finishing 2nd which puts it at the top of my speed figures list but the trainers 0-4 for the last 2 weeks means my stakes will be kept low.

3:20 Redcar Racing Tips (28th July)

REDCAR 3.20 Div I

A 15 runner race in a class 6 affair and to be honest I probably should leave these 2 divisions alone and there is several 3yo’s and also some lightly raced types and to be honest these races wont take much winning but I will be having a small wager in the race if *EPEIUS 12/1 (EW) is a double figure price so I can have an each way punt as it has a good time for this class which it recorded at Pontefract in 202 and an even higher speed figure from 2019 when winning at Hamilton but it hasn't shown much in its 3 runs this year but as long as its good to firm ground I will have a small each way punt.

*NR

REDCAR 3.55 Div II

This 2nd division falls into the same category as the 1st division where the race wont take much winning and there's a few 3yo and other lightly raced sorts so any stakes have to be kept low but i have seen that FIRM DECISIONS 14/1 is similar to my 1st selection punt in that it has a time from 2020 at Newmarket that is above this lowly class of race and again it has an even better speed figure from 2019 at Carlisle and if it can repeat either of those times it would be winning a shade cosily. Please don't go mad in these two races they are risky punts and it is only the prices that make any appeal and I would maybe go with a place only bet on Betfair or 25% win and 75% place.

REDCAR 2.50

A 7 runner race with just one known front runner, firstly I will look to lay Wentworth Falls who seems to be slowly getting slower with age and the jockey is 0-8 for the stable and the trainer hasn't had a winner in the last 2 weeks, Lady Nectar is my 3rd top rated and is a hold up type, I've got Manigordo as my 2nd top rated who likes to track the leaders and then run on at the finish and might be better when raced over further but I will be backing is the 3yo OUT THE HAT 11/4 who is my top rated and is the one I expect to lead and then hopefully be too hard to catch.

A field of 16 so hopefully they will all run and that makes it 4 places up for grabs so hopefully I can find an each way punt, I can only see She’s A Deva 9/1 as a lay that is of value but only if it remains a single figure price, I do have more if prepared to take bigger risks, 5 horses have been known to lead before so there should be a honest/true early pace and I think the race may be won from the front, Hello Girl 20/1, Sambucca Spirit 10/1, Rangefield Express 16/1, Kyllachy Warrior 20/1, Newgate Angel 33/1 and Fossos 11/1 all have pieces of form that could possibly see them make the frame if others falter but none of them are in my top 3 rated horses, Cuppacoco 9/2 is my 3rd top rated it doesn't want the ground to be too fast and can track the leaders or be held up but has poor trainer stats at this course, Orchid Rose 11/1 is my top rated on just 2021 times and is usually held up for a late run so this race could be run to suit it but I'm hoping it doesn't get there fast enough to catch *TOMAHAWK RIDGE 18/1 (EW) who admittedly hasn't been in great form lately but the jockey booking looks a positive move and I'm hoping it can at least hold on for a place but a repeat of its best time from Windsor in 2019 would see it hold on for the win.

2:20 Kempton Racing Tips (5th April)

KEMPTON 2.20

Only 5 runners but luckily there's a couple of known front running types, Top Breeze could be dangerous if allowed an easy lead but I doubt Lihou will allow that to happen, Blue De Vega may be better over a longer trip so will be trying to stay on at the finish but maybe too late to win this race, Han Solo Berger would need to improve time wise to win this race so I will be backing ROYAL BIRTH 11/2 who can be held up or track the leaders and this race could be run to suit it, so at the price looks the value call for this race.

I'm hoping the going is good to firm as forecast, firstly I will lay (Intrinsic) who I think will be better over a longer distance, there's a few horses out of form who i could lay but they are all big prices, Redrosezorro could go well here and being a possible pacesetter it could do enough to make the frame, others that have some figures that would make them competitive, Woven, Embour, Wentworth Falls and Fortimour, Gale Force Max has a time from 2019 that would give it a chance here but i am hoping another possible pacesetter, BOSSIPOP 18/1 (EW), can get to the front and then prove hard to catch and the jockey has a 15% win ratio on the stables older horses, so at the price I have to go with an each way bet.

1:15 Newcastle Racing Tips & Lay Bets (27th June)

NEWCASTLE 1.15

A nice looking but competitive class 2 race with 14 runners, a few lightly raced sorts who could still improve in time, with a couple of frontrunners it should be a true run affair and one of them is Gunmetal who is the favourite on the early tissue prices but it hasn't run on the AW before so not sure what to expect, the other is Giogiobbo who could do enough to make the frame, I will look to lay (Glen Shiel + Tabdeed) on Thursday I had a horse down as one to dutch and thought at the time it might be better if running in this race and it was withdrawn to run here so I will be backing STAXTON 7/1 who can either track the pace or be held up for a late run and it should hopefully be finishing to good effect here.

A Group 3 affair with a couple of 3yo at the bottom of the weights but price wise they don't seem to be fancied and I didn't rate them good enough at this stage of their careers, the horse to catch my attention, also my top rated is, MUBAKKER 5/2 who hails front the all-powerful M.Stoute stable and it won nicely on its last run at the beginning of this month and it looks plenty good enough to follow up here.

NEWCASTLE 2.25

I will start off with a couple I want to lay (El Hombre + Magical Spirit) who both look as though a longer distance would suit them better, it's pretty close on my ratings looking at each horse top ratings, Copper Knight, Ornate, Caspian Prince, Lord Riddiford and Cowboy Soldier are all capable of running big races, I will back 2 in this race to cover the angles, firstly OUTRAGE 22/1 (EW) could be one to battle to lead and if getting to the front could prove hard to catch but just in case they go off too fast and tire I will also back ENCORE DOR 16/1 (EW) who usually stays on strongly in the closing stages and with a clear run could get back to winning ways and this one is my top rated but at the prices, I will have to do both of them with an each-way wager.

Outrage 50/1 Unp (-2pt)
Encore D'Or 16/1 8th (-2pt)

Lay bets: El Hombre +1pt, Magical Spirit +1pt

REDCAR 4.35

I hope the thunderstorms don't affect the going, a very competitive race for a class 6 affair, I will look to lay (Comptons Finale + Swiss Connection) horses that could run well if on a going day are, Bashiba, Longroom, B Fifty Two, Henley, Undercover Brother, Leo Minor and Landing Night, but I will be backing BOUDICA BAY 7/1 but my stakes won't be at full tilt but it will hopefully be staying on strongly at the business end of this race.

Boudica Bay 7/1 1st (+7pts)

Lay bets: Compton Finale +1pt, Swiss Connection +1pt

Total: +9pts

Total on the day: +2pts

3:30 Redcar Racing Tips (17th September)

REDCAR 3.30 (7.7)

This race doesn't look one to get too heavily involved in betting wise, 4 of the 9 runners have led before and my top 2 ratings are possible pacesetters, Mutabaahy is well weighted on its best times but its on a losing run of 20 and the trainers 1-40 record at this course makes me think this race isn't its target to get back to winning ways, Kolossus, Magical Effect and Golden Parade could run ok but my 2nd top-rated is Gullane One and this front runner likes fast g/f ground to show its best as does MR WAGYU 9/1 and this ones trainer has a 15% ratio here with the stables older horses and the jockeys win ratio is 16% so I'm hoping that's a pointer to them expecting a big run in this race and its big enough price to back each way.

YARMOUTH 4.40 (7.4)

Only 7 runners and 4 of them are 3-year-olds, Victory Rose is my 3rd top-rated while in 2nd top position I've got Global Hope who likes to track the leaders but my top rated horse is the only known frontrunner in the race so I'm hoping that ALLISEEISNIBRAS 16/1 can lead from start to finish and get back to winning ways and the trainer has a 3-9 record with his 3-year-olds at this course and I cannot work out why its such a big price.

YARMOUTH 5.10 (7.4)

Down to 6 runners for this race but there is a couple of known frontrunners in the race and my selection does like a decent pace to aim at, Case Key could lead or contest the lead but I'm not sure it can lead all the way here, Excellent Goerge usually runs on at the finish and is my 3rd top-rated, the topweight Merry Banter is the other possible pacesetter and being my 2nd top-rated it could prove hard to catch for most of these but I do have MOONRAKER 16/1 as my top rated and this one is a hold up type and should be staying on the stronger at the finish its a shame there's not enough runners to go each way.

4:50 Redcar Racing Tips (28th May)

REDCAR 4.50

There's a couple of known front runners in this race with Fair Cop coming out 3rd best so there should be a fast early pace and this one could make the frame, my 2nd top rated is MACHREE 14/1 and its 7lb claiming apprentice moves it to top spot and this one usually likes to track the leaders and my original top-rated MIDNIGHT MALIBU 10/1 is the other known frontrunner in the field so I will go with backing them both each way to cover the angles.

Machree 14/1 1st
Midnight Malibu 11/1 6th

BRIGHTON 5.00

I don't know why I've added this sprint as I've no idea what will win the race, I would maybe have sided with National Glory 9/4 if it wasn't on a losing run of 14 and a better price, both Born To Finish 5/1 and Mont Kiara 20/1 could be competitive here and maybe dutching the 3 of them is the answer.

REDCAR 5.55

I don't usually like these amateur riders races but my top rated LETMESTOPYOUTHERE 9/2 is being ridden by a top class amateur jockette in Brodie Hampson and I will have a small bet as there is just so much that can go wrong in this type of race.

Letmestopyouthere 9/2 7th

SOUTHWELL 7.10

A lovely all weather sprint over the straight 5 furlongs here so the draw doesnt matter too much which is just as well when 7 of the 12 runners have been known to lead before and it might help my cause when my 4th and top rated are drawn next to each other, the 4th top horse is Crosse Fire in stall 5 but its best time so far this year has been a good few pounds below its best from 2018, Samovar likes to track the leaders and comes out 3rd best on my figures and could stay on at the finish so could make the frame, the topweight Eternal Sun 20/1 still comes out 2nd best and can be held up or track the leaders and its a bonus that its best time was recorded this year so at the price it might be worth an each way wager, the one I will be backing though is ARCHIMEDES 20/1 who is a possible pace setter and its drawn in stall 6 and im hoping it can lead or contest the lead from the off and prove good enough to lead all the way but luckily at the price I can back it each way.

Archimedes 33/1 Unp

SOUTHWELL 7.40

Another nice looking all-weather sprint race, even class 6 races are nice on artificial surfaces, there's is a couple of horses that could be hidden dangers in Inexes and Vinnies Wish but I'm hoping it doesn't happen here, Hollander is well weighted on its best speed figure but that was recorded at Wolverhampton which is a different surface and hasn't run over this c/d before, Granny Roz, Kraka and Poeta Brasileiro have been known to lead but they are drawn 9 and higher so maybe won't be able to lead in the make-up of this race, LIAMBA 7/2 is my 2nd top rated and a possible frontrunner from stall 3 so could gain control of the rails and then be hard to catch and its 3lb claiming apprentice jockey moves it to joint top rated along with GLOBAL MELODY 5/1 so will split my stakes between the pair of them to cover the angles.

Liamba 7/2 1st
Global Melody 8/1 6th
